Viata shrieks as the creature comes flying by Miles. Seeing him hit, she turns to stare at the creature and cursing it with misfortune. Her laugh begins to fill the area.

Know. Nature (+1 if related to jungle): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
What is this creature ?
Grimma move near the creature in the hope of getting its attention away from Miles and try to hit it.
Battle axe w. power attack: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 3 - 1 = 221d8 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 3 = 14
Viata d'Foc
Viata looks at the maimed dinosaur, then over to Grimma. "I see you're better at killing dinosaurs rather than scorpions, yes?" She then turns back to the dinosaur, thinking. "Is dinosaur meat edible?"
Knowledge (Nature) to know if edible: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Grimma Fireforge
Ylimancha be praise ! said Grimma when she chopped the creature.
Yes you're right Viata, hihi. Can you tell me more about this creature Viata
Then she turned to Miles and Finn
Do you need heal Miles ? Finn do you have any remaining power to cure him ?
Miles of Magnimar
Leaning against a tree, Miles rubs his midsection where the dinosaur jammed its long beak right into his gut, apparently trying to disembowel him. Even in the dark storm he tries to look in the direction of where he though the nest was, training his ears through the sound of the storm to see if he can hear something...
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Viata d'Foc
"Hmm, yes yes, these are poisonous creatures. Quite worrisome. Is anyone skilled at poisons? We may need to check Miles for the venom. On the other hand the meat is edible, but we must be careful because of the poison. It may contaminate the meat. I don't know how well it would taste though. Should we try to take it back with us?"
Grimma Fireforge
May be we can salvage some of the poison ?
When the others looked at her she added
To create an antitoxine of course !
GM survival ? heal ? handle animal ? to take the away poison and cooked the meat.
Grimma Fireforge
Looking at the beheaded corps, Grimma said
I think the best thing is to take it with us to the camp. At the camp we will be in much better condition to take care of the thing, meat or antitoxine.
May be one of the other survivor could help us doing it right ?
Viata d'Foc
"Good idea, Grimma! Hmm, it will probably be heavy, yes. Perhaps we can use the canvas from the boat to help carry it."
take the corpse and head back?
GMEDWIN
The influx of rain makes the terrain a little bit more difficult walk but about an hour and half later you finally trudge in around 2200 as the stops. Over the beach you can see the waves crashing on the shores of Smuggler’s Shiv become infused with an eerie greenish radiance, almost as if the surf were glowing.
DC 20 Knowledge (nature)
this eerie occurrence is a natural phenomenon caused by
phosphorescent algae and plankton in the water.
Viata d'Foc
"Oh my, so pretty!" Viata stops and stares for a moment, taking in the sight. "I must say, it's just the algae and plankton in the water causing it, but still, it looks so mysterious, and a bit frightening in it's own way, yes?"
Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Miles of Magnimar
Miles might appreciate the beauty of the phytoplankton more if not for the fact that he was wounded by a dinosaur and was now dragging its corpse on a canvas, drenched in rain, hungry and sore all over. His life in Magnimar had mostly been waiting for the next job to come along at which point he would wait until the sun went down and then take his sweet time breaking down barriers between some poor sap's coffers and a Scarzini payout. Even when he left and was on the ship, it was a bit of manual labor through the day to keep things clean and running efficiently. But out here, the constant walking, climbing, sweating was not sitting well with him. Though he did not complain at all, he was still unaccustomed, and just looks at the glowing water with weary eyes and looks forward to getting back to camp.
Hoping all the while that the camp and all of its occupants are still there.
Grimma Fireforge
We can say yes
Said with a smile Grimma.
We kill a creature ! Wich could be our meal for dinner, and found some canva to protect the camp from the sun or the rain.
The only problem for the meat his it's poisonous... I would like to make an antitoxine from the animal in case we meet again one of these beast and cut the poisonous bladder without tainted it.
Did one of you know something in antitoxine or how to remove bladders ?
Asked grimma hopping to see one of the other survivors took the bait.
Miles of Magnimar
"I thought you had no interest in doing watch, Gelik," Miles observes, but he is too beat to argue. "Give me just three hours of shuteye and I'll take over. Long day, long day. Long...day..."
He breathes in deep and exhales, closing his eyes and lying down with his back against a tree.
Gelik Aberwhinge aka GM
Gelik looks at Finn with a scolding eye, "Can't you see the man is sleeping?" he smirks at Miles and says, "With the others absolutely unwilling to lift a finger, I figured I would take 'the until you guys returned' shift which I figured would be ending no later than in an hour... "
He then looks at Grimma and says, "Beats me, I am a master of the comedial arts my dwarfen friend..."
