Work is actually a little busy with me getting 75+ desktops and laptops shipped out for charity. Didn't see any new posts for Kyo, though I'm often wrong.

Kyoshiro Nemuri

Kyoshiro attacks the creature two handed style again, snarling as he does so.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Confirmation?
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

The Osirion that nobody can quite identify says some stuff and attempts to lay into the Taldan again!
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 41d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 71d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Hiram Fort vs Paralysis: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Hiram is paralyzed for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 rounds!

Ander, Urthain, Hiram, Harboth, Kyoshiro!
Kyoshiro Nemuri

Kyoshiro's next move will be ON TOP OF/THROUGH the case/shelves seperating me from the enemy... hooting and growling all the way.
Harboth Redacre
|
Harboth, still on the ground but now conscious, pulls his kukri and takes a swipe at the thing's leg.
His Hyuaaa! seems a touch less savage than before.
attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 6 - 4 = 22 did not add mod for bardic inspiration due to bard paralysis.
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
confirm: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 6 - 4 = 8
additional damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
He yells to those still on their feet, Surround it, dammit!
Urthain Shardspear
|
Urthain summons another bolt of white flame over his open palm and sends it at the Osirion undead.
Ranged touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 2 - 4 = 17
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Combat End! Though the Bard will continue to be paralyzed for 18 more seconds.
Ander Jotum
|
Ander walks over to Hiram and uses his wand to heal the bard. (While he is paralyzed so he can't protest) Ander moves on and uses it on Harboth one more time. The magus then replaces the wand in its wrist sheath and proceeds to reset the spring mechanism. Ander then begins to search the room and coffins.
WoIH-4/50 chrgs used
Harboth Redacre
|
By my math, that means Harboth is back to 100% [11-16(nasty undead)+3(CLW from Hiram)+10(WoIH)+2(CLW #2 from Hiram)+10(WoIH again)]
Harboth struggles to his feet and gives the ghoul a good kick. He then stretches to his full height and begins picking up his weapons from around the room.
As he does so, he offers to Ander and to the stuck bard, Thank you for the healing, friends. I really need a way to stop getting knocked out.... say, did anyone else feel funny after breathing that mist?
| GM Burglar |
@All: The Armoured man has his equipment He has a breastplate, a scimitar that is exquisitely shiny, and heavy steel shield (not nearly as shiny.) The club-wielding gentleman had his club and a leather loincloth.
What's our Spellcraft folks' Spellcraft right now, or are we flying Big Dumb Fighter Style?
Kyoshiro Nemuri
|
Kyoshiro sits on the floor trying to think through the haze... he remembered that 'bad things' happened to people coming here and that he had bought 'something' to help.
He starts pawing through his pack.
Ander Jotum
|
Ander has +10 Spellcraft to investigate magical properties
Ander nods to Harboth. Yes you three, he nods to Kyo and Chelsea. appear to have been afflicted by the mists. You became very ape-like. It seems once you become unconscious the mist leaces the your body. Before we were attacked, I mentioned that I had a spell that should make the other become knocked out for a few moments. I had hoped to save it for anything we may encounter, but it would seem prudent to have our companions back to normal.
Can Kyo and Chelsae willingly fail their saves?
Harboth Redacre
|
Interesting. Kyoshiro and Chelsea both look....willing? Up to it? I would think that our sorceress would be especially helped by not being ape-like. It kinda - here he waves his hand around his head in a big loop - fogs things up.
Harboth then has a close look at the dead dudes' gear before wandering about the room looking for interesting and shiny objects.
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Ander Jotum

Ander shrugs his shoulders and turns to the coherent part of the group I've decided to knock these two out for moment. He goes and grabs the glowing ball and hands it Ur. Ur, stand behind me and hold this ball in the air to get their attention and make them look toward me. Everyone else stand behind me unless you want to take a little nap. Ander begins chanting some arcane gibberish and points his outstretched fingers at Kyo and Chelsea. A cone of dazzling multicolored light springs from his hand, washing over Kyo and Chelsea.
And... Color Spray their monkey brains
| GM Burglar |
You lure your more ape-like companions into Ander's cone radius with shiny, shiny objects.
Chelsea is unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round.
Kyo is unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round.
| GM Burglar |
You kids and your "Spellcraft." Back in my day, all we had was a Summoner, and he was pretty awful at almost everything! We simply took our foes, pinned them down, and greatsworded them to death, curses and negative energy be damned!
Ander: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Ander: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26 More than enough for each item.
Kyoshiro Nemuri
|
Well - that was an experience, says a restored Kyoshiro.
I had a scroll of Protection from Evil and Remove Curse here all along - we had a big discussion on that before we left. Not sure if it was forgotten in the confusion or not.
Kyoshiro Nemuri
|
Kyoshiro rises and looks around the room.
Look like we are finished here
Harboth Redacre
|
Having recovered his things, Harboth begins to move cautiously toward the office. Everyone ready? If so, let's check this out. He pauses to grin - and breathe shallow.
| GM Burglar |
What's your order in? The map you were given at the beginning is accurate as 5 ft to 1 square.
