Hawk attempts to dodge the tribesman and close the distance with Arukara to give the bugbear another target to worry about. Based purely on the bulk of the creature, he considers if attacking the creature's mind or agility may be the best approach. The possible advantages of binding the creature tip him in one direction. He begins weaving the fibres of Flux to create a Web Bolt, but the work is slow.

Movin, I took the liberty of rolling initiative for Magnes and Girian.

You find nothing of value in the large grotto.
You continue down the next tunnel and reach a large chamber with a statue on each side of a stone gate to the north, and corridors leading east and west. The statues are of an elven man holding a sword low and an elven woman holding a jar.
There's writing on the door in aratheël.
"This is the fun part," Ornthalas says and begins to read aloud:
"Greetings One who walks the Shaman's Path
You have reached the Gate to Sakrashar,
and must now face the Trials of Flame and Sword.
When Warden One has raised his blade,
and Warden Two has flame in jar,
then will the gate be opened up to the realm of Sakrashar."

Don't suppose the spiders body was in tact enough that Magnes could harvest a dose of venom from the thing?
Magnes stands near the spider and seems to be considering what parts of such a beast might work. "Meh, fine. More fer meh. haven't had it before after all. "

Magnes looks at the door and waits a beat after the elf speaks.
"So is there some trick in relation to some elfish wordplay that you can't catch in a direct to common translation or dos the door want us to hold up a bottle of fire and a sword." The dhouvarr asks as he retrieves a bottle of alchemist fire.
"Because if its fire you want I've that in plenty."

"If only it was that easy. Down each corridor there is a lever. One will make the right statue lift his sword. The other will light a fire in the jar held by the left statue. More importantly, when both levers are pulled, it activates a mechanism that opens the gate for fifteen minutes. Problem is that each corridor is trapped. One with fire traps. The other with blade traps. The kind that cannot be disarmed."

Evasion class feature plus instead of being extraordinairy, I picture Bhalur having that Evasion as if blessing from Matalar :P

Girian, who had settled into a general pattern of silence as he concentrated on the torch spell and keeping an eye for danger nods. "I have a spell that can likely keep us in contact if the tunnels don't go too far. It only has a range of one hundred and twenty feet though so its entirely possible the tunnels can out range it. Though Phyllis could come with one of you in case danger arises. I'd know as soon as Phyllis did that something was wrong." At mention of her name the feathered lizard raises its head out of the humans belt pouch and squawks once.
" Yes i'm talking about you Phyllis."
The dinosaur following with a less enthused noise.
The Message spell would let us have our own little Radios. Phyllis as a familiar has an emotional link with Girian and he could tell when danger occurred.

While keeping an eye on the bugbear she points her finger at him to release an arc of lightning towards him.

Arukara, the Lightning Arc does not provoke attack of opportunity, so no need for defensive casting. Also Spell-like Abilities take a standard action, so no need for casting time.

Girian shrugs, activating his message spell and on seeing Rhialla grow wings sighs. "Well I can see where I might be needed." The human then walking over to the tunnel entrance Bhalur had chosen maintaining contact with the spell on the off chance of trouble.
"So any point in asking why your love goddess warrior has wings? I've seen a few others of that bent but they don't have the wings part."
the human drawls as he sits down next to the cave entrance and waits, eyes glancing to the various occupants of the room.

The last roll makes you avoid the second trap. I need one more Reflex roll (make it two, in case you do not avoid the trap and need to roll for half damage)

The Bherug tribesman drops both of his axes and holds both hands at the last deep rapier wound inflicted on him by Hawkren. He looks at Hawkren astoundedly, apparently surprised that he could be defeated by him, before he falls to the ground.
"Hawk! Help!" Igvanus calls out to Hawkren from some thirty feet away. He is clearly having trouble with the worg he is fighting.

The flames of another fire trap licks Bhalur (for 1 damage) before he reaches the lever and pulls it.
In the main chamber a fire ignites in the jar of the left statue and after some mechanical clicks the gate starts to open.
"Good job." Ornthalas says to Rhialla and Bhalur when they have both returned. "Beyond this gate, we're in the Darkendeep portion of the path, and we'll likely encounter Deepspawn so stay focused."

Girian gives the cat man an appraising look and nods, drawing on the weave as he does.
"Damn agile for one of your size Bhalur. Though you might want to put out the last cinders over there. I'll heal the damage you took."
The Fluxcaster then releasing his spell and Bhalur's wounds getting gradually better.

Kevroth nods to Bhalur as he returns from the hallway of fire, "You do your ancestors proud, Bhalur."
Ornthalas' words seem to have little effect on Kevroth save that he seems to breath more rapidly as they move through the door, as if he is occasionally sniffing the air.

Magnes stands, removing the dust from his clothes. The Dhouvarr taking another swig from his flask before twisting his neck once and generating a minorly disgusting popping noise.
"Well its good to know that I can cross 'find out what burned bhakiri hair smells like' from my list of life goals. Glad I didn't do that, I expect meh failures would be a bit more.. explosive."
Magnes then looks over to Ornithas, nodding to Rhialla when she speaks.
"Aye, show tha' path oh brave elf leader."
"Mao" states the cat, looking with a degree of fascination to the stack of giant spider limbs bundled like logs over his pack. The rough cuts fraying into string-y fibers. Perfect for a bored cat to lunge at.
"Oi. Carcass is back there. Go get your own." the dwarf calls, not even needing to turn to see what the cat was looking at.
