GM Nightingale |

Discussion thread is open! I put a map of Sandpoint and a list of shops and locations which might be of interest to you off the top of my head in the Campaign Info. This is where I'll be placing things like handouts and the like. The current battle map will go up top along with the initiative order if there is room. For those of you who are curious, we will be using block initiative.

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

Thanks Night!
I had a look at Awarthannen's character and although similar, our personalities and core backgrounds are pretty different. We're just both Dark Warriors. :p
I actually had Divine Warrior as one of my trait choices, but with the taint in Charles' blood, I figured the +2 on charm and compulsions was better for the campaign. His heritage would probably have given him a bonus in that area. :p
First guy I've ever played with an eyepatch!
Thanks very much for picking me. :)

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

Yea, I think Charles just embraces his humanity though, eradicating anything undead he catches wind of, regardless of the fact he feels Pharasma probably most likely disagree's with his existence. However, embracing his human side, he feels that with only a weak taint still coursing through his veins, his actions against evil abominations and the undead would please the Goddess, as would his Valor and conduct under the watchful eyes of Iomedae.

Arandor Verion |

Arandor is ecstatic when he discovers he will get to go to Sandpoint and further his studies of the Thessalonian empire. Wrapping up his affairs he just has to make some final purchases prior to starting the trek to Sandpoint. All he can think of is the Old Light and the answers it will bring ... he is almost more excited for the new questions it will present.
I will finalize the Hero Lab file with some purchases and upload tonight.

Eostre of the Crying Moon |

Hello folks and thanks for picking me! I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong with my characters... :p
Speaking of which, I have put together a Hero Lab portfolio for Eostre - Night, do you want that portfolio emailed or uploaded somewhere for your reference?
While she's from a barbarian people, Eostre won't be taking any levels in that class. Depending on how the game develops, her progression will be either straight oracle, or maybe a few levels of bard with the dirge bard archetype. The latter archetype would fit in with being an oracle of Pharasma and round out her skills nicely.
By the way, if anyone wants to offer suggestions on the build for the oracle, feel free to comment. I'd hate to get into the game and only then be told I've missed something obvious or essential for Eostre's intended role.

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

I'll most likely be taking Fighter levels at some point for the Two-Handed Fighter Archetype. Ranger's my primary class though. I have a few fun things planned for Charles, and his build will likely go in a pretty crazy direction.

Eostre of the Crying Moon |

If you could upload it, that would be awesome.
Any particular place you want it uploaded to - like a Google docs account or similar? I don't have an account there myself, but this would be as good a reason as any to open one.
I've already used the stat block output from Hero Lab for Eostre's profile page (which I pretty much just cut from HL and pasted into the profile).
Or have I missed something obvious? I do that all too often...
Edit:
Eostre, it looks like you have two too many traits.
Like this message on the recruitment thread! Sorry Night, I only just saw this when I was going back through the thread to check something else. The answer is that Eostre had taken the Additional Traits feat, giving a starting total of four traits. However I've now changed Additional Traits for Selective Channeling, leaving her with only two traits (Auspicious tattoo [Shoanti] and Student of Faith).

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

Night guys! Stayed up way too late and it's 3:05am here in England, so see you on here tomorrow. :)

Eostre of the Crying Moon |

Here's the link to retrieve Eostre's Hero Lab portfolio. Permission has been set to allow anyone with the link to access it.

Eostre of the Crying Moon |

Night guys! Stayed up way too late and it's 3:05am here in England, so see you on here tomorrow. :)
Goodnight! Midday here in Tasmania, Australia. However I'm home with the 'flu today, hence the multiple posts.

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

Hello everyone! And thanks for the pick, GM Night. Very much looking forward to this. :)
Whoa, looks like we're on full force. Great! But I wasn't expecting that, lol. Rest assured, I shall endeavor to fix my stats and get onto the Gameplay thread ASAP.
Yes indeed, two dark warriors Lord Charles. We should get some magic shades, because we're men in black. :)
In fact, with Eostre the oracle of Pharasma as well, this is looking like a bit of a gothic horror-type party... which I give a thumbs up. :)
England? Australia? We're really spanning the world - I'm in New York.
I'll try to get my stats done tonight and maybe post too...

