| GMTrex |
Tess recognizes a soul eater when she sees one. Soul eaters are most frequently summoned to the material plane for the purpose of assassinating a chosen target, and the soul eater can seek that target out unerringly. As the name would imply, a soul eater quickly drains its target of the will to live, and then devours their soul--rendering them unable to return to life via any magical means, even true resurrection, miracle, or wish.
Tess also knows that soul eaters do not fear normal darts and blades--only magical weapons have much chance of harming them.

@ John: that "boulder" is a rune-marked stele 1d5 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 feet high. You can get atop it with a Climb check and a double move, which would use up your whole turn. Additionally, even if you do not climb the stone, you cannot both move (move action) and full-attack (full-round action), so only your first attack would go off.
