Violet rapier v. Tavrosiel: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 151d6 ⇒ 2
Violet moves up and stabs at the elf with her rapier, but he dances aside. Meanwhile, Jerrik retrieves his bow and Dalgron finally punches his prisoner into unconsciousness.
"Dathnien!" yells the male elf, furious. "Die, human!" he says, moving away from Violet, drawing a wand and firing it at Dalgron.

Dalgron winces slightly as the force missile impacts him, but laughs at the weak attempt to harm him. "Who you callin' a human, elf?!" He rushes five feet south and attempts to seize the man in his hands.
Imp. Grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

GM Tarondor |

Dalgron successfully grapples with the male elf, finding him solid despite his ghostly appearance. Jerrik's arrow flies wide by several inches, as does Violet's attempt to run the elf through.
Seeing himself beaten, the elf relaxes and says "I yield! Yield!"
Violet rapier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 111d6 ⇒ 1

I'm calling it. Combat Over.

![]() |

Ok, you yield! Good! So, what's with all the shenanigans, huh? Ghosts? Really? Come clean while you can. Jerrik will then see what the man has to say in his defense.

![]() |

Dalgron releases the man from his grasp and pushes him to the ground, his foot planted firmly on his chest. "WHAT did you think you were doing? You nearly killed my friends, jerk! Who do you work for?!"

![]() |

"Killer? Who is this killer, you speak of, elf? And who do you work for? Tell me, or get pummeled."
Intimidate, do I get some kind of bonus given the circumstances?: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (15) - 2 = 13

![]() |

As Zhatara recovers from the spell she shoots a murderous look at the male elf:"So... What do you think we should do with you? You've got much to answer for and we can't certainly trust you..." she says maliciously.
Seriously we can't trust them. Does anyone have any rope to bind them?

![]() |

Jerrik doesn't have any rope to use. I don't know, since he was willing to give us such important information that could be enough to give this guy a second lease on life. If not... kill him now.
Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Dalgron pulls a rope from his pack and ties the agent up. "Aspis, eh?" He spits onto the ground.
"I don't care how powerful your boss is, we'll handle it. Right, guys?" He pulls the rope tightly around the agent's ankles and hands. "I hope you enjoy lying helplessly in these ruins. Not to worry, we'll take you back to the proper authorities when we're finished here."
I'm for moving on to the next area at this point.

Don't you have to implant in someone specific, Zhatara?
This room was once used as a storage room. Water drips slowly from a leak in the roof in the northwest corner, forming a muddy puddle on the floor. Human and animal tracks cover the floor.

Survival: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Dalgron carefully examines the ground. "Hmm, seems we've got animal prints here, belonging to badgers and weasels of varying sizes. Sounds like we won't leave this place hungry," he says with a grin on his face.
He then heads down the narrow corridor ahead and has a peek into the first entrance to his left.

A look of disgust on his face as the decay assaults his senses, Dalgron says, "This place is too... Empty for comfort. Be ready for anything."
He then moves across the hallway to the larger room north of him as quietly as he can.

"Alright, friends. Let's make for that smelly room, then?" The dwarf says as he shuffles towards the room to the west.

GM Tarondor |

If anyone played Zurnzal in Serpent's Rise, now is your last chance to tell me.
Rolled up straw mats lie in a pile against the western wall of this room, leaving the damp earthen floor exposed. The walls appear freshly cleaned, though they are still speckled with stray flecks of moss and mold. Open cages line the southern wall of the room, and the air is rich with the smell of recently shifted earth. Archways lead to the north and to the east.
A powerfully-built woman stands in the room. She has a strange, feral look to her, as if she incorporated many aspects of a savage beast into her very being. She spits on the floor at your feet and cracks her knuckles. “Welcome, Pathfinders. I take it you aren’t interested in surrendering without a fight?”
She doesn't wait for an answer.

Jerrik: No. You have to have the chronicle before this game starts.
Dalgron...DAY-UM! You know, I've been reading about how many groups Cetenna mauls. It doesn't look like that's going to happen here!
Jerrik's rapier flashes out and nicks the angry badger. Meanwhile, Dalgron steps inside Cetenna's burly reach and slams his fists into face.

Luck's on our side today! I was concerned about getting mauled as well. I haven't GMed this scenario before but this dungeon seemed too empty to not have some badass BBEG at the end, and we've only got four PCs.
I think the total damage (unless she has DR?) should be 22, however? (8+5+3+6)

Tekkannan races around the outside of the room, attempting to get into a flanking position with the bruiser dwarf, drawing his blade as his goes. He ends his run with a powerful lunge at the feral woman

Cetenna Will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Cetenna blocks Tekannan's attack with brutal ease, then laughs off Zhatara's spell as well. "Well, at least one of you doesn't hit like a girl," she says, wiping blood from her nose. She then offers a powerful snap kick to Dalgron's head that rocks the dwarf back a half step and bloodies his own nose.
"Let's dance," she hisses.
