Dwalindor's earthbreaker slams into the crypt thing, rocking it back just far enough that his subsequent attacks, along with Albus's and Noonan's do nothing.

Meanwhile the doors to the south fly open and a frantic, wounded Thorrpe walks in as you hear a titanic but fast moving statue stalk into the room.

The crypt thing, sensing powerful magic from Albus, renews its assault.

The statue opens its stone mouth in the imitation of a roar and once again tries to smear Thorrpe across the ceiling.
