Unfortunately, normal arrows and a bow is all he had in hand to hit a flying wizard. That will change if the wizard stays on the ground.

Web typically extends on a 20 foot radius. I did state that he was stuck on the ground due to the web - almost as if I was waiting for you to hit him. Remember he can free himself from the web's difficult terrain with a Combat Maneuver check so time on the ground is limited without dispel magic.

He moved 15 feet from where he was hit from the web so he's got 5 feet of web left - with a 10 foot reach weapon you could stay outside the web and hit him I'd think.

Per the Charge rules "You must have a clear path toward the opponent, and nothing can hinder your movement (such as difficult terrain or obstacles). You must move to the closest space from which you can attack the opponent."

Per the Reach Weapon rules "With a typical reach weapon, you can strike opponents 10 feet away, but you can't strike adjacent foes (those within 5 feet)."

So you can in fact charge the wizard and hit him with Lucy unless I'm misunderstanding lucerne hammers - which is admittedly possible.

Given the rules clarification, would you want to charge instead of using arrows?

If you make a Spellcraft check your characters will know they're required to flee for five more turns. I'd recommend getting the wizard back where the ceilings are 15 feet tall (anywhere but where you are) because you have a reach weapon that would hit him. Just one GM's opinion though.

The arrows bounce off the wizard's skin, although the unnatural sheen is fading.

I figure Dwalindor is near the original entrance since he picked up his hammer - or at least went back for it. If we need to retreat, he will not leave until Noonan does...and he will grab his hammer when he does. Until then, he will keep plunking arrows and hope they break through his candy shell.
