I played this once before, and we never made it in, before the game fell apart. I have no idea what is beyond the hall way.

Yeah the false entrance thing is pretty bad it is something you don't really expect especially 2 of them.

I've never played the AP, and honestly, I'm more than half tempted to just toss out the riddle. It's probably more harmful than helpful. If its even helpful at all.

Zoren: If you remember from your arcana checks that teleportation and like effects are likely not going to work as planned.
That "Thwhip" sound was a teleportation effect only much more advanced i.e. unique spell. It is caused by warping space and thus does not allow saves, SR or even effects such as Dimensional Anchor.
I figured I'd just tell you so that don't get answers like, "Well it is but it isn't" That would be frustrating to me.

Before I Metagame, would Zoren assume the place would be proofed versus teleportation? I think he may place the sword in the room assuming it was going to come back but his experience in the prison may have given him insight that the strategy may not always work.

Well you know from your research that Acercerak mastered the art of not only weaving planes such as The Abyss to the material plane, but could also interweave demi-planes within these so teleportation and like effects could work differently.

You can post in my Discussion thread for my Vamp game, it has 13 players, one may well be interested. Same thing with my Hour of the Knife game though it only has 5 players. Still of 18 people one will be bound to want to play the Tomb of Horrors!

Hi Alessandro, We need a melee, although dont feel the need to make a fighter/barb. there are long periods without any combat. So having something else to do would be helpful and will keep you engaged.

I'm at a 22 AC, and I've got a longspear that I can threaten with without putting myself directly in harm's way as well. So I can be a flanking buddy. :)
