Ivan does the same, not sure what to expect. He's also a bit leery about the fanbase. "Still, could be worth'a listen," the dwarf reasons as he walks away with his own copy as well.

After finally wearing themselves out arguing obsessively with people online about lyrical analysis of the latest SMC album, Peri is definitely a little grumpy and snippy. They seem particularly miffed at the Nuar who stepped on their foot at one point, and the bruise slowly growing there.

They get their own copy of the album as well, and try not to be TOO rude to the person who rings them up.

Peri also grumpily adds a fair share of credits to the pool for Ziggy's copy, muttering something about "that damn argumentative idiot", clearly referring to someone from their internet argument.

Thanks for clarifying!

Just need to know who else is throwing in for Ziggy's copy, and who is buying their own.

STIK spends his time waiting in line creating a new grenade. Shock Grenade I

STIK puts in a fair share of credits towards buying Zigvigix a copy. However, he looks dejectedly at his credstick realizing that he does not have enough for a copy for himself. He shrugs it off.
"The weapons were necessary," he tells himself.

Lira is very excited when she finally makes it to the front of the line. "I'm so tired, but I want a copy please." She also chips in for Ziggy's copy.

Ok, everyone but STIK bought one, and everyone pitched in for Ziggy

Task complete, the team returns to see Zigvigix. When they see you, you hear, telepathically, "Oh, you have it?" The shirren's antennae are quivering with excitement. "You must, please, deliver it to Historia-7 when you see her, for me."

Lira takes a seat on the bench next to Ziggy, "We'll be happy to do that for you. Should we have gotten you your own copy as well? You can borrow mine until we finish our Confirmation if you would like to listen to it today."

”No, no.” says the Faction leader. ”I am fine. I am glad that you were able to get one for Historia-7, she will just love it. I shall be happy with her happiness.”

To the offer of the loan, ”No, I just couldn’t deny you the pleasure. I shall be fine. No, you enjoy the album, as it is your reward for waiting in line. ”

"A'ight, if you really wanna wait," Ivan muses, shaking his head. He doesn't quite get Ziggy. "We'll take it to her soon. Should we head that way next, or what?" This question he directs to the rest of his team.

"That feather stalker took a fair bit outta me," the dwarf grins, turning back to the shirren. "Made th' line a welcome change. Relatively. Doubt my friends agree, tho. Didn't have a seat keepin' 'em off their feet and away from other people's."

Twich holds out two copies so Ziggy can see them. "This one is mine, and this one we got for you!" Then she hands Ziggy his copy.

When Twich hands Ziggy a copy of Star Sugar Heartlove!!!, the shirren squeals in delight! "Oh, you shouldn't have!" They hold onto the album, caressing it, turning it over and over.

"I don't know how to thank you for this!" they say, quivering with excitement. "Please, take my charge cloak. I hope you can make use of it!"

Lira smiles and gives Ziggy a wink. Let's deliver the gift, and see what task they have for us. We can rest for a while if you want to Ivan."

FYI - Ivan is fully rested from after the encounter with the feather stalker

Is it safe to say you are moving on to Historia-7's mission?

Twich nods to Lira. "Yes, we need to see Historia for two reasons now, so let's go there first."

Oh yeah, you mentioned that but I forgot to update my profile.

"Le's go!" Ivan proclaims. "We went A an' B the C of D on this mission, now we'll try for the next one."

"It is our pleasure Ziggy, We'll head to Historia straight away!"

"Nice to meet you. Enjoy your warehouse." Lira waves as she heads out to meet Historia.

Peri would offer to buy STIK's copy for him. It would seem unfair to wait and walk away with nothing.

"Sure, I'd be glad to see Historia-7 again." Peri says, their voice sounding almost sarcastic, when in reality it's just a bit flat at the moment.

Peri, it would be nice to do this, but you cannot buy SFS rules. Sorry. However, I will rule that STIK could draw against the money you have already earned for defeating the feather stalker (192 credits).

The Lorespire Complex, home and heart of the Starfinder Society, is a striking campus dedicated to knowledge. Communal labs and historical departments study the Archives’ massive collection of artifacts and texts, gathered by generations of agents from across the galaxy. A quick search of the directory indicates Historia-7 frequents the Archives’ Cortex, a computerized matrix containing digital records of the Starfinder Society’s most prominent discoveries.

The android reclines on a raised chair and is plugged into the local infosphere when the doors open. The neural cables detach themselves from her neck as she swivels in her seat to address the new arrivals. “Greetings, Starfinders,” she says calmly. “I am Historia-7. If you are seeking a mission from me, please be aware that my request requires both discretion and speed. Do not accept it if you feel incapable of working within these parameters.

“I discovered someone recently hacked into Bluerise Tower’s computer systems and stole a large amount of sensitive data from the resident corporations. I wish to be privy to this information. I managed to trace the hacker’s location through many proxies and erased the trail so that station and corporate security should be delayed in their pursuit. This deception will not fool them for long, so you must move quickly to retrieve the data before they can recover it. I will leave you to decide what to do with the hacker afterward, but should it be feasible, I believe that person would be an asset to the Society.”

Twich simply nods her head in acknowledgement of Historia's instrucions.

Monty tries to take it all in, nodding the large creature rambles "Oh, the politics of a place like this.. it makes me feel a bit like an eel out of the coral, if you know what I mean."

