Hearing nothing of concern behind the doors, Kivuli looks to the team. "If yetis are here, they are shoutlessing goodly. Which knob-handle are we open?"
Kivuli studies the handles and the seem of the portal to ensure there are no traps or tripwires to injure allies or alert enemies.

Eleven ruined mattresses and a few aged and cracked pots are this room’s only furnishings. A section of the ceiling has collapsed in the northwestern corner of the room, causing the wind to howl eerily as it blows over the building. A series of images has been carved into the still-standing sections of the room’s walls, each image indicating a humanoid in a series of different positions and stances.
You enter the room and find a large pile of rubble brown shape on map. It is obvious that the ceiling collapsed, burying everything underneath it under the rubble. Clearing it would probably take days and is out of scope of this scenario ;-)
At the end of the room two double doors lead onward. You move towards those doors and assume the same formation. Korug opens the next doors.
| GMG |
You open the doors to a walled courtyard, the remains of four wooden training dummies stand near you and towards the south a few scraggly
plants struggle to grow. Folium has an uneasy feeling, he just knows battle is about to start!

Aurum, there is no reason why you would not avert your eyes as you are not attacking, giving you 50% chance you do not even have to save

Modekai: yeti was alive, you tried to avert your eyes (not rolled for) and failed your save. If you are able to avert your eyes you would have cast, if you did not manage to do that you would be paralyzed. As averting your eyes is 50% you have a 50% chance you still have the summon because you would be paralyzed.
Has Mordekai got his summon? >50 is yes: 1d100 ⇒ 50 That is a no.
Modekai moves and misses the beast because his goblin companion is in the way. The yeti pounds his claws against it's chest while roaring in anger before it claws at Zob! The first claw hits and leaves the goblin bleeding on the floor. The yeti takes a step and also lashes out at Mordekai, who also goes down! Folium feels the utter panic leaving him, although the yeti is still a very scary opponent.

Korug's first attack in reaction to the yeti's move just hits the monster! But a hit that just hit is also a hit, and it hurts the monster significantly, blood is flowing from the long gash that the weapon leaves. The second strike finishes the snowy beast!

Kivuli races forward, pulling a wand from his belt. He taps each of the two downed members of the party on the forehead and steps back waiting for the magic to take effect. He smiles as the wounds slowly start to close.
Use a single charge from the Wand of Infernal Healing on each on Zob and Mod.
Modekai

His eyes flutter briefly as his body regenerates before they open wide in shock at the magic, antithetical to his own, subsumes his divine aura and he scrambles onto his hands and knees before vomiting spectacularly.
coughing and spluttering uuugh... um... thank you?
He takes a few long, deep, heaving breaths as he stands up
so, what now?
Kivuli Greyfeather
|
Whoops, didn't realize how hurt Aurum is. I will hit him with a charge too.
Remembering the protocol he learned from Mr. Geld earlier, Kivuli put on some gloves and taps the wand to Aurum's chest.
"You are thanked. Fewer holes for closing making for less deading."
Aurum Geld
|
Aurum gives the vaguest hint of a smile and nods toward Kivuli. "Thank you for being so thoughtful."
Looking around, he replies, "At this point, we will have to...augh, by the prophet..." He clutches his side for a moment as the infernal magic does its work. He quickly removes the makeshift bandage he had placed earlier on his wound, pulls out a new swath of linen, and wraps himself again. "I'll have to burn these clothes afterward..." he mutters to himself.
He coaches himself to breathe normally a few seconds later. "As I was saying, we will have to continue deeper into the shrine. At the very least, find somewhere with some shelter from these winds."

You find the place where the yeti has made his nest,a pile of filth covers the once-fine mats laid upon the floor. You search the room and find a braid of white hair, the braid is almost a foot long. Folium detects that it is magical, radiating strong transmutation magic, but can't find out what it does or how to activate it.
Searching further you come upon the next room. This fifteen-foot-by-thirty-foot room seems to have escaped the destruction found throughout the rest of the monastery. A statue, leaning against the northern wall, appears out of place among the rest of the room’s contents—clay pots, ruined sacks, and aged tools. The statue, made of finely carved stone with jade inlays, depicts a man with a serene face, standing in a meditative stance.

He walks around looking around the room, carrying his rabbit and scratching it behind its ears.
"Stupid of me to freeze like a bunny, wasn't it? For that thing? I shot one already, was the other so much uglier?" he says to the rabbit in a low voice.
He reaches the statue and stares at it for a moment.
"Is that the Irori guy? And hey, wasn't there still some areas we didn't check? I wouldn't want to get more of those furry surprises."
