Aw...sorry that you had to reschedule! I hope you'll get to have your watery pirate adventure soon!
Nixie Attwater |
Thank you, sweetheart!
The upside is that I’ll run a different game that day! I am planning a rather fun game as a GM with the people I invited. You cannot beat watery pirate goodness, though!
Hmm
GM Lorenzo |
To help me prepare the Chronicle Sheets, please double check your PC's information on the slides and let me know if there are any issues.

Congrats, Hmm! You won the Scholar of the Sages/Model Pathfinder Agent boon. I've got your email address. I'll send the boon to you when we finish the scenario.
Larry
Corona Merrion |
Congrats Hmm!
My information looks correct :)
GM Hmm |
Oh! A boon! Neato!
Ebonwolf Metalbender |
Congrats HMM.
All is correct save Ebon is level 5 not 4. I must have miss typed that at some point maybe. whoops.
GM Lorenzo |
Anyone in touch with Kaya? Sent a PM, but haven't heard back yet.
Nixie Attwater |
Funny you should ask this... I just sent her an email telling her that I missed her bright presence. I hope she’s okay.
Hmm
Corona Merrion |
^ Me too.
Corona Merrion |
I'm going to be out of town tomorrow and Tuesday so my posting might be a little limited; I'll have my laptop with me and I'll try to check in in the evenings once we settle in at the hotel for the night.
GM Lorenzo |
We've accomplished what we can in the Understacks. We have four of the six scroll fragments. Getting close.
Enjoy your trip, Corona.

My most sincere apologies for my long absence, everyone!
I didn't expect to hit the depression I did after my last few posts online and missed out on a lot. I'll be trying to catch up on all of these posts over the next day or so. I've got an event coming up this weekend, so I'll try to make up for what I've missed out on in quantity with quality (but do forgive me if it's still lacking!) and then try to balance it out afterwards.
Thank you all so much for your patience. >^<
Hiyami
Nixie Attwater |
Depression stalks all of us creative types. The only way that I have found to get out of it is (for me) physical activity (that depression keeps me from doing!) The important thing right now is to stay in touch and keep moving, even if it’s a sentence in Discussion.
Hiyami, you are wonderful, and you have friends who love you.
Soggy wet group hug!

Big hugs from here too. Depression does come around but we are here for you.
"The hug may smell like wet dog though. So I've been told."

"Hugs are wonderful, New Friends! They make you feel warm and fuzzy inside!"
Depression is no fun but as Nixie and Ebon said, we're all here for you!
"Princess" Tiffany |
I know exactly what you mean. I'm generally a pretty anxious person and have some really bad days. To be honest, writing creatively on these boards, at least for me, is a form of self-care - but everyone has their ways of coping, so I hope you have found or will soon find yours, hiyami.
GM Lorenzo |
When I'm feeling down, I hit the gym. Come home, shower and sip some Jameson's. Then I chew some nicotine gum, wishing I could have a cigarette.
The Lady Catherine de Bourgh |
I will be out of town from this Thursday until Monday for a convention. Expect that the updates will be slower, but I should be able to get at least one update in each day.
Nixie Attwater |
I will be at the same convention. But let’s keep this moving!
Hmm
Nixie Attwater |
Before I solve the riddle, does anyone here want a go at it? Let me know if you want Nixie to wait before posting!
GM Lorenzo |
I am running this particular scenario to express my gratitude to our newly-minted Venture-Captain, who introduced me to the world of PbP. It therefore seems appropriate for Nixie to attempt to answer the riddle.
GM Lorenzo |
@Ebonwolf: You said you might consider a down-time option other than a day job roll. Have you decided what you want to do?
Larry
Corona Merrion |
Delayed response, but glad to see Nixie (and Hmm) get a chance to show her mad riddling skills here :)
Ebonwolf Metalbender |
Hey Lorenzo sorry its been almost a full day since your post.
Before I decide my downtime would you take the end of Combat with the Kitsune riddle Master as meeting the requirements for:
Accept the surrender of an enemy combatant (other than an evil outsider or undead creature), and ensure his fair treatment until he can safely be released, ransomed, or delivered to authorities for justice.
?
If not then I will forgo my day job check for
Forgo your Downtime and succeed at a Diplomacy, Knowledge (local), or Perform (oratory) check with a DC equal 15 + your character level to organize a charity event.
Diplomacy DC20: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
GM Lorenzo |
My understanding of everyone's intent is the party plans to keep its promise to Mistress Koi and deliver the kitsune to her.
If that's how it plays out, then yes.

