Harboth Redacre
|
Question: is Harboth free from paralysis early enough that he can take a Slam AOO against the biter? I think my initiative beats his, which I think means that Harboth is able to move when the Biter moves. I could be wrong about all this, but am I?
Harboth drops his longbow behind him at F2 (free action), draws his greataxe (move action), grins in admiration at the cool thing he can use to smash stuff (swift action), and takes a big whack at that nasty biting thing.
NO bite fun talky man!
attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 = 10

Ander drops his pack and drawing his rapier, imbues it arcane energy. He stalks toward the thing with the breastplate and slashes at it with his blade.
Move to G8, expend 1 pt of arcane pool and attack with rapier.

Playing around with fomatting a little; lemme know what you guys think works and doesn't work.
---
The lack of blood and no response from the still somewhat successful jab clearly displays it's negated effect against his target.
Are you counting Bardic Performance's +1 to hit and damage, not that it matters on that attack.
---
Hmm, I guess so. Go ahead with the AoO.
| GM Burglar |
17 misses, but 18 hits. GG, Taldor. Be sure to add the +1 to damage as well (I think.)
Harboth cracks a few bones with his AoO slam that the DM forgot about!
Also, my posts are mostly me acknowledging that I have brain-compiled all the posts. If you want to describe stuff different, feel free.
Urthain Shardspear

Ur moves up behind Ander and fires another blast of flame around him.
Ranged touch Vs G7 undead: 1d20 + 2 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 - 4 = 3+1 Taldan Inspiration :) -4 firing into melee.

Ander circles around and goes at the armored creature again, stabbing at it with what is proving to be his impotent rapier. Kyo, grab that club and smash this thing! He yells.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4

Kyo moves up, but does not connect through the creature's armour!

The Osiriani individual steps up to G4 and begins to lay into the two foes around him, starting with the talkative one!

I wish I were fixing these dice rolls.
Chelsea's turn! I have Ander's action queued up, but feel free to update if need be.

Chelsea swings and misses!
---
Ander steps up behind the Armoured creature, to flank with Kyo. Which thanks to the momentary aid (+2 from Flank), he connects. Unfortunately, it merely pokes a hole that the creature's meat that it doesn't seem to notice.

Harboth, Urthain are next!
| GM Burglar |
Sorry, didn't mean to jump the gun, that's what I get for not fully reading GM post. That and sometimes get eager to use impotent, litttle pokey thing.
No problem; I can sort stuff out so it goes faster. Today looks like a "Actually Do Work" day, so probably gonna go slow, if at all.
Harboth Redacre

Harboth instinctively steps around the biting bad guy to H4 and roars savagely before swinging a cold iron blade of (re-)death its way.

He bites Harboth to try to paralyze him again, to no avail! In retrospect, it may have been a better idea to get stuck since he continues swinging with his first claw attack (which connects directly into a previous wound. After the half-orc goes down, he steps over to Hiram to continue his full attack on the bard.
Harboth can attempt to stabilize twice. He gets a free attempt when he goes down and doesn't lose 1 HP if he fails. Then, on his turn, he will try again and lose 1 hp if he fails again.

Ander, Harboth (See Above), Urthain!
Hiram Kell
|
Hiram, seeing the gallant if slightly bestial half-orc go down, attempts to tumble to F-2, drawing his wand of Cure Light Wounds as he goes and activating it to heal Harboth! Throughout the entire process he continues the tale of Squire Melkor, the Young Taldan Who Could.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 vs CMD

Kyoshiro Nemuri

Kyo, did you count Bard Song and Enhanced Strength? I think you didn't, since your page says +6 is your regular to-hit. Taldor, once again, makes ALL the difference.
+1 bab, + 4 STR, +1 mw katana, +1 weapon focus. You are right... should be +8. Damage remains at +7 however... Did I hit?
Urthain Shardspear

Urthain step closer to Hiram and activates his wand tapping the bard before he tumbles away.

Before the creature can resume its attack, Hiram heals the Half-Orc again, hoping to see him up and attacking, since a whip and rapier do not seem to do much against these things. He continues the tale of Squire Melkor, now moving onto to the Song of Melkor and Gertheim.
CLW!: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

By my math, Haboth was at 11-16 = -5, then was healed for 3 by Hiram, healed for something more by Ander, then healed again for 2 by Hiram, so I should be conscious, albeit prone.
Question: Harboth is prone. Do we think he can roll away (acrobatics check) without provoking an AoO? If not, I'll just kill from the floor; it's all good as long as the steel (or cold iron in this case) is flying.
| GM Burglar |
Normally, moving 5 feet while prone is a full-round action that provokes (unless you have the only legal feat from the Faction Guide or are a rogue with the specific Rogue Talent for it.) One also drops held items when going unconscious, which means using your axe from earlier would require being picking it up off the ground (which is a Move-Equivalent that provokes.) If you have any backup weapons (I see a kukri on your sheet), drawing a weapon is a move-equivalent that doesn't provoke, and that would leave you a standard to attack.

Positive Energy would hurt it. Ur (or anyone with a CLW wand/spell) would need to either cast the spell or use their wand to get a charge of the spell ready to touch the zombie. They get a free touch if they're next to them when they cast their spell/activate their wand, which provokes or does not provoke accordingly. If they do touch the zombie (which looks a lot easier to do that hitting it with a sword), it would then make a Will save (+3) for half damage, applying it's Channel Resistance (+4) as a bonus to the roll.
