Marika sees everything going on out in the courtyard leading up to the casting of the spell and lets out a yell of surprise, gathering more lightning into her hands to blast the thug blocking her path...
More Lightning Blast (Touch): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Don't think that actually can critical, but hey, rolling will speed things up.
Crit Threat (Touch): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Crit Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Fel, in PbP where players can be located in wildly varying timezones it's impractical to enforce pose order by initiative, so it's customary to declare your actions when you have time and count on the GM to arrange them in order rather than delay your pose for eighteen hours just because someone three hours downwind had higher initiative than you.
| Dungeon Master S |
I'll post more when I get a o a computer. Yes, they can fruit, but that doesn't confirm. Actually, I appreciate Fel's post as it makes it easier for me to keep things organized. It's like having someone else check your math.

Shoot Short Bow aid another Sigrun: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 for 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3 damage.
Ooc - I'm not sure of the map and positioning because I only have phone access until tonight so someone please move Fel to be able to shoot. Thx.

Shoot Short Bow aid another Sigrun: 1d20+5 for 1d6-1 damage.
I'm pretty sure you've forgotten to factor in the +1 tohit/damage from inspire courage and another +1 tohit from Bless, so that'd be 16 on the tohit roll and 4 damage
| Dungeon Master S |
Marika's bolt catches the thug unaware and chars him severely. Fel, you don't have Precise Shot, so I'll have you target the Southern roof thug, keeping your hit.

Kageko grits her teeth against the burning pain and keeps her mind on the fight. Giving the priestess so much as a moment to recover could very well be a fatal mistake, so she keeps the woman pinned between herself and Sigrun as she lashes out with another strike...
Attack, +1 bless +1 inspire courage +2 flank: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 23
Damage,+1 inspire: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11
Sneak Attack damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
15 damage in total

Round 3 Update
Chusynd, you can see that the gate is barred (from this side). You can make an escape now, but it'll take a precious, and dangerous, few seconds to get the door open. FORT: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13. Khamul hits the woman with a ray that immediately turns her a pale shade of green. As the woman leans forward to wretch, Kageko comes up with a slash to the chest that causes her to stumble, but when Sigrun adds her axe, the woman's innards become her outtards. She slumps to the ground, motionless.
The thugs, upon seeing their leader slain demonstratively, throw down arms and surrender, begging mercy.

Sigrun: Axes the priestess a final question

Kageko

Kageko's outer clothes are scorched and there is a distinct scent of burning flesh hanging around her. "... Much as I'd love to either say something impressive about having been hurt worse... I do not believe I have, Milady," she admits, grimacing as she cleans her blade on Ahendile's outer clothes.
"But I am functional, and I feel it would be healthier for all concerned if we leave as quickly as possible, and have my injuries seen to once we're back on the ship and safely on our way."
Marika Vanhannen
|
"...right." Regaining her composure she shouts at the surrendering guards "On your knees, hands in the air. Someone look for something to tie them up with. I'll steal a blanket or something for...erm...her." She nods to the body. "We'll toss it overboard once we reach the border. It won't be pleasant unless someone has a way to preserve a corpse..." She glances at Khamul.
Khamûl Unqualë

Gah, I shouldn't have used my bonded item spell already! If we take it with I can use decompose corpse on it tomorrow and nothing but bones will be left. Less evidence that way.
"Bring it with. I think I can deal with it." Khamul helps load the bloody corpse up onto the ship.
| Dungeon Master S |
At this the women come out of the common building, hands up, eager to surrender. There's plenty of rope for the tying.
Sigrun Wolfrunner
|
Sigrun will go through the business of tying up those involved, although she hesitates when it comes to the innkeep and her staff.
"Look. So long as you ladies don't let slip what happened today, and maybe get rid of the torture dungeon beneath your stables, I can turn a blind eye to your involvement. I suggest not gettin' involved with corrupt Razmirani officials in the future though."
Depending on their reactions to that, she may or may not tie them up as well.
Sig's most interested in talking to the priestess' lackeys, though.
"What was going on here, anyway? Why'd you capture some innocent dwarven envoys?"
| Dungeon Master S |
The women are clearly scared of the thugs, though some of their fear is abated by the "cleric's" scorched remains. "It's just, it's just. Well, it's the Razmiran way. We didn't mean anything by it, just looking out for our own necks!"
| Michael Carenae |
"... I can't say I'm much impressed by the Razmiran way so far," Kageko opines, still moving somewhat gingerly and clearly favoring her unburned side. "Did your 'Holy Ahendile' give any sort of justification why she wanted these people detained and tortured?"
| Dungeon Master S |
When the emissaries are returned to the ship, it's mission accomplished. The Pathfinder Societies people, and interests, have been maintained. By slaying the "cleric" in charge and recovering the items secreted away for future scrying, you've furthermore protected the Society from future targeting of these dwarves.
Well done.

We didn't just slay her. Khamul reduced her to bones the next day and we scattered them down the Glass River.
Thanks everyone! I had a good time! Thanks again to the GM!
