Dungeon Master S |
I've dotted in. I'll actually be playing this one. Who I bring is TBD.

Just a quick heads up. Starting Friday 17-Aug until Tuesday 21-Aug my internet connection is going to be spotty. I expect to get in a morning and an evening post, but likely only that.

Greetings, all! Please set up your taglines using the standard PbP template, which can be found here, and fill out the standard starting information:
Player Name:
PC Name:
PFS#:
Slow Track or Normal:
Faction:
Day Job: (Please roll now)
Perception and vision/senses:
Initiative:
Notes: Anything I should know; passive abilities, boons that are way out there, etc. If you have abilities that are immediate actions that interrupt an enemy, I'll be as fair as possible, but you can help me out by telling me under what conditions you typically use it.
Cribbed from the ever-helpful Dungeon Master S.
First substantive gameplay post will go up by this evening at the latest, mid-day (US Central time) if I can swing it.

I apologize - unexpectedly long couple of days at work. Should be back online by this afternoon.

So we're currently in a very difficult spot for the GM. We've hit a point where analysis paralysis can kick in. As the players try to figure out "the best" or "the correct" plan, progress can grind to a halt.
In my experience, this is one of the trickiest things for a DM to handle. The goal is to push the party juuuuust enough to get them executing a plan instead of talking about one.

Sorry, folks - unplanned travel yesterday, had to fly out to NY to check in on my father after a fall (nothing broken, luckily, but he had some stitches and his face looks like he lost an argument with the sidewalk, which is pretty much what happened). Back online this morning.
Chris, as you probably know from running this quest before, this part is more funnel than sandbox. I’m going to try to help the group along with a nudge not strictly written into the scenario but consistent with one of the pieces of information that you didn’t get from Jianghong - I’m hoping that will help the group make a decision about going forward.

Seeing as how I think I'm next, here is the link for the Constellation quest. I'll begin once people check in.
