Toorin does pew pew against Vondrella, who frowns in anger in return.
She points at Toorin; "Kill the elf!"
The cultists hurries up over to the wizard.
Stabbity: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13Sting: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Good thing Toorin drank his MA potion.

Dmg, inspire, RAGE!: 1d10 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 15
Brallenera walks toward the cultist casually, her axe in hand.
The axe rises, falls and cuts deeply into the cultist, as the blonde weapon of massive destruction adds insult to the injury.
Why don't ya take on someone who knows how to fight?
She looks at Vondrella, and seems pretty angry.
So you think it was a great plan to poison the whole town while you were hiding in the forest, and wait until the fey and the human kill each other? That was a good plan, I admit. It could have worked. Unfortunatly, as with every plan, sometimes something wrong happens, and you made a mistake.
She lets the anger rises and screams at the top of her voice
YOU TRIED TO POISON MY PONYCORN! I'LL KILL YA FOR THAT! LEAVE HER TO ME!
Will charge Vondrella next round

GM Chyro |

What if the cultist had 20 armor? ^^
What Brallenera envisioned, happens, as the axe ends up in the cultist's chest and he drops to the ground, leaving her axe bloodied.
The zombie shuffles around the table.

Think that'll be enough to know to use slashing weapons instead of my rapier.
Joseph draws his sickle and moves up close behind Toorin
"Lets cut the wheat from the chaff." he sneers with the blade up and ready.

GM Chyro |

You recognize some signs of the zombie to be similar to the description of a Plague Zombie.
This particular sort explodes, much like the zombie wolves, spreading whatever disease festers within their bodies.
Aka: walking disease-bomb.
Joseph comes closer to support Toorin.

Kravg double moves around the table to threaten the necromancer.
"Ah ah ah. It's not nice to raise the dead. Didn't your mother teach you better? Or is that corpse your momma?"
Kravvg says as he menacingly holds his sickle-end of his kusarigama in hand, and dangles the ball end in the other.

Toorin grits his teeth and sprints past the shambling zombie, knowing it will try to slash at him as he goes by, in order get a clear shot at the leader, with a Snow Ball.

*Ruuuuh?*
Brallenera cuts off half the zombie's head in a fit of artistic rage.
Combat over.
The other feast attendees have fled into the woods, its leader having been taken down.
The strange basin stands on the table.

![]() |
well that went better than I expected, may have to spend a while looking for those two arrows in the woods, that basin is truly odd is that what they were talking about? Turning to Toorin, "I agree we may want to take our necromancer alive, but ware the basin on the table till we sort out what it is." Ala'Ihys takes a moment to concentrate on the basin to determine if it is evil in nature, or if it has just been used for evil.
Detect Evil ;)

GM Chyro |

A vibe of evil magics does come off the basin, evil magics used in its creation long ago linger still.

![]() |
Frowning at the basin, Ala'Ihys calls out, "Beware my friends that basin 'vibrates' of evil, clearly the evil magics used in its creation long ago linger still." Turning to Toorin and then Brallenera "Toorin do you know about destroying such things? Will Brallenera's axe do the job or does this sort of evil magical item need to be melted down in the fires that forged it? Or is that just a tale told by old men?"
Looking at the fallen necromancer and then Kravg, Ala'Ihys asks "Kravg could you drag her away from the basin, it may enhance or even be the cause of her powers, we truly do not know the extent of it's influence!"

![]() |

Awww, can we move the basin? Maybe the Pathfinders would be interested?Or is it too dangerous? If the humans learn about it, they will try to get it, and starts another war with the feys, I guess.

GM Chyro |

or does this sort of evil magical item need to be melted down in the fires that forged it? Or is that just a tale told by old men?
Only in the case of evil jewelry.
Edit: In the briefing, the VC did ask for you to
![]() |

"Certainly Ala'Ihys. Keeping her from the basin will be my pleasure."
Kravg hauls the unconscious necromancer onto his shoulder and walks down south towards the trees.
"Will we hand her over to the Society as well? She might be a useful source of information perhaps."

GM Chyro |

It has necromantic magics of an unknown pattern.
You get no clear results, unfortunately.

![]() |

Next Toorin turns his attention on the woman, to see if she has any magic items on her. "If she's smart, she's got a potion of remove disease for this malady on her, in case she contracts it. Or perhaps she has a spell book or notebook with information on how she crafted the plague."

GM Chyro |

I guess so, there's not been saying otherwise when i used heal skill that way. But, she's not been stabilized yet, has she. Between talking, i reckon she's bled 2 hp.

![]() |
Ala'Ihys asks Kravg, "I'm going to attempt to stop the bleeding, please stay close, if it revives her I may need your help with her. Once I stabilize her we will tie her up and question her." Ala'Ihys reaches down and whispers"Dawn Flower help her show here the error of her ways"
lay on of hands: 1d6 ⇒ 1 yuck, that will stabilize her right?

GM Chyro |

Yes it will. :)
I guess Sarenrae didn't want to channel too much grace just now.

![]() |
Seeing that the necromancer was out of danger of dying,we need to take precautions before we wake her. Ala'Ihys tieds her hands and checks her person for anything of value, "Let us secure her properly then see what she carries before we awaken her."
Ala'Ihys will take 20 on perception to "frisk" her, just short of a cavity search. If we have to go that far Brallenera will have to do that, he does have some modesty.