Arandor Verion |

And I am across the country in Washington State.
GM Nightingale: May I alter my opposition schools before the final stats upload? No problem if not.

Arandor Verion |

Yeah, I can try to keep up with that. I am going to be on a boat in the San Juans for the next few days so I'll be posting/following by iPad. My posts probably will not be as verbose and I likely won't do any extensive journaling until Sunday.
If I disappear for a bit it's because we're too close to canada and I had to turn off the 3G connection to avoid international charges. I should be able to make contact every day though.

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

Hey Night, nothing on the 20 sense motive then? It's to see what I trust and don't trust about him. :)

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

That's ok and I don't mind. You can do. I'll burn through my starting cash fast, having the suite and all, haha.

Arandor Verion |

Tracking money is good.
So ... my phone is now in Davy Jones' Locker ... I did partially dive in after it! In any case I will be slightly less available ... still should be on daily.

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

I'm cool either way as far as managing food and lodging costs.
To save a little on micromanagement, we could do automatic daily or weekly deductions, depending on the character's preferred lifestyle cost. Our noble lord might spend more to live in the suite and for finer dining for instance, while the rest of us might want to live more cheaply.

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

Cool.
Lol, Awarthannen's oblivious with these terrible Perception checks. I know you didn't ask for them, but this is my character for ya - VERY single-minded at times. I'm assuming he's not right next to that other table with Chod and Charles, too, and that there's enough ambient noise to not make it easy to overhear them. Shameful perception checks for an elf though, lol.

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

@Arandor - Info on Kreighton Shaine can be found in the Pathfinder Companion: Seekers of Secrets, p. 12. I will provide those details later in this Discussion thread for your convenience (when I get a chance, have to go now!).

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

It is much more convenient for me if you just put your stats in your aliases as opposed to Hero Lab, I just realized.
Would removing any spoilers from our profiles be sufficient? Or do you mean you'd like us to place our stats into the text boxes in our profile page?

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

I'll have a response for you tomorrow. :-)
Late here and I didn't realise any PC's were on my table. I thought a few just.listened in to mine and chods convo, asking chod questions here and there, simply leaning in, so thanks to Eostre, I now know she's on my table. :-P

Eostre of the Crying Moon |

Turning her attention back to Chod and the grim looking individual with the eyepatch, she says "My name is Eostre. I've newly arrived in town seeking signs of... something like what you are speaking of, possibly. Would you mind if Scrivner here and I joined you at your table? In any case, I'm in need of a meal myself, so I have to find a seat anyway."
Actually I did screw this up. Eostre asked to sit at the table with Charles and Chod, but never actually got an invitation to do so. So sorry for confusing things. Can we just assume that she took Chod's seat when he left and go from there?

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

Lol, I was picturing our tables very near each other so we'd overhear each other fairly easily, regardless of who is seated at which table. And especially with the noisy crowd dwindling away. But the tables being near was my own imagination, in hindsight.

Scrivner Durran |

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

Hehe. Btw - Eostre, Charles, when I had Awarthannen say he extends his hand to anyone else in the conversation, I meant you two (as well as any other NPCs there, though I think Chod left) since he and Arandor have come over to your table.

Awarthannen the Forsaken |

...glancing around, he realizes some of the folks he is becoming acquainted with may have arcane spell books. Once some trust is developed maybe some exchanges can be made.
Great minds think alike. ;) It will be done, sooner or later.

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

Ah, I'm still wanting to ask Ameiko about the board before bed, so will do that in past tense - same goes for offering drink. I didn't realise we were all going to bed straight after my last post. :)

Lord Charles Iridian Bloodgrave |

@GM: Hey man, any news on Ameiko's response?
I'll join the others asap. I'm just trying to do it in such a way that's true to this character. :)

Eostre of the Crying Moon |

And, lol regarding Eostre's reply to Awarthannen. I foresee a future filled with friendly antagonistic banter between the mystic and the skeptic. :)
It's even funnier from my POV - these days I'm a science grad student and a member of the Australian Skeptics Society. Yet I'm playing a true-believer religious mystic here... :)
