Fiend series | Shackles

"Have it your way then. Children, attack them!" she shouts and the water under the boat begins to bubble. Her appearance changes, from a frail old lady to an ancient hag. Hair like rotting seaweed drapes this algae-colored skin.

The sight of the hag is so revolting that Xasay is instantly weakened, loosing part of his strength.

This is a particularly ancient sea hag. Three times per day, a sea hag can cast her dire gaze upon any single creature within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a Will save or be staggered as strange nebulous distress and a gnawing sense of impending doom plagues the victim. If a sea hag uses her evil eye on someone already afflicted by this curse, the victim must make a Fortitude save or be overwhelmed with fright and collapse into a comatose state for 3 days. Some people wake from this comatose state, some do not...

Tori has an Ioun Torch circling her head always, as there is no reason not to have it up unless she's trying to sneak. I don't believe this matters in the current situation, but may be important as the Ioun's Torch Level 2 Continual Flame cancels the Level 2 Darkness spell when in range of one another.

With an annoyed sigh, Tori steps up 5 feet and fires two arrows at the creepy hag.

"You will be next girl!" the hag shouts at Tori when two arrows find their mark. Scratcher retrieves some items from his pack and Grisaia makes everything as bright as day! The water seems to explode as four oversized piranhas bursts from the water, spreading broad
fins as they take to the air to sate their hunger. They quickly fly to the ship and attack Scratcher, Emmett and Grisaia!

One of them latches it's teeth into Emmett's arm, refusing to let go! The razor-sharp teeth tear away chunks of flesh while the other fish make a motion with their fins and glide away! But not before Grisaia chops down on the one that attacked her!

Scratcher punches the fish hanging from Emmett's arm twice, but it won't let go. Instead it punches it's teeth firmer down in his arm!

The other three fish fly in again! One sinks it's teeth firlmy in Scratcher's arm while a second bites Grisaia. Xasay ducks below the ship's railing and hears a dull 'thunk' when the fish hits the boat from the outside. Emmett takes his hammer, which is considerable task for him while he is under the curse of the hag.

Tori smirks as the hag disappears under the waves. She then steps over five feet to the east, loads up another arrow, and shoots it at the blue fish to the south of her.

Grisaia hits the fish that attacks her, only to heal it and her pathfinder friends moments later. Xasay conjures a note in the air that shatters over two of the fish, doing considerable damage. The conjured eagle also hits the fish that is chewing on Grisaia's arm. Tori kills the fish that was chewing on Emmett's arm.

We are taking over!"
