Agromite Monshoon
After completing his search of the area, Agromite returns to the group.
Craft (Alchemy): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
"Oooo.....nice find! Strange thing for a dumb ogre to have but it might come in handy for us."
The gnome turns his head to look around. "Looks like he was alone, no friends coming to mourn him yet. But we probably don't want to wait until they do."
Agromite climbs back in the saddle, not reluctantly but definitely slower than he climbed out, and prepares to leave.
Stevron Vance
Stevron continues to look at the thunderstone, and begins to consider some possibilities.
"Ogre's don't usually carry around anything this advanced. A thunderstone would make a loud noise which might be why the ogre was attracted to such a 'loud rock', but maybe someone else gave this to the ogre. Maybe a way to inform the people that the job was done, or maybe to call for backup?"
Stevron looks at the others hoping for some thoughts.
Maoldrurra
"Or maybe it belonged to some luckless soul who the ogre killed and the ogre thought the stone looked pretty. I don't see how we will ever know. But it's good that we have it now. "
Maoldrurra thanks the returning scouts.
He agrees with Agromite. "You're right. We should get moving."
Once the party is mounted and moving forward, Maoldrurra guides his horse close to Anna's. "It was you that made me larger, yes? That could be very useful. How often can you do it?"
Piper 'Pip' Zappenpop
Pip stays with the party this time and rides calmly as Nimbus plods along. She seems perfectly content and conversational, but she seems to not be talking to any of you. As the wind blows she answers in a whispy, breathy language and continues to chatter away until interrupted.
Piper 'Pip' Zappenpop
For some reason Pip feels the need to explain herself, Any time the Wind and I are having a nice conversation, Earth has to go and intrude. For all its stoic "holding still" she does air quotes, it's actually quite the drama queen.
Piper 'Pip' Zappenpop
Pip shrugs, Water never stays on topic. Always wandering about and changing. Not that I understand it. Or Earth. The Winds tell me all this. Though sometimes I think I make out a word or two of the others. She pauses for a moment before adding, Some people think I'm crazy for talking to the Wind. I'm glad youall haven't rejected me so far. There was one barkeep that ran me out with a hand-bellows. Got soot everywhere.

The party remounts on their mounts and comes across a landslide and finds a way onto a flat area to cross it but it is still difficult going to get the horses across but when they are crossing it two figures that at first look humanoid start to cross but they are not. Their jaws appear to bend open sideways in two places and are carrying longspears and wearing chian shirts for amror.
Roll for initiative
Maoldrurra
What unholy allies aid the orcs now?
Maoldrurra backs his horse while addressing the oncoming figures, "Stay or face bare steel!"
When the creatures don't stop he whips his glaive overhead and slices at the nearest one.
Step the horse back 5'.
Glaive 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 = 21high ground... damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Seeing how much trouble Maol is having in the terrain, Agromite knows he is going to have trouble getting close enough to these creatures. He normally avoids using his gnomish magic in front of other gnomes, reluctant to demonstrate that he is different, but it looks like the situation leaves him little choice. Keeping the horse where it is Agromite claps his hands and begins rubbing them together. Within seconds there is smoke coming from them, and as he pulls then apart a small ball of flame sits in his palm. With an almost lazy flick of the wrist he send it streaking toward the creature Maol has already injured.

Maoldrurra
"Pip! fall back!"
Maoldrurra guides his horse backward to open up space to swing his glaive again. The heavy blade rises and falls toward the odd-jawed creature attacking Pip.
Glaive 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 2 = 22 high ground... damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Sweet! If the first hit was as bad as DM_WU said, that might finish him off.
Piper 'Pip' Zappenpop
Pip edges back as Maol ordered and lets fly with her crossbow.
If the one in front of us is dead, attack the other, moving as necessary for a clean shot. That might mean moving forward, against Maol's orders. ;)

Agromite Monshoon
As their leader continues to show his worth by taking down one of the creatures in two swift blows, Agromite finds his unusual power replenishing the flame in his hand. With one creature still attacking them and the proverbial cat out of the bag, the gnome sees no reason not to throw again but throws a bit wide.

sorry for not realizing it was MAol turn.
Maol moves his horse back forward and tries to bring down the last one but its spear prevents him from getting to a good angle where the creature is not shielded by anna. 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 4 = 17 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 But Maoldurra manages to barely get around anna and strike the creature with his glaive who seems to withstand it then collapses unconcious.
