Haven't picked a PC yet. Are there any faction missions on this one?
Based on the lineup, it looks like we should have plenty of skills and ranged damage, but we may be short on front liners and healing. Unless anyone disagrees with that assessment, I'll probably pick a PC based on that.
That probably means either my level 2 shillelagh wielding druid with a wand of Cure Light Wounds or my level 3 buff/heal/support cleric. The cleric isn't really meant to be a front liner, but he should be fine tanking in subtier 1-2. I'll have to look and refresh my memory on my other PCs at this level.
I'll check back in a few hours and post a PC then.

Yeah I am excited that this is a Sovereign Court mission! Also, Booyahh that dayjob roll!
Isabel is almost entirely skills and support right now. She'll get better with combat at higher levels but right now she is entirely a skill monkey and someone who uses the Antagonize feat.

The only skill I think we don't have covered at the moment is Survival, which we probably want heading into a jungle and hunting something. But, we could always rely on wayfinders and skill tools, too.
Nice dayjob roll! I'm just glad I got above 10.

Ok, I'll bring the druid. He's really not that kind of druid, though. I mean, he's really not that kind of druid.
He's an urban guy who just happens to have a connection to monkeys and quarterstaffs. It has more to do with being blessed by Sun Wukong than nature.
I did throw a rank in survival, though, just because it's a wisdom based class skill, so I figured he could be decent at it. But it's not his focus at all.

Honestly, this scenario is just perfect for my character's background! Been wanting to build this grippli gunslinger since I got the boon for it. (Will explain more in game.) And as a soldier, he has survival, too.

Your perception and initiative rolls in the spoilers at the top leave off my familiar. The monkey can't talk, but he can express himself other ways if he notices something interesting, so I usually like to roll his +9 perception separately. I'll certainly understand if you just want him to go on my initiative, rather than tracking him separate for that.

Just a heads up that posting may be spotty over the next week. My wife is set to be induced on Thursday which means I'll be at the hospital for a couple days. There is a chance I'll be sitting there in the hospital for a long time though, so I may get a post or two in. But after that, I'm sure we will have our hands full with the newborn. And of course it's the holiday weekend so everyone will be pretty busy anyways.

Thanks for running! I think you did a good job of reffing and keeping things moving despite the large amount of RL you were dealing with. Re the scenario, the "tiger" encounter seemed to be well justified and foreshadowed, but I wasn't getting a good handle on why the two asuras were at the temple. Maybe if we'd gotten a decent Knowledge check to ID them we would have had a better idea, though. I did like the mix of combat and social, even though Jivan's not exactly a face. Well, not at all a face, although at least I didn't dump CHA.

@ Jivan: They were a variant asura called a tripasura, and they in particular "seek out the pious to torment, as well as holy places and relics to pollute with the taint of loathing and faithlessness." So basically just an evil outsider that likes to vandalize holy places.
@ Hamith: I'm glad you liked the PbP format, and I would never have guessed this was your first attempt! I thought you did a great job and your RP was on point. You are always welcome at my tables.

My character was definitely off her kilt a bit in this game, I learned she is better suited toward more urban adventures.
I think my diplomacy roll at the end was the only successful thing I did lol.

@Lady Isabel: I think you handled it well though, especially through RP. For me, it's interesting to watch characters out of their areas of expertise and see how they respond.
