Narrator

In the morning the group leaves to court, registers the evidence - which earns them some disapproving looks as the bring in the childrens skeletons - and head on to the barristers office.

As the start of the trial approaches the people flock in. If anything, the crowd is larger today, and is alive with talk of yesterday’s events. The clerks arrive early to prepare the courtroom, and as the time approaches 10:00 a.m., the other members of the court arrive.

Today’s events whip the crowd into a frenzy. They are angered at the deaths of the children, and are even louder than yesterday.

10:00 a.m.: The Trial of the Beast resumes. Chief Justice Khard asks the prosecution to outline the details of the alleged events in Hergstag.

10:30 a.m.: Witnesses for the Prosecution. The prosecution describes the events that transpired in Hergstag 7 months ago, alleging that the Beast slew six children and, when caught, was driven from the village. Otto Haiger calls three former residents of Hergstag, the sisters Garrow, Starle, and Flicht, to give their eyewitness testimony of events in the village.

12:30 p.m.: Witnesses for the Defense. Gustav calls Grergof to present any evidence they found in Hergstag.

Grergof asks the Sisters the following questions one at a time he does not proceed untill the last question is fully andered so they have no idea where he is going:
1) Why was the town abandoned?
2) Did all the children come back as spirits?
3) When did you run off the Beast, was it directly after Ellsa death?
4) When was the thief stung up as a scarcrow in town? (Fishing for origin of brother swarm)
5) What do you know of a Brother Swarm?

Narrator

One of the sisters - Flicht - answers the questions.
"The town was abandoned, because the ghosts of the dead children haunted it."

"Yes all six children came back as ghosts."

"Yes as the beast came into town with dead Elsa it was driven away from the village."

"I don't know about a thief as scarecrow and I don't know Brother Swarm."

A foray could be lead to talk to the children, if you could imprison them you could talk to them. Or have a cleric talk to the body of the dead."

Stam will present the body of the child they brought back with them.

"We have time to wait for you to call a cleric."

3) Did we find a wraith in the town?
4) What happened when we destroyed Brother Swarm. (Note the bodies)

3) "Yes and 6 wraith spawn. The Children were hiding out in the homes they had prior to their deaths."