Viata d'Foc
As Viata prepares herself and Yana to rest in the makeshift shelter, she asks Gelik another question quietly, "How is Aerys handling things? She was very scary today, rummaging through things. I worry what she may do as time goes on, yes."
GMEDWIN
Gelik responds, "She seemed to be in ill temper all day... it has been a bit rough on everyone I guess."
Gelik continues his joke, "The Queen of Janderhoff was approached by a human living in her lands who seemed to have a crush on the dwarven Queen. He offered her a bag of gold coins for the lady's pleasure. Now as you know dwarves being dwarves and all, she wanted to inspect these gold coins herself. She took a gold coin from her bag and put in her mouth... the man saw what was going to happened and screamed wait... do you know why????? because the gold coins were chocolate wrapped in gold paper and when she bit down to verify that it was indeed gold she crushed the chocolate and lost a canine."
You make you ways to bed with Gelik taking the first watch and then You each take your turns in order.

the Jenivere, bent over the railing being seasick. After your
latest bout of retching, you slump back and see the rest of
the passengers and crew are on deck as well, all of them sick
save for the captain and the quiet Varisian scholar Ieana.
She whispers in the captain’s ear, then gives him a kiss
on the cheek. At that point the captain holds up a wooden
soup spoon, and you realize that you’re holding one as well.
Everyone has a spoon. The ship is sinking, and the only
way to stop it is to bail out the hold with your spoon! You
work feverishly, but the waters keep rushing in. Just before
you wake, you can see monstrous things with pincers in the
water trying to claw their way into the ship...
Grimma Fireforge
During the night, Grimma was like murmuring then she woke up sudently in the morning, looking for a spoon !
In Ylimancha's name ! It was so real...
Sweeting from her bad dream she looked for the other. When she saw Sasha she try to do something about her.
Sasha like the last day, try to help Sasha fighting her fear. Talking to her, trying to involve her in some of the daily task
Miles of Magnimar
Three hours later, Miles is up to perform an uneventful watch, and afterwards sleeps until sometime after sunrise, when the noise in the encampment creeps into his blissfully dreamless rest. First, he uses whatever water they have to rinse his mouth out, and then checks himself for any little bugs or creepy crawlies that might have gotten onto or, worse, into his clothing and boots overnight. Satisfied, he unpacks the coconuts he and Grimma had gathered from the tree and tosses a couple towards Aerys.
"We found some coconut trees yesterday and I thought of you. Just be careful not to crack each coconut and pour the milk all together. If one of 'em is bad, you'll pollute the whole mix."
He also lays out the canvas and the chain that they found, as well as looking over the dinosaur they killed.
Survival: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 to see if he can successfully cut that meat out without breaking the poison sacs and ruining the whole thing.
GMEDWIN
I don't know how diplomacy can work with alcoholism... but if you want to try you need to RP it...
Sasha walks over to see the dinosaur and then sees it and is disgusted and hrrmpphs off.
Gelik wakes up and he looks a bit out of it but seems ok, "Morning troop!!!"
Ichirou seems to be minding his own business.
Jask looks fresh and ready to help.
GM rolls
Grimma Fireforge
Seeing the poor state of Sasha, Grimma tried to help her.
First, she create water to help her wash and began to tell her the story of the "capture" of the creature.
She tell her that they found a "nest" and when the dinosaur tried to bite her she throw her axe in its head, severing it.
Then she tell the story of the coconut tree where Miles and her tried to climb on the top of it to see the island.
And at last, she tried to know what Sasha can do. Looking for food ? Drawing a map ? In the hopes of including her in day to day business.
Grimma regulary spoke of her own experiences - when she was lost alone in the jungle, fleeing strange creatures - to cheer her up as she tried the morning befoire.
Take 10 on diplomacy => 13
She said to the others
I think I will stay here today and help Sasha recover.
Morning Gelik ! answered it to the gnome
Viata d'Foc
"Perhaps we all spend day here today? We can help fix up campsite while Miles prepares the dinosaur. I'm sure Gelik can tells stories, and Yana is very clever when he wants to be." She looks about the camp and sees Ishirou sitting alone. "Ishirou, why don't we see if we can't find something nearby to eat too, maybe some fish, or more coconuts!"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (16) + 0 = 16
Grimma Fireforge
Oh yes, you're right Finn ! I almost forget !
Her nightmare made her forgot the most important thing they discovered ! The tracks of the Captain and Iadora !
Ah... yes Gelik, thanks a lot ! I will eat something with great pleasure !
Then, Grimma looked worried at Sasha, trying to find something to help her
Sense Motive (finding something to help Sasha: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
