Would the mechanus get an A.o.o, if it is behind the door and the soldier pushed it in, however we can pretend that the door is up to North American code for an entrance to a building which means it opens out and in that case maybe. On the other hand the mechanus might have to make a reflex save in order not to lose its balance because it was holding the door shut. But the man beat the strength check by 4. So I would have to say all the way. Now I am not completely sure about the A.o.o.

Johnathan whips out the pyrotechnics scroll and starts recite what is on the runes as the sea wall slowly moves open. Large explosions are set off over the lighthouse, surely apt to bring about the loyalist navy as well as any group of defender from the Duchess' entourage.

Hold the Lighthouse (Skill/Combat Encounter).
You can see enemy forces gathering in the distance. You have limited time to
prepare yourself, but a little ingenuity might negate the need for a fight.

I posted the encounter info into the discussion thread. This should go much faster than a normal combat encounter. There is no initiative and please do what you think would be best. For round 1 there are no enemies in range so you can prep the defenses. Joseph will be revived by now.
