Just a quick 'about me': I discovered the Paizo pbp forum on July 21st this year, and have been a daily visitor pretty much since then. In that time I've discovered that I want to GM a host of different scenarios, modules, adventure paths and dice systems using the play by post format, but decided to wait until I'd put a bit of time playing in pbp games first.
Well I've recently passed 1000 posts and decided that as far as markers go, that seems to be a good one. I've started a private Skull and Shackles game with friends that's moving along (if slowly) but it's largely informal and likely not a good way to develop my pbp GM skills (other than NPC tracking anyway).
What I'm looking for: I'd like a handful of players with a number of Pathfinder scenarios/modules/AP's under their belt (preferably a few players who have GM'd as well) who are willing to take a level one PFS character and play through to level two (at least) in the same group.
My goal is to get input and criticism from the group as we play through a few different scenarios together, so I can figure out what works and what doesn't, and to answer any questions I may have as well.
Why PFS? The short length of scenarios opens up opportunity to GM different styles of play and narrative in a quicker time span than a module or adventure path. From Under Ice is different from The Segang Expedition is different from The Confirmation, etc.
What scenarios we play, at this point, does not concern me, I just want to see if I can get enough interested players to help me out. Once(if) I have 4-6 interested individuals I'll open a discussion thread and we can figure it out from there. That being said, feel free to post if you'd prefer Core or Classic and maybe a scenario you've been itching to play.
Lastly: I'd like to play with frequent posters who care about their characters and aren't just looking to hit the next chronicle sheet. I've seen a number of PFS pbp's with posts that are just "skill check, dice roll: did I pass?" or players who remain largely silent during anything but combats.
I accept that it is how some would like to play, and as a player I can shrug it off, but as a GM, particularly for this group, it's not what I' looking for. I'd like to flex both my roll and role muscles and I don't mind taking the scenic route.

This sounds like fun! I could really get into this.. its been a while since any of my characters was able to get with a steady group. I am thinking a Dwarven Paladin. I have had him running around in my head for a while, and just have not had a chance to get him out on paper. I would prefer non-core, but I will go with the majority if they wish otherwise. Might be good to get back to straight basics. Anyways, my post rate is pretty high, at least once or twice a day/ game.. mostly more than that if warranted, and I like to develop my characters into more than just money grubbing murder-hobos. That's really not my thing. Hope this gets off of the ground with a good group!

Hi! Ai is a brand-new Kitsune mesmerist. I'm still tuning her background and appearance, but I have a good idea about her personality.
A little about me. I passed 3000 posts a bit ago, and usually can update once or twice a day. I'm running Kingmaker (halfway through book one), a homebrew campaign, and soon will be running The Overflow Archives. As a player, I'm in a number of campaigns, the most successful of which is just beginning book 2 of CotCT after a year of play. I can play any scenarios except for Perils of the Pirate Pact, Emerald Spire levels 1-3, and Destiny of the Sands parts 1-3.
@Awenydd and Xynen: Haha! You will be. This is GM Aest.

This sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if I'm what you're looking for.
I've been playing pathfinder for almost a year, mostly GMing in real life for my kids. I've also been in a PBP homebrew since July. About a month ago I started to play PFS scenarios on PBP. However, I'm just finishing up my first PFS scenario, with a second lined up to start right afterwards. I have played many of the PFS legal modules with my kids, but not with PFS legal characters or anything. Right now my family is playing through the Emerald Spire. I would be building a brand new character, probably some kind of arcane caster.

Ai: It's nice to see an Occult class other than Kinesticist! I feel like that's all I run into. Looks like I'll be seeing a lot of you and Awenydd!
Redelia: You're more than welcome to join, sounds like you could provide a different perspective, which is always helpful.
Seems we have a decent party forming up. One more interested player and I'll open up a discussion and gameplay thread for planning and dotting.

I'd be interested, if you'll have me. My experience as a DM is rocky at best, but I've even around the boards for a number of years, and have played in a lot of games (some successful, some not).
I'd love to use this game as a chance to kick off my newest idea (though likely not an altogether original concept). A human Transmuter war wizard (basically my best shot at making a melee wizard). He'd need to be standard PFS for cool transmutation spells (Monstrous Physique, etc).
I'm happy to help folks sharpen their PbP skill set, and am always up for learning a new thing or two about my own abilities.

This is GM Xynen's rodeo, but we're still only 4. So I'd imagine you're good.
Have we been in a game together before Me'mori? I know I've seen you around the boards, and I feel like we might have been in a game at one time, but I can't place it.
As for healer ... I'm certainly not picky. It's why I always say "heal capable". Whatever floats your boat, but right now we have little to no options for getting HP's back on folks short of a heal stick in the hands of the potential dwarven paladin. :)

Hi! I have been playing Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons for about 20 years now. However I have exclusively played homebrew campaigns in an f2f settings. I am looking to branch out into PBP as I am fascinated by the possibilities for role-play in an entirely text based format.
I am interested in playing a divine or arcane caster, most likely a cleric at this point not necessarily focused on being a heal bot but exploring the reach of her gods domain. I have yet to pick out a god or domain but her name is Lynn and she will have a very soft demeanor, think frail flower that has delicate sensibilities perhaps in an anime style (not a huge anime fan here). Could be fun to pick a god that grants her destructive power so she can grow into a more confident role as the game progresses (perhaps like carol from walking dead).
Anyway let me know if you’d be interested in having Lynn tag along and we will do our best to contribute!

Dojen: This recruitment is for Pathfinder Society Play, which comes with a bit of rules and requires you to register your individual characters to play.
You can find more information here (link), if that sounds interesting to you, the rules regarding character creation and official Society play can be found in this Free PDF Guide . Once you've looked over that material, if you're still interested let me know.

Boldren, go ahead and join the discussion and gameplay threads for this game. That gives me a full group so recruitment is closed.
Dojen, feel free to private message me if Society play looks interesting to you, I should be able to swing running one of the 'introduction' scenarios such as Confirmation.

Thanks so much for giving me information regarding society stuff. I registered for a pfs id but I think i will bow out of this game since you have a full group and I haven't played pbp at all let alone in society play.
Quick question though, for the day job role is that your profession modifier?

Yes that is correct.
