Jesselle only as a question or two, any help of what question(s) to ask would be helpful?
To understand what I can ask:
Once per day you may use speak with dead as a spell-like ability with a caster level equal to your character level. When using the spell in this manner, you must use it in the area where your target died and it must be used within a day of the creature’s death. You do not require a complete body as the ability speaks with the spirit and needs no corporeal connection.
You grant the semblance of life to a corpse, allowing it to answer questions. You may ask one question per two caster levels. The corpse’s knowledge is limited to what it knew during life, including the languages it spoke. Answers are brief, cryptic, or repetitive, especially if the creature would have opposed you in life.
If the dead creature’s alignment was different from yours, the corpse gets a Will save to resist the spell as if it were alive. If successful, the corpse can refuse to answer your questions or attempt to deceive you, using Bluff. The soul can only speak about what it knew in life. It cannot answer any questions that pertain to events that occurred after its death.

Having some weekend events and such going on here, but I'm looking to get a couple more posts out the door for you all, so that you can confer for some things in the late afternoon after you rest:
* Doing a post with Fethryth's dream-visions when she rests
* Doing a post with all five constables in the upstairs break room after resting, with some developments that occur while they rested

What kind of check would I need to learn more about Mishados? Is it something where I could ask Jesselle, maybe use Aid Another? Same with looking up the creepy naked guy from the second vision, maybe like myths or something.

Well I can give you more info on Mishados with some R&D library research or a Kn: Nature and/or Kn: Religion check, but just to ease your mind that there's not a mystery or puzzle you must solve with these. They both represent portents that have to do with the entire Zeitgeist story arc.

For the official record, with her newly gained funds, Gemma is:
Enhancing her breastplate to +1
Purchasing a Scabbard of Vigor (to try and help solve the magical weapon problem)
Purchasing two potions of Cure Moderate Wounds CL3

Two questions
1. What was the name of the Firedust factory? I went looking but couldn't find it
2. I think we all have spells/abilities back, but I wanted to double check; there's some spells I'd like to swap out

Let's see, I called the two adjacent factories Moresby Boreworks and Gleeson & Sons Ammunition Packaging.
Yep you can have different spells and such after the morning!

Shoot, I was hoping for some kind of obvious connection to Eccleston lol.
Spells changed to:
Rank 0: Detect Magic, Enhanced Diplomacy, Read Magic, Stabilize
Rank 1: Cure Light Wounds, Hidden Diplomacy, Moment of Greatness

Should we all agree to meet Gale on Summer 6 or 7? Do we want to try and chase down the leads in front of us and then meet with Gale or do we do it right away so there is technically an excuse with Delft as far as a sense of urgency and no other constables being around?
Jesselle Wesmere
7th here... We NEED to rest. And getting all the other folks (three of them I believe) taken care of would be good for the 6th. That or either the evening of the 6th once we are off duty... I have no issues claiming I was taken by force to an undiscovered locale and met with Gale. Just everyone grab one another take force the other person to go... than it is all true... technically! ;)
Doing it right now is also tempting, but we are all fatigued, as we we really do not need to say were we are, we are expected to rest and no one is expecting us to go anywhere... Note to self, watch for any any tales or folks watching what we do. I would not put it past Saxby to have her beloved team sitting watching us to make their move.
Throwing my thoughts out there.
Fethryth Teldanona
Agreed, noon on the 7th is good. We can go have breakfast with Cippiano in the morning, and hopefully Kell's people will show up soon. I'd be fine looking for the professor instead of resting, but I've also go spells back and I don't think anyone else does(?)
Fethryth Teldanona
So...votes on if we tell the brass about the meeting with Gale or not? Personally I think it's a bad idea to go after Gale already, and I'm perfectly happy to roll the dice on that one and just hope they don't fire us, but it's something we'd have to agree to as a group.
Jesselle Wesmere
Jesselle has not intention of 'going after' Gale at this point in time. She was one of those trying to convince the Skyseer that she wanted to speak with, only, to Gale and not trying to arrest her.
A thought... Get 8 hours rest (or however much more rest the GM thinks we need to have to get rid of the fatigued condition) and go see Gale. Sooner the better I think. Especially since no one, that we are aware of is expecting it.
I think we just need to make sure that we are not being watched/followed by our own... It would make sense that would watch us, to make our move so they can make theirs.
My vote, is not to say anything unless there is a need to say anything.