Peri pats Monty as they walk past. "I'm not sure what you mean. This sounds exactly like my sort of... stream? Lake? Ocean? Whichever."

They look towards History-7 and say "We would be happy to take care of this for you. We'll see if we can make a new Dataphile of this person as well. Where can we find them? Do you know anything about them from your trace?"

"Hope we're doin' this fer a good cause," Ivan says concernedly, sharing the morlamaw's unease. "I getcha, Monty. This is all a bit new ta me. But we'll see it through and learn from the deed, I guess."

Historia-7 sends your comm units the location, an apartment resembling a cement cube in Drifter's End. Several tomato plants in plastic barrels sitting on an otherwise barren porch and a young man is outside tending them.

Twich approaches the young man carefully, observing what he is doing.

"Before we forget. Ziggy wanted us to give this to you." She hands over the album. "It's a good one enjoy."

Drifter's End

Lira walks up to the young man. "Are those tomatoes? I haven't seen anything like that growing since I left Castroval. Do you live here alone?" She tries to look nonthreatening, but probably fails miserably.

Historia-7 gives Lira a long, unreadable stare. She then, quite calmly states, "I shall enter this into the Archives."

Drifter's End

Lira walks up to the young man. "Are those tomatoes? I haven't seen anything like that growing since I left Castroval. Do you live here alone?" She tries to look nonthreatening, but probably fails miserably.

The man looks up from his tomatoes, and says, "Yes they are. They should be quite good when they are ripe. I am planning on making some tomato sauce for my grandmama and myself when they are. Do you know where I might get some garlic?"

"Tomatoes?! Garlic?! They sound delicious! Did you find these recipes online? I'm starting to have some ideas for supper myself, would you mind good sir of I used your computer? I would love to learn more about these terrestrial plants."

To Monty, he says, "Why would you need to use my computer? It is an old one... not as good as the comm units you folks have. You don't make sense."

He turns to Lira, "Really? I would appreciate it if you would let me know where. We can't afford much, but a little garlic, and maybe some basil, would make the sauce much better."

Monty looks a little embarrassed. "Quite presumptuous, I actually don't have a comm unit. I'm a little new to this level of technology and with all the options in manufacturers and models I've been a bit overwhelmed and have avoided making a decision in the matter.." he rambles off before gathering himself again.

"My name is Montgomery Warhol and these are my associates. We are here with the Starfinder Society because of some disturbances in the datasphere that trace back to this region, one of my more tech-oriented colleagues can speak more on that matter. We're simply going apt to apt in the local area asking a few questions about the matter. Would you be agreeable to lend us a minute of your time? I can assure you that none of our questions are intrusive, mostly broad strokes."

Glad someone else could say it without his normal bluntness in conversation, Ivan chips in. "No one's in trouble. Fact is, we could work well with someone who can do that."

Peri steps forward and says "As one of the more technically inclined people here, I would like to look at and assess this computer of yours that you claim to be ancient."

Drawing against credits earned for the copy would be appreciated. Thank you, Silbeg.

STIK nods along with the group. It would seem his shoulders relax when Monty says he's confused about the situation; but he doesn't really take part in the conversation (and tries not to let on to his own confusion).

Twich shakes her head at the heavy handed tone some of the others are taking. "We believe someone here has great computer skills, but may have used them in a way that could be causing them to be in danger. Do you know who this would be? We will help and protect them, not cause trouble."

"No, no. There's no one here with any computer skills." he replies, "just me and my grandmama. I've never been able to a thing with computers, so I just don't know what you are talking about." The young man looks noticeably frazzled.

"Is that yer grandmama?" Ivan asks, pointing out the old woman. "She looks nice. C'mon, let's us talk, we don't mean any harm." Realizing that a fair bit of the team's look suggests otherwise, the dwarf instructs his mount to back up around a corner.

"Yes, she's a bit more cautious these days. What is there to talk about? We aren't computer people." he says.

"Perhaps your grandmother has seen something or knows something. We need to ask her questions, too. We will be calm and gentle; you have nothing to worry about."

"We really don't want to frighten anyone. We're just trying to keep someone from getting in trouble. If not you, then maybe your grandmother has information."

"Why would she be in trouble? What do you mean disturbances in the data sphere?" he looks truly confused.

"If you or your grandmother had nothing to do with this, then we need to talk to your grandmother and look at your computer to figure out who did, because others will follow the trail that led us here, and they may not be so gentle or careful."

"Did what? You haven't said what we supposedly did!" he cries out, almost in tears.

At this time, a wizened old woman in a blue-and-white
abaya steps outside the door. "Please. There is no need to makes such a commotion. Would you all please come in? I can make some tea, and we can talk."

Peri moves to step inside the apartment. "Thank you. Yes, let's talk." Peri finds a couch, and jump/scrambles up onto a sitting position on it.

"So, we have it on good authority that either you, or some hacker has used a computer to hack some... restricted data. Now, since the trail ended here, it's highly unlikely that the hacker just tunneled a proxy through one of the nodes in your apartment, but perhaps they hijacked your signal. Has anyone strange been hanging around here in the past couple days? You clearly don't look the sort to be some whiz-kid runner. And definitely not green-thumb over there, seems like produce is more his calling." Peri just kind of rambles at the old lady, while looking for a computer in the apartment.
