Recruitment is closed. As of now I have eight total submissions I have to work down to four. Maybe five.

Those are the people who have sent me characters up to this point. I found it funny I got two kobold submissions.

Of course you did! Why would you play anything else when you can play a dragon?! A smaller dragon, but. they're just fun sized!

Working on Galahot as we speak.

Should his name stay that? I think it's hilarious, but I don't know what the tone should be for the game. I'm also still not super clear on what I would be able to get from weapon finesse as a feat path.

Extra Question, if I take the Fire in the Blood alternate racial trait, can I get Fire Ink Tattoos without the negative effects?

As Fire in the Blood does not replace the fire resistance needed to avoid Fire Ink Tattoo's negative effects, yes.

Hmm, I was unclear. I mean if I also replace the fire resist. I think it makes enough sense since Fire in the blood is meant to counteract fire damage, like fire resistance. And neither Fire in the Blood, or Fire Affinity are very useful. I just think glowing tattoos would be cool.

Fire in the Blood is cheap healing, not a way to counter damage(even if it might do that), and that fire resistance means all you gotta do is stick your hand in a lit torch.

I won't be changing the tattoos. They don't deal fire damage to those without fire resistance.

Looks like a good batch, especially with background music.

Since Garidan went and got theme music, and I think I've found something for Ahzuma -- not sure yet, after two hours of searching, but this seems to hit the right time-frame for songs...

garidan's music reminds me that that show had the single greatest mech pilot of all time in it: Max Sterling. The man put on overalls and a hat while driving a mech.

Against my better judgement, I had to go with five people. Trying to get it down to four people was too difficult a choice.

I really wish I believed I could handle eight players, but the three I'm running this game for in real life are enough trouble. XD

I liked every character submitted, and I definitely liked no one trying to increase their odds of getting in by looking for roles left unfilled. In the future, I think I'll keep the part where no one knows what anyone else is playing.

...I got picked? Sweet! I'm kinda surprised, I honestly wasn't expecting to measure up. :D

Having seen RL interfere with some folks and them having to leave in other threads, would it be possible to keep the 'runners-up' on the 'short list' in case we need to replace someone?

Just a thought, so folks who spent time on this may still have something to show for it?