Corona Merrion |
Hey guys, I'm working all day tomorrow and then immediately coming home and playing in my group's home game; I *might* be able to sneak in a post but otherwise please just bot me as needed and I'll catch up on Tuesday. Thanks!
GM Lorenzo |
Everybody, the Chronicles are ready, as soon as you resolve this last bit of business with Mistress Koi and the Fugitive from Fey Justice.
@Ebonwolf: Help me understand what you want on your Chronicle sheet: Day Job roll earned you 5gp. I think you want to keep that and check the box on your faction card for accepting the kitsune's surrender and delivering him to Mistress Koil. Is that correct?
Or do you want to forgo your earlier day job roll and check a different block on your faction card, indicating you organized a charity event?
Thanks.
Hey Lorenzo sorry its been almost a full day since your post.

GM Poblano Pepper |
@GM Lorenzo: Yup you are right I will take the 5GP and the surrender.
Thank you for an awesome game.
GM Lorenzo |
Just need Nixie to resolve her faction mission, and then I'll post the link to the Chronicles.
@Nixie, if you need help, you can ask your companions for help.
Nixie Attwater |
I am waiting to know if Kreighton saw right through the deceptive bookmark. The volume appears to be, She’s Always Right, Even When She’s Wrong: a Bachelor’s Guide to the Keleshite Princess.
GM Lorenzo |
Thank you for a successful session. Everyone but Corona earned 1847gp and 2PP for the mission. Corona earned out-of-tier 1177gp and 2PP.
You can view and download your Chronicle here.
Let me know if there are any errors I need to correct.
If you'd like to provide me some constructive feedback on the session, please PM me. I'm not thin-skinned or argumentative, and I appreciate anything you have to offer that will help me improve.
I sincerely hope you all enjoyed the game.
See you on the Open Road!

Thank you for running Larry. Was an amazing game!! And everyone involved this was so much fun. My only wish is to have been together in person to see everyone's expressions with this scenario. I have someone in mind that I will be running this for in the future.
Maybe someday we can all meet in person in the future, although I have met some of you on person already, and I'll run us through something!
@GM Lorenzo: My chronicle looks great except that Ebonwolf, oh let me rub that bog water muck off his shoulder, has a lovely 43992-1 tattoo on his shoulder. That random leaf made it like like a -16 I understand.
"Princess" Tiffany |
What a great game. Definitely one of my favorites this Gameday 6, so my thanks to Larry for running it and everyone else for their usual great roleplaying. It was a fun one. :)
GM Lorenzo |
@Ebonwolf: Removed your fig leaf, wiped your '6,' and replaced it with a fresh Chronicle. You can find the corrected version at the same link.
Ebonwolf Metalbender |
@GM Lorenzo: Thank you good sir. I owe you a drink of your choice. If you happen to be headed to PaizoCon 2018 let me know.
Corona Merrion |
My chronicle looks good! Thank you so much for the invite and for the great game. I look forward to hopefully playing with (and possibly GMing for!) all of you in the future :)
The Lady Catherine de Bourgh |
My chronicle also looks good.
Thank all of you for the fun game!
GM Lorenzo |
I'll be at PaizoCon 2018. Looking forward to seeing some of you there.
Larry
Nixie Attwater |
Hey Gang,
I underestimated how much scutwork would be waiting for me when I returned from the Con. I will try to update you a couple times tomorrow, despite the proximity to the holiday. Sorry I could not get to it earlier today.
I was SWAMPED.
Hugs
