With that said, since we are losing our primary ranged attacker, I want to get all of your thoughts on whether you feel we should proceed or look for another player. Let me know what you think.
As much as I'd like to leave it open for Cedric to return to, I'd also like to give another person that did the recruitment a chance to join us.
I'm cool for finding another player, maybe contacting someone who went through the recruitment with us.

I was thinking I could meet the group at the start of the boar hunt. Marvin does have some experience as a guide and tracker, so it would make sense for him to be another of Foxglove's invitees - maybe having helped chase off goblins on the other side of town.

Hi Marvin! Ooh, Monster Tacticians are fun! I played one in a 3-module series a while back. I'm a big fan of any flavor of monster summoner. It's especially neat stuff when they get your teamwork feats.

Great! I've never really played with a summoning focus before, so I'm looking forward to the experience. I'll jump in as soon as it makes sense.
@Marvin I was also planning on taking the main Summon Monster feats because I have tons of experience playing with Summon Monster in my in-person games. Like, I LOVE playing monster summoners and I'm very familiar with all the summons at every level. I may rethink my focus/feat progression now. I don't want to step on yours or anyone's toes but LMK if you need Summon Monster advice.

Totally okay, GM. I've been spending much of my free time learning and playtesting Pathfinder 2 with one of my local groups lately.
Just to note, posting still seems kind of borked. However, it appears if you make a post with just an X and then edit the post with what you actually wanted it will post correctly.

Just to note, I am waiting until at least 9/3 to ensure the forums maintain stability before moving us forward.
The same thing keeps happening to me. Every time I try to post the website is down again. I'll try to get a post in before tomorrow. Should post well before 9/3 unless forums go crazy again.

If we need to ever look at using it for backup gameplay I can create additional channels and the like, but for now it is a just in case of emergency thing. :)

@All Wanted to wait awhile before posting this since the forums were having issues for so long. However, now that things appear to have stabilized on that end, I am hoping we can work on getting back to a minimum once/day (excluding weekends) posting routine again. Let me know your thoughts.

@GM I intend to get back to 1/day minimum. I’ve had less free time at work recently than usual; just trying to finish a big project. But I’ll do better about finding time outside of work hours if I’m not able to update during the day.
Hey there everyone. I'm so sorry for the terrible silence over on my end here, I usually pride myself on my communication skills. This past week though has been probably one of the hardest weeks I've had and been a huge eye-opener for me about the state of my mental health. For that reason, I've decided that I'm going to back off away from online gaming at the moment and focus on taking care of myself.
It has been an absolute pleasure to play and I apologize for the inconvenience of all of this. With that said though, I think it'd be best for me to resign, maintain good relationships with folks, and maybe try coming back once everything is figured out. Thank you guys for having me and I do hope your adventuring goes superbly.

With Krios leaving and the slowdown in posting from everyone after the whole debacle with the forums, I wanted to have a serious conversation. Let me start out by saying, I prefer not to be a rail-roady GM. I really prefer a collaborative process between myself and the players. IE I much rather give hooks and you take the initiative to chase them rather than just leading you along the whole way. It is difficult to maintain such collaboration though when there are such large gaps in posting. I know this game has had it's issues (losing a player really early, the forums blowing up for about a month, and now losing another player). However, Krios was one of the more active posters so I worry that with losing him things may slow down even more. Keep in mind, these PbP games are generally a multi-year commitment with routine posting, at the pace we are going it is going to take even longer and I worry there will be continued player attrition.
Just as a point of reference, I am running another game that I started about 1 month before this one and it has over twice as many posts and they are closing in on the end of the first book where as we are maybe only about a quarter of the way through the first book on our side. So with all that in mind, before I go looking for a replacement for this game I would like everyone to seriously consider your commitment to this and help me decide whether we should keep this going. Please just give me your honest thoughts.
