Shade - Vosil's Eidolon |
Shade hisses angrily at Taerel's remarks "Not you as well! EVERYONE'S criticising me! It's sooo UNFAIR!"
She relieves her feelings by angrily tearing into the nearest elementals.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Another +4 AC to Shade, so with the Mage Armour she has AC 24 and Vosil has AC 21
Solomon "Bone-White" Skrivven |
Whoa, and Shade overcompensates for earlier misses! Quite the rolls.
Grymp |
Indeed, Shade destroys an elemental, and then 5' steps and damages another.
Only 2 Elementals remain.
Two blue men pop up out of the water and fire their crossbows at Shade and the Captain:
Crossbow @Shade: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 miss
DMG: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Crossbow @Captain: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 miss
DMG: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
These are tritons.
The two remaining elementals attempt to bull rush Malleck and a sailor.
bull rush Malleck: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 fail
bull rush sailor: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 success
There are now three sailors in the water.
Mordecai, Gertrart, Taeral, and Xeram are up.

Taeral |
Shortbow in hand, ready to take a shot at a dolphin, Taeral instead decides to help the others that have gone overboard.
"Swim back over here and get back in the boat you damn idiots. You should know better that to jump in with fish without a weapon."

Gertrart aka Blood Desecrator |
Gertart closes the elemental that is not on the captain. Let these things do our work for us. I am sure Malleck can convince the first mate to be in charge for a while... "Captain, why would tritons be attacking your fine vessel?"

Mordecai is delaying, dive in when ready!
Gertrart finishes off E4 [correct, no crits on elementals]
Xeram zaps and misses E5
Taeral is inspiring confidence on a swimming sailor.
The two dolphins attack two of the sailors.

dmg: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

The last sailor wakes, and the other 8 sailors switch to shortbows and fire at the dolphins and tritons:

dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 3

S2 Swimming: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7
S3 Swimming: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14
S3 swims and gets back in the boat!
Another elemental arrives on the deck of the ship, and it attacks Xeram (I will henceforth roll this elemental in with any others on the ship). You spot another triton in the water, that clearly just summoned this elemental. That triton commences casting another spell.
slam against Xeram: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

-Mordecai- |
Blue men... Whatever they are, I don't think we want it to finish that spell.
Mordecai finds himself unsure what to do with waterborne creatures, so he launches another fire bolt at the triton, hoping to interrupt the spell.
fire bolt, ranged touch: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10

Taeral |
Round 2
"Well Asmodesus has decided which of these sailors are worth saving and who will go to the a watery grave. A sailors that can't swim, I'm not going to help them." Taeral thinks to himself as he sees two of the sailors flounder in the water.
"Well you got back in the boat, now grab a weapon and help out." he commands the drenched sailor.
Seeing a new elemental appear and hearing casting, Taeral turns his attention to the caster, even though he has no idea what spell is being cast or if he is just jabbering orders to the tritons.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage, Shortbow: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Maybe that can disrupt him.

Pleased with her newfound success, she pounces on the remaining elementals.

Solomon "Bone-White" Skrivven |
Even seeing the blue men emerge, Solomon steadies his aim on one of the elementals wreaking havoc aboard the ship. He's gotten pretty skilled at predicting the complicated dance of combat, and is fairly confident he can avoid piercing an ally.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Precise shot=no penalties shooting into melee
Potential Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
He then loads another arrow in preparation.

Xeram looks composed but is annoyed by the strike from the elemental nonetheless. Though he shows an appreciative grin to Malleck.
