Yeah, last I checked, a glowing Chainsaw blade is not a light or one-handed weapon. I could care less about the weapon she has. You also take penalties for attacking your attacker, I just happen to use Str so it often balances out.

The half orc's bullets puncture the ooze, letting out a aged stench, before its fleshy sacs start to regenerate.

The blob decides to swing at Yvell again, contorting and twisting its body in an undulating wave.

Is the map current, or is the android in another location? I need to know if I can act in time to prevent movement or not.


The android female is pressed up next to the blob. Her hand is in a pack at her side, and she has not pulled something out.

Forgot to move her on the map.

Juxt's shots obliterate the blob, puncturing it with arrows that pierce its gelatinous mass. The holes try to repair, but are not fast enough, before the monster deflates and leaves behind a pile of goo.

Valtyra's spell does not stop the android from moving towards the party.

Im not actually sure what the best CMB here is so whatever allows Yvell to do it assume its that.

Yvell sighs, " Just like Meyanda... " before he rushes forward to.. stop this deranded android from doing whatever she had planned, suicide or no. Calling on the power of his lord.

If he can take the pack and either throw it away or run with it past her he will, or any such ability to remove the bag and safely get far from the party he will regardless of the effect on himself. He uses Weal's Champion to make the chances higher of success.


Grammanar's whip snaps at the woman in front of him. She pulls her body back to avoid the thievery.

Yvell rips the android's pack away from her, and can see the blinking sphere through a folded flap. Some kind of grenade.

An explosion erupts from the bag, ripping the leather into shreds and causing a blast of force to hit Grammanar, Yvell, and the android

Yvell and Grammanar can make a Reflex DC 15 to halve the following bludgeoning damage.

Bludgeoning Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 3, 3) = 13
Android Reflex DC 15: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

The deformed android collapses to the ground and stops moving.

Hmm. If Yvell is still hasted, he can throw the pack/grenade away to avoid the explosion, which will change the android's next action.

Okay, slight change in the android's actions.

As the explosion happens inside the metal pipe, the android gives a faint smile, puts the gun against her head... "I won't be taken by you Dominion..." and pulls the trigger. A burst of ice and blood spills out of the deformed android's head as she flops to the ground.

A very unamused and stern Yvell shouted towards Phylla, " Phylla I noticed your lack of contribution and though normally this is.. par for the course, when it was obvious we attempted to subdue the target it is generally in your best interests to assist. Though Ragathiel is a fearsome god.. there is also an amount of duty. If you did not have the capability to assist I would understand, but you should have. You have to learn when to cut down your foes and when to give them mercy. "

He eyes cool somewhat and look at his own hand which grips then, " Though that does not excuse my own ineptitude. I could not push hard enough on my own nor was my ability to command adequate. I have gotten weak or complacent. " His hand grips hard enough to crack knuckles before giving a sigh.

" Check and see if any lived, then check the adorning room for anything of use... " his voice returned to the stern form.. it was reminiscent of when he first met the party, which only Valtyra might remember, it lacked any hint of emotion.

(A5) Workbenches and tools litter this large room, around an unusual looking forge. A variety of bladed weapons hangs on the walls. A shelf on the north end of the room holds polished humanoid skulls.

(A6) This room may have once been used as a storeroom, but its metal shelve s are now haphazardly arranged and draped with thick cloth or metal plating. The result is a claustrophobic warren of passages throughout the room.

(A7) This room's shelves are relatively bare, with a few strange cylindrical objects with strange writing on the side lying in sparse piles on the shelves.

You find over a hundred goo tubes inside the shelves of this room, with Androffan writing.

Androffan:

"Enjoy over 100 flavors of concentrated meats, cheeses, fruits and even complete meals in our simple to eat packaging. Goo Tubes! For the busy researcher or military personnel."

Identify:

I believe you already know what hypoguns are so you can look. Most tech from Numeria is color coded with brown, black then white being lower and scaling upward.

You aren't sure what the other two items are, the pistol with 4 charges is similar to the new pistol, and the handheld device has an image of a gearsman on it.


Inside the pipe, Yvell can see and smell rotting meat and flesh along the sides and bottom. Whatever machinery and scrap inside of the pipe is covered in the slimy substance that the flesh blobs dragged as they moved. The pipe is hollow and provides a pathway through the large room.

Yvell tosses Grammanar the two pistols and explain their use, " They are pistols, guns much like what you carry now. The Zero Pistol you saw shoots Ice. Its well charged. The other pistol is similar to the Zero Pistol but likely uses a different element, you might want to try it out soon. Both are fairly old, they cannot hold a recharge. The White gun can cure woulds but isnt well charged. As for these weapons, they are grenades though I'm not sure what. "

" I think most of us are fine.. once healed to a degree we should carry on, I hope there is more on this Dominion farther inside. I'm starting to think I know what made the strange bears and poison spread, likely the same thing that affected this... Androids. "

The goo tubes instead bring fond memories, however it was not time fore that. After identification is done he revvs his chainsaw Blade once more and motions the group to continue onward to the next area, disgusting as it is through the pipe.

He checks the surrounding, if nothing seemed of use or out of the ordinary he went towards the door visible and opens it when everyone was ready.

I think you've seen similar grenades before, so these are Concussion grenades.

The collapsed stone here splits t h e immense manufacturing hall in half. The jagged rock fall does not quite reach the south wall, leaving a space ten feet wide that allows access into another large chamber beyond. The floor is littered with bloody clumps of flesh and broken machinery shaped like arms and legs.

(A11)

A line of runes is printed above the two doors on this room's western walls. Several tattered, strange suits of armor hang in shreds from hooks in a wide alcove between these doors.

You can hear machinery moving through the doors of this room.

He moves to the Northern door while pointing to the Southern, " Likely they are attached. if the Android before was the leader I assume we wont be seeing much more of them, though the blood and chunks are concerning. Muga, open the door along with me, the rest cover our entry. There is too much mystery here for my tastes. "

And somehow has something to do with this Xoud and Shahasho. It even has striking similarity to an area I and Valtyra have traveled and Phylla was.. 'born' The difference being the Torch was beneficial.. this place I am not so sure. "

The walls of this large room are lined with dark panels of glass, tiny buttons, and other mechanical devices. A set of metal tanks sit to the west, while a chair mounted on a swivel on a short platform sits to the northeast. To the northwest, a section of flooring has been ripped away to expose a tangle of metallic plates and coils of brightly colored cables. Two round tables sit in the room's center.

There are three gearsman and a strange looking gearsman holding a rifle in one of its hands. Pointing it at the paladin-skald, the odd gearsman speaks in Androffan to Yvell in a robotic, neutral voice.

Androffan:
"Primary objective complete. Fugitive exterminated but remains required per Unity directive one. Please submit traitor Casandalee or face immediate execution."

This hallway has doors at the north and south ends. A bright orange hexagonal sigil adorns an immense metal door to the south. A porthole-like glass window is set into the door at head height.

A strange looking gearsman with a rifle stands guard in front of the door.
