I think that's for the best. He is Gabriel's nemesis. It wouldn't be narratively appropriate if they didn't get an epic confrontation at a latter date. Like the man says, no kill stealing today.

I tried to find a clip of Callisto being trapped in lava, but my google foo was too weak. For those who didn't grow up watching Xena, the metaphor is apt I tell you, apt!

I recall Callisto being decidedly hotter than Xena not a teeth-filed giant super aasimar.

I bet this Aasimar is pretty smoking. But, she too was infused with divine power, was basically an antipaladin before that (evil for the lolz), and then got trapped in lava but continued to live.

We're waiting on Arjax (and anybody else jumping into the conversation) to finish talking to the antipaladin. Or if you plan on ignoring anything else he says just tell me and I'll move us on.

Muahahaha, the plot twists
A few RL campaigns ago, I had a Dwarf who was secretly a very skilled poledancer. She had this very well under wraps, and I suspect Toramin may be hiding such talent from us as well!

Weekend has been incredibly busy, I'll get a big post up sometime tomorrow
Everybody give me an idea of what kind of magic item/trinket/weapon you would like. Try to keep it around 1000 gold.

Toramin would like an armor upgrade. Can we bank unused funds? Since I cannot afford Plate mail, it seems like banded mail would be the best, cheapest option?

For 1000g? I'd say a cloak of resistance but I don't really like the idea of PCs wearing capes, especially burly minotaur pirates. Maybe a loincloth or harness of resistance instead?
A pearl of power or a set of assorted scrolls would be nice.

Did the guy who mentioned his family survive the assault? Toramin would like to find out the names of the soldiers who served under him this morning. Would it be inappropriate to begin to compose letters to the nearest of kin of those soldiers who died under his command?

DM Omen, there are no magic weapons for 1000 gold. :P
That said, I'd probably choose, if I could, a Masterwork Longsword and a wand of cure light wounds. Totals out to 1050 g, though one isn't a magic item. XD

Bah! Why would he wear pants? It's in his description.
When on duty and basically forced to wear armor, Bjorkus is clad in a suit of worn scale armor a size too small and fitted for a soldier with reversed dimensions - being too tight across the shoulders/chest and too loose across the midsection. A heavy hide breechcloth and loincloth keep his hefty bovine manparts secured and tucked away. A massive axe is secured to his back via a leather harness and a hide sack tied to his hip holds his supplies.

Oh, and a healers kit and surgeon tools if thats alright. XD another 70 gp and only lasts for ten uses, but... fits with the whole discovery of 'I can heal and using healing magic' thing.
Because pants make it harder for a swordsman looking to make a dirty move to cut it off Bjorkus.

It's tucked away. I don't see how pants would be more protective than a breechcloth.
Besides minotaur and loincloths go hand in hand. Are you going to deny me my cultural heritage?

It's a fashion statement!
Just about anything other than a cloak is probably fine. Everyone wearing cloaks breaks up the fantasy imagery as much as the backpack that all characters seem to have but is never pictured in artwork.

Hahaha. I've always assumed that there were ten porters offscreen that accompanied every adventuring party.
@Toramin. Yes you can bank it if you want.
@Bjorkus/All. Yes you can change the specific set of clothing/accessory for a bonus.
@Toramin. Yes he survived, he got banged in the head once but his helmet mostly protected him. Wouldn't be inappropriate at all, I'm sure the families would be devastated their loved ones died, but grateful the ones in charge actually cared about them as individuals.
@Gabriel. Pshh whatever. Ya that's fine.
Summary so far
Toramin is either going to bank it or get some nicer armor.
Bjorkus wants something of resistance. Make it anything you want.
Gabriel wants a nice sword and a wand of cure light wounds.
Dalton is gonna get some nice pearls.

Can we assume that someone has healed Toramin's wounds? He would like the broken nose repaired.
Toramin will trade in his armored kilt (+10 GP), his Scale Mail (+25 GP), and his Dwarven Longhammer (+35) to requisition Banded Mail (-250 GP) and a Masterwork Dwarven Longhammer (-370) GP. Leaving 450 GP in the bank.

@Toramin/Everybody. Yes, wounds are healed. Later you guys will have to be more self sufficient when it comes to healing, but for now there is a lot being asked of you in a small amount of time so Geoffrey is getting you guys all patched up.

Sounds good. Thanks Omen. I'll assume it still takes up the normal magic item slottage.
Bjorkus returns from the outfitter with a sturdy rune-etched garment. It was once a protective robe for a halfling mage but now served him as a suitable loincloth replacing his old ratty one.

Toramin has several sisters and more than a few brothers. Yana, the clan leader, has encouraged her children to have large families. The Gearsmiths are a young clan, relatively speaking, and, Yana has no desire for the main family in the Gearsmith clan to die off. It certainly doesn't hurt that she is a high priestess of Folgrit. She may, or may not, be using her prayers to "cheat" and make her family extremely fertile. :-)
Whether or not Ianna would ever see Bjorkus is really a matter for them to work out. ;-)
