I was thinking maybe a Dwarf Paladin. Haven't thought to much on it yet though ;)

Are you still happy with just the basic concept and a background rather than the full crunch? Or would you prefer me to have some stats up?

Basically he has trained his entire life to fight but he has never actually killed anyone or anything. He is also quite afraid of battle yet he forces himself to face it.

I think it is kinda strange and I may get a different feel for the character later on ;)

@TheHaryAvenger: Have you seen the Stonelord build for a Dwarf Paladin from the ARG? It’s worth a look if that is your concept.

He is a Keleshite from Katapesh, a man with smooth hands who doesn't really hold his sword as strong as a true warrior. His gentle voice moves in almost a musical pattern, easily suggesting that he is a natural singer.

I know that I may not be your first choice to send on an assignment, but I know I can work my way past any personnel issues that would stand in your way. He smiles invitingly. A man of the theatre can work wonders with people. Why else do you think so many actors end up working for royalty?

Just popping in to announce a different PBP campaign for First Steps.

I removed an inappropriate post.

I'm reopening recruitment for one more 1st level character for First Steps sessions 2 and 3 (To Delve the Dungeon Deep and A Vision of Betrayal, respectively). Having played In Service to Lore is a plus, but not necessary. We currently have a barbarian, cleric and druid, if you'd like to create someone to complement the group. Previous applicants are welcome! I'll be closing recruitment by Sunday afternoon.

I have two characters, you can choose

or

Victoria "Tori" Carolingian. 1st level Magus (Kensai/Bladebound)

I am cleaning them up right now but they should be good in an hour.

Can I present Rascaliron the beggar king for the group. Wacky and fun roleplay with magic and fighting powress.

Alternatively I present Baptiste the grenades alchemist.

I'd like to throw in a sorcerer if you have a free spot. Working on the crunch now.

I can't accept Baptiste since he is 3rd level.

IMK: I will probably lean towards taking Tori.

Actually, due to some good advice, I will be looking for 2 players for this group and 1 for the second group, since I've found that PbP derailments are common.

I would like to submit Kargen. He hasn't played any of the First Steps scenarios before.

I would really love for a chance to get Dasiji into the third scenario of First Steps, since he's already done the first two. (Basically a well-armed Ijo ranger, worshiping Shimye-Megalla, hating sahuagin, and able to throw darts to good effect when not swinging his greatsword.) I know it's a bit early, but I'm putting my name out there now, in case there's an opening later. :)

I'm probably going to extend recruitment until tomorrow, so I can get some input from the group (and the fact that I'm worn out today). So, anyone who wants to get a character concept up, you've got a little time.

He has a Faction trait, which will just be ignored until after session 3.
