I would have liked to test my skills in combat before Christmast, but it's ok :) Newcomers could help me to integrate better.

It might be worth getting them introduced before you leave, give us a chance to meet them/get to know them.

I agree with Nessa, if it's possible to have the new person before then, that would be a good note to leave on. Leave us in antici........

Hey everyone, I'm very sorry but I have to bow out of this one. You're great players and it's been a pleasure to start my PbP career with you as my companions. Unfortunately, I feel like Izkrael is not part of this adventure at all. Also, I feel like we're playing an homebrew Riddleport campaign instead of the Second Darkness AP, which is not that bad, but it suddenly turns bad when you consider that Izkrael has been conceived to play the Adventure Path, to fight drows and explore elven cities and so on. He's not the right material for a urban-themed adventure with the characters staying in Riddleport for so long. I've been waiting for a fight to pop up until now, but now that I've got the chance to finally take Izkrael into combat, I've found out I'm not motivated at all: I don't know how the GM handles initiative, the combat moves on very slowly, and so on. Let's simply say that I found that I prefer fast-paced games instead. They help me to stay in-character and not to lose momentum.

A big thank you to you all and to Eschie too: I appreciate the trust you gave me recruiting Izkrael and I will always be grateful for letting me join my first PbP. But it's now time for me to move on: I do not want to become a deadweight for the party only because I'm not motivated enough to post. I heard that the GM was considering the idea of recruiting a 7th party member: well, there you go, there's one more spot open now.

Eschie, if you could sign Izkrael as inactive in the campign info it would be great :)

Sorry to see you go. I have to admit I'm tempted to call it quits too. I've been enjoying the RP and party interaction (that's what kept me around) but it will take over a decade to finish this AP at this pace.

As for you Cameron, I will be very wroth with you if you leave so there. I understand why you're considering it though.

I really enjoy all of the side stuff myself, it doesn't bother me that we're sidetracking a lot as I enjoy when things are added like this. That being said it does help my enjoyment that a lot of it ties back to my character lately, granted ti was to resolve things with Sylee somewhat as well so we could reduce the inter party tensions and avoid some bad things between PCs. I do kinda wish we could pick up the pace a little bit, but I realize we have some largely disparate time zones to deal with as well and that it probably doesn't help much.

Regardless of all of that I'm here for the long haul as I enjoy the character and other players too much to leave.

I do like the side quests too, but I'd really like to make some progress on the main plot arc :)

Yeah, we're really close though Therric, should be leveling anytime now. Keep in mind we've had some really slow stretches the last several months too.

Finally managed to get some computer time...

First, sorry to see you go, Izkrael, but I understand.
We had a rough start (I took up this game when the first GM poofed out, then an ex-player tried to GM a few weeks, then me..), players poofed out to so I had to recruit new players and find a way to get them into the game...

Due to a recent increase in my work load, it's tougher for me to post during the day, I post mostly on evenings, French time. Maybe I got too caught up into side quests (to give you needed experience and some extra money/stuff) and neglected the main story. Apologies for that, I will try to amend myself on this point.

Level 2 isn't that far, and I'll try to get another character into the team asap, but I want to spend time with the family on Xmas, as you surely understand.

I'll be back on Monday, as promised, and will try to move things.

On another note I found two errors in my skills, namely my perform dance and profession courtesan totals were way off. Dance was because I forgot I made it a class skill through a trait and forgot to add the trait bonus.

Profession courtesan I have no clue how I got it to a 10. Recalculating it I came up with a 7. Only thing I can come up with is that I added my charisma instead of wisdom to it and shorted myself one point in the mix. Very strange.

Either way both are now corrected.

I think, in universe, your Profession check being a +10 would have come from reputation. So you'd have had a circumstance bonus. XD

And I'm curious as to who's going to be joining--what are we lacking in terms of party balance?

Thanks, that's cool looking, I think that's more her when she's mad though. I think the one in my alias fits her better most of the time, other than the outfits to conservative for her. I also now have three more artists watched on that site just from that page alone.

Good news are I got a day off tomorrow, so if I can't post today, I will tomorrow.

So, I've started putting ranks into both Knowledge (Nature) and Knowledge (Dungeoneering) in my real life...(I'm enrolled into both Geology, my major, and Zoology this term). And my work has eased back too, so I'll be posting more frequently as well. I hope you are all well too. :)
