Holy crap guys! Give a man a chance to play! The GM even asked you guys to keep it down to three posts a day. :P
Locke Tresslar
And that is great! I was mostly teasing. Considering Locke's still kind of on the "outside" and the robot was just destroyed out of hand, Locke is kinda of superfluous for the family reunion scene anyways. :P

I've only had internet intermittantly, otherwise I'd've posted more, too. :D

Yeah, Val is pure fluffyness. You want answers, you gonna have to look elsewhere. No one tells 14 year old girls anything important.

Important update: I will not be around on weekends at ALL. PERIOD. END OF CONVERSATION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
So what you're saying is that you'll be most available on weekends?
Analise Rodhire
Facepalm. No. Sorry, was slightly incoherent and rushed for that post.
Rywokit Prometheus
I'm sorry, I was just joking! I think you were entirely coherent. Please don't mind me - my dry humor is a recurring problem.
GM Viskous
Analise -
No worries about the weekend, for the most part any posts on weekend will be light and not story driven. You've set your character up to be always working in your notebook so if you don't exactly jump into conversations between characters on the weekend it won't seem weird.
Everyone -
What I'll hope to do is as late as I can on Sunday post something that drives the game forward so that Monday can start with getting things going. I'm likely to be a little slow with active posts on Monday mornings, so that should give you all time to have something going on.
Analise Rodhire
Note: Anybody that would look in her notebook would have to decipher three languages of computer code encoded in binary with complex mathematical equations to even sift it down to common.
And then, they would have to decipher her incomprehensible, inane shorthand.
;P
GM Viskous
Psst. Jack its just after nine in the morning. Sure you wan't to wait til tomorrow to adventure?
Jack Homini
I wasn't sure how long it would take for the party to gather info from the various npcs in the area that could help. He also has a match with Annika in the evening. :)
I'll let one of the other PCs correct him though, or side with a different plan. :)
Analise Rodhire
If it's only nine... Then I can get up at about 5 in the afternoon and have everything ready to go.
GM Viskous
That's not how spells refresh, you have a certain number of slots per day that requires a rest period to refresh.
Allen Starskipper
Yeah, only once in a 24 hour period, after 8 hours of uninterrupted rest for arcane casters. Divine casters don't need the rest so much, but they pray for their spells at the same time everyday; midnight in my case.
Locke Tresslar
@GM Viskous: Am I okay to go with the initial conversation between Locke and Raven being inbounds? I apologize if I caused any RP trouble.
GM Viskous
Locke and raven chat is fine. I don't think androids have special hearing or anything but chatting quietly wouldn't be easily overheard from outside the room.
GM Viskous
Heading down to Pacificon, so probably won't see a post from me til Tuesday. So basically if you had any between character chat that'll be fine, I'll get going again late Monday or Tuesday morning

It was fun. I missed Saturday due to a 40k tournament at another site, but I caught a game Friday evening, played the module Mask of the Living God on Sunday, and on Monday played Assault on the Wound and The Technic Siege.
Assault on the Wound was... rough. Mass combat is a different beast. I think I figured out how I would run it though. Some of the handouts and information they give could be super condensed and make it less frustrating. Plus we had a lot of strong personalities at the table that were disagreeing on how things should be done. We got through it though, no character deaths.
Moral of the story: Read Mass Combat if you ever DM the scenario.
GM Viskous
I might avoid that scenario for a while then, maybe after you run it for us?
I played a conversion of Ravenloft to Pathfinder, with the entire castle built in dwarven forge tiles on 5 tables, where we had to move around all over the room to the different tables as we went up and down stairs.
Oh and nice sportsmanship trophy you won, too!
OnelungBL
I'm a fan of the trophy. =D
I didn't think we would get it after an interesting rule debates we got into with one member of the opposing team on the first game. To their credit, they recognized that the tournament organizer sided with our case (and almost universal precedent) and didn't hold it against us.
Did you get pictures of the Ravenloft setup? That sounded super cool.
I came back with some ideas on how to run Assault on the Wound more efficiently. It'll take a little work, but I think I'll pick up the scenario and start crafting tools to make it flow way better. Once I do that, maybe I'll offer to run it.
The end of our module game was super exciting for me. Playing a level three wizard who had run out of offensive spells, I felt like my battlefield controlling had a super positive effect on the last encounters. I haven't done my writeup yet, but if anyone's interested, I'll share a link to a writeup of how the game went. =)

Mass combat isn't really a big deal. I've DMed and PCed it. It's really kind of boring unless you have an army for each PC to lead. It can be really brutal though. Had a paladin army defeat (put it into negatives) a ghoul army in 1 round. Ghouls never got to act against the paladin army as they attacked a merc army (Sword of Valor from WotR).

Next update tomorrow afternoon with a map and some pics, I forgot to post the pic of Councilwoman Folgert. I'll also try and get the roll20 ready for the next fight.
GM Viskous
Roll20 more complex than I thought. Though I think I have the current map and lighting situation configured. Also have your tokens setup.
Here is the campaign -

Rywokit Prometheus
I attempted to move Jack up with me, but I cannot move his character, and I couldn't get Rywokit to be "off" of a square, anyway, as normal for Roll20. If you want, you can just place him on top of Rywy's square, and we'll just know we're standing next to each other.
EDIT: Of course, I could try not being a moron. I moved Rywokit a little to the right so that Allen could fit next to him at the body, if he wants to move his character.

So my in person group of Iron Gods has just become, the Guardians of the Galaxy. I added a person since a player had dropped out. He is a full Orc big dumb fighter that took feral trait, so can't really speak, all he says is "Brick". I have a Kitsune gunsliner (Rocket), a swashbuckler with ranks in dance(Peter Quill), and the cleric and sorcerer have to fight over who gets to be Drax and Gomora, but we are pretty sure the cleric is Drax.
So I've got the Star Warriors and the Guardians of the Galaxy! What fun I am having.
Rywokit Prometheus
That's awesome! :D
.
.
EDIT: I started to write this in the other one, but then it was too late to edit that post, I got shoved to the "#NewPost" front page and lost it, and I now have two of the last four posts, so instead of adding yet another, I'm putting it in discussion to avoid spam. Let me know how you'd prefer to handle such events in the future.
Ahem: Rywokit would be able to determine that, "Her tunic and pants are probably only worth about 2-3 copper pieces now that they have holes in them and are thoroughly bloodstained..." which, of course, And with that useful piece of information no longer burdening everyone, he would step out of the way to allow others more skilled than he actually look at the body. He would also proceed to fail at being a lookout. I'm a helper, you guys!
GM wants me to roll, so...
INT/Knowledge (local), maximum DC 10: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
EDIT: ... which was much higher than the "Preview" on the other page, which was something like 11 or 12 or so, total. I don't care which value you use, though you'll probably want to use the lower one, as that was the one I actually made in the Gameplay thread.
