Welcome to Sandpoint, Varisia! You have arrived just in time for the Swallowtail Festival and the reopening of the Cathedral after the old one burned down five years ago.
This is the portion of the campaign that is PFS legal. If you would like to temporarily swap your character for a PFS legal one to apply the credit towards you may however i will need your pFS #
This is what I was told in another Adventure Path I am playing when I asked about applying credit to a PFS character who was in a game at the time:
Quote:
Well, it's not legal to have the same char in more than one game at a time, so he can't use it right now. However, you can hold on to it for him and not apply it yet, if he'll still be eligible to get it (aka be 2nd lvl or less) after he's done with the other scenario. If what he's in now makes him 3rd lvl, there's not much to be done for it.
That's possible because Adventure Path characters are treated as pre-gens. Kinda cool, really.
Following the map in the journal you come to an area where The briars and thistles that grow so rampantly in Nettlewood are even more dense and tangled here, close to the shore. Although not quite dense enough to block the sound of waves crashing on the unseen shores to the west, the undergrowth is certainly thick enough to block sight and access to the coast. Few trees grow this close to the edge of the sea, but the briars themselves often reach heights to rival them; here, the patch is nearly twenty feet high.
Cerin pipes up, "Let me see if there is any easier way through from the other side." and disappears into the briars.
First time this has ever had an effect!
Woodland Stride: a druid may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at his normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment.
We left off with Cerin druiding his way through the thicket of briars. Where he sees A four-foot-high tunnel winds through the dense briars and nettles. The floor is hard-packed earth, with patches of wiry plants growing stubbornly here and there. Cerin you do see a flap where the thicket is able to be lifted to allow others through, however those of medium sized are going to be required to crouch to make it through.

Oh this is just fantastic."Blythe swears, slapping a bug against her neck. "Ah! If another bug bites me, I'm going to blast it to Minkai!" She waves her pistol around threateningly at a perceived villainous threat, as a fly buzzes lazily by, unconcerned.

At Blythe's reaction Arabeth shifts her wings to more cover herself. She blushes, obviously slightly embarrassed, that her control is not yet fine enough to be of use.

Arabeth settles her wings with a soft rustle of feathers.
"Well...once Cerinnibert returns and shows us how to get past this..." And she waves her hand at the great patch of briars and brambles before the group. "I fear my...shape...is not all together suited to being out doors..." Arabeth frowns as she thinks of how the foliage will clutch and tear at her wings.

Arabeth takes a slight step forwards, facing into the breeze coming off the sea.
"I wonder if I could make it to the far side...?" She muses, spreading her wings ever so slightly to gauge both their strength and that of the wind as she wonders if she should attempt the feat.
So...DM fiat. Are Arabeth's wings able to hold her aloft?
"I think I would be best to scout ahead in these circumstances." Cerin starts moving north, sneaking forward inside the briars and peeking out occasionally to make sure the party's path is clear.