GM Chyro |

Wouldn't want you to fall for accidental groping, now would we ;).
You find on her a potion of remove disease and a ring of protection +1

![]() |
was waiting to see if anyone else wanted to jump in
Confident that he has the necromancer well tied, the asks his deity to bring her back to consciousness so they can question her Sarenrae, let your healing mercy draw her to the light.
lay on of hands: 1d6 ⇒ 6 That's better
As the necromancer begins to awaken Ala'Ihys draws his scimitar and places it on her neck and leaning down tells her. "the Dawn flower has spared you to give you the opportunity to repent. Do not cause mischief. I will not allow you to endanger these pathfinders, your life will be forfeit." not taking his eyes or his scimitar off of the woman he tells Toorin "Let us ask our questions."

GM Chyro |

Ala'Ihys' LOA brings Vondrella to only just.
She glares at the paladin, before looking away.
"I have nothing to say to you."

![]() |
Ala'Ihys slips the ring on temporarily and pockets the potion. Dragging the woman to her feet, scimitar held behind her. "That is your choice, we will take you back to give and account of your actions. Asking the group, "Do you think it is safe to take the basin back to the fey? Also should we check the table and the area for any other clues? I do not believe I will get any more information from this one, though the fey may be able to."

GM Chyro |

An interesting approach.
If the party checks the table, they see nothing aside from raw meat, wine and the despicable firebloom.
1d4 ⇒ 2

![]() |

Joseph looks over the woman curiously
"I have a question." he asks softly for a moment before there is a familiar glint in his eye "If I were to cut off your arm, could you animate it with you magic? Maybe even strangle yourself with it?"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Seeing his threats hit nowhere he sighs
"She's a tough one, but I think taking her to the fey will be the best. She probably fears them more than the townsfolk." he states, having no love for this necromancer.

GM Chyro |

Yup Joseph, she's not impressed in the slightest.
Vondrella says nothing.
So the general idea is to deliver her to the mercy of the fey?
Quite frankly, i find it hard to see mercy stemming from current sentiment, hehe.

![]() |

Brallenera looks at the table, still angry at the fact she couldn't avenge her Ponycorn, mumbling.
Awww, why can't I get a more heroic part in these fights? Why are our foes so weak?

GM Chyro |

Isn't avenging done when the one being avenged is dead?
Ponycorn is pretty much alive and kicking, as i recall ;)

![]() |
as for the ponycorn we can give it the potion of remove disease, as for Brallenera's heroics
Turning to Joseph, Ala'Ihys gives him a dirty look, as he speaks of mutilation. Still watching to see if Joseph intends to actually accost the prisoner Ala'Ihys responds. "The Fey's understanding of magic will help us the most with the basin; and they are nearest. My desire is to he in the company of that basin." pointing back to the table. "And this woman as short a time as possible. Anyway the Fey have a court, as well as the humans, and I believe the verdict and punishment will be the same either way."
Moving the prisoner away from Joseph. Ala'Ihys turns to Brallenera, sympathy in his eyes, "Sometimes the heroic thing takes on a different task. Which would include gathering up that evil Basin." Looking from Joseph then back to Brallenera Ala'Ihys continues. "I do not trust that basin. If it has the ability to effect people we want someone who's heart is pure. I realize you do not view mans laws as I do but you are kindhearted, and that would be difficult for this thing to affect." looking quickly at Joseph and then away. "Where as others may have difficulty resisting its temptation."

GM Chyro |

Erm, the ponycorn and Kravg's horse got cured by passing 2 saves.

![]() |

If I'm not cured by the morning, I'd like to take a sip.
Kravg looks at the Basin, then looks at Ala'Ihys and shakes his head.
"Ddin't the Venture Captain say that we should bring back the Basin to them for further study? I could carry it with us to him. I'd find it hard to beleive there are not those among the fey who could abuse its power. Among fey, there are also those unpure of heart and mind. Not everyone has the discipline to resist temptations of power."

GM Chyro |

Well, in that case..
The group ties up Vondrella and uses joined effort, after destroying the tables and sheets, to craft a crude wooden container for the basin.
Unfortunately, there is yet no known route to the fey court.
Late in the evening, you come back to Falcon's Hollow, to your surprise you also see a bonfire where upon lie 4 humanoid figures burning.
Laurel will help Kravg & Toorin before you tuck n for the night.Use the +4 well ;)
Kravg needs 1 more successful save.
I think Toorin does too.

GM Chyro |

For the next morning:
Cha dmg: 1d2 ⇒ 2 Con dmg: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Kravg is has become as charismatic as a rock.
His con is only slightly better.
That's between the two of you if Toorin fails.
I'd say go for it.

![]() |
odd, I had a post agreeing with Kravg, either I didn't save it properly or it was eaten. Of course Kravg can use the potion, didn't realize the and Toorin were not out of the woods yet.
Upon reaching the village they go directly to Laurel's house Ala'Ihys asks "Laurel, have we found out anymore about the virus and who are the four that died?" I hope it was the cultists instead of viliagers
I assume we will talk to the villagers and the lumber consortium in the morning, team should we need to talk to the Fey again to update them?

GM Chyro |

Yup, the cultists and gardeners have been burnt.
By fire be purged!
Atm, the way to the fey could be given by either Laurel, or a rather high perception check, as fey are experts in hiding in their own mystical woods.
Laurel: "Somehow, the townsfolk found out about the 4 captives being responsible for spreading the disease.
With pitchforks and other pole tools, they rounded them and put them to the fire. While i'm not in favor of such brash actions, i cannot hold it against them."
