Unable to distinguish between friend and foe, the bigger inside-out/boiling/sponge croc attacks its smaller replica. However, it is also unable to see, and misses horribly.

Mini-croc becomes like big-croc, smaller but no less turbulent. Also inside-out and also under GM control. The chaos beast slithers over to Cott and assails him with its hideous appendages. If you fail a Fort save, it will send all subsequent attacks at Jenny.

Sadly, no. I should have done this last turn, oh well.

Spending 1 Ki to gain +4 AC for the next round, then stepping up and performing a Flurry.
Flurry: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Hmm...it may be immune to critical hits, but does that necessarily preclude me from confirming one against it for purposes of stealing its ki?

Hmm, good question. I think "score a confirmed critical" (emphasis added) means it actually has to be a critical, so unfortunately not.
Kali steps into the fray and kicks mightily into the creature. Several fanged limbs fly off, but through some chaotic force the beast still churns madly!

After being tagged by the chaos beast's claw, Cott's flesh ripples and flows, puddling into a horrifying mass of assorted parts. EDIT: @ Cott, you can't move that far. (I failed to mention that) your speed is also reduced by the curse to 10 feet or 1/4 normal, whichever is less, which means... 7.5ft. I'm declaring that you take a 5-foot step as a free action instead, so no AoO.

Skybek lays his hand on Cott and delivers a Touch of Good.
"Cayden Cailean, we ask fer yer help both in the brewing of fine ales but also in battling gooey blob like beasties that dannae belong here! Gie yer strength tae mae friend Cott here!"
This grants his companion +3 sacred bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks and saving throws for the entire round.
The dwarf then draws his crossbow.

Actually, major-croc is still around and attacking blindly. Cott, do you spend your next standard action dismissing it?

![]() |

Yes, unless Besai is standing next to it, in which case I allow it to continue thrashing about and hope it smacks him around some.
What kind of save(s) if any do I make to end the curse?
-Posted with Wayfinder

GMTrex |

In one minute, you'll go unstable again; you can then make a Will save again. If you fail, you'll need to make a Fort save. It's probably easiest if I just make the saves for you, since it's tough via PbP for me to let you know every time a minute goes by. Is that alright with you?

![]() |

That'll be fine for Jenny's saves. As for Cott:
Cott withdraws his wand of Cure Light Wounds, and heals himself and Jenny.
Healing Cott: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Healing Jenny: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Then, still feeling a bit peaked, hits himself again.
Healing Cott: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Feeling the curse continuing to pull at his body, willing it to twist and morph again, Cott says
"Hell with this, no one changes my shape but me. I am the master of my own flesh."
He tosses his wand to Khakil in case he needs it used on him again, then shapeshifts into a raptor, looking for all the world like a larger version of Jenny.

![]() |

Cott, save the charges on your wand. I have some channel energy to offer everyone.
"Crivenns! That was a beastly beastie! Ahh didnae care tae much fer fightin that sort of fiend! Here, gather aroond and Ahh'll gie yae a wee bit of Cayden Cailean's draught!"
Skybek channels energy leaving the room smelling like a cozy pub!

"Ahh can help yae restore the drain that beastie gave yae. Who wid benefit the most frae my healin?"

Khakil looks around at the array of doors around the room, reminding him of a game of Russian roulette. He shakes his head and plops down on the ground sitting.