Anneca - At this point, not a bad assumption :) Glad it turns out we weren't.
On another note, Gemma's up for whatever. She wants to go in so many different directions right now that one's not better than the other to her. The only thing she really wants to avoid is things going horribly sideways with Gale. She has no love for the woman but she feels strongly that the problem doesn't lie with her, and she really doesn't want to see her or their own group set up for political manipulation. By the way, in case it wasn't apparent at the offset, Gemma has no love for Saxby and doesn't trust her in the slightest. Any move that gets one over on Saxby or makes her look bad would be something Gemma would want to do.
She doesn't have to worry about any spell prep so she can go at a moments notice if need be based on group decision.

Honestly, aside from meeting Cippiano, the other three leads regarding Doctor Wolfgang von Recklinghausen are just that. Three parts of one lead. I'm sure it would be nice to talk to each and every one of them but since we have to wait for Kell to allow us access to von Recklinghausen, the only other actionable lead is Cippiano. We could easily do this first thing in the morning on the 6th and follow it up with a visit to Gale. Then we come back, hopefully by evening, and wait for contact from Kell.
Thoughts?
Fethryth Teldanona
That sounds perfect to me, although I wonder if the bird can pass on our desire to reschedule the meeting lol
DM Vord
Hi Gang,
I’ve been under some stress and deadlines at work, though I’ll have time to post tonight. Apologies for the delay but in a way I’m glad, as you all had a good chance to talk about what you wanted to do and what matters to your characters.
So the little bird has heard your desire to meet Gale in the morning on the 6th, after potentially a trek to Cippianos towards the way out of town. I will work to post towards that and advance us.
I had originally thought to do some evening 5th separate scenes with each character in the off duty lives....but with Tobias AWOL and current scenes seeming a bit long in the tooth, I think I’ll do that another time and get you all moving to the 6th.
Jesselle Wesmere
That sucks. I have been there when work goes to heck and you have to stay and clean up the mess. Give our GM my best wishes for him and when's done, take a day or two for himself before he gets back into things. I have no problem waiting.

Greetings All,
Well it's been far too long, and though I've been thinking about the game for a long time now it was something that got away from me pretty badly in terms of zest for writing and getting through a bad bout of writer's block. Work hasn't been a lot of "fun" either, but I do feel I'm in a better place to not let that torque me and disrupt writing and playing the game anymore.
So the good news is that I'm eager to write and get the game going again...but of course the hiatus has been unexpected and severe - I wouldn't presume to assume that everyone is ready to go. I have a good notion of how to move things forward for the next day of 6 Summer and get some long-awaited meetings going! That being said, tonight I posted a series of individual posting options for each character - sort of a "check-in" for each player back to the game as well as to offer an individual opportunity for expression before we get rolling with more group-play. You can run these with me as little or as much as you'd like, with no hard requirements that I'm looking for, other than to have fun with them and feel out your dusted-off characters a bit.
So the postimg site I've been using for pictures and maps looks like it changed a bit and broke all the prior url links, which is irritating. I've fixed the ones on the main Campaign Info Tab, and will provide a new link to all the prior round-by-round combat maps we have accumulated over the course of the game.
Cheers!
Vord

Welcome back Vord! I will get on over to the Gameplay and see what is in store for each of us. I may not get to things until tomorrow, but I will be thinking on it. Good to have you back!

Thanks and good to be back! I have to do an all-day thing with one of my daughters, but I'll be looking to get the next group scene written this weekend.
So to share tidbits of so-called "wisdom" that I learned while out on my unexpected hiatus:
* When having writer's block, playing Tomb Raider on the Playstation doesn't get you back to writing...
* When having writer's block, playing *anything* on the Playstation doesn't get you back to writing...
* Twitch can drain hours and hours of your evenings if you're not careful...
* There are only so many character builds you can spec out in HeroLab for the campaign you play in...
Fethryth Teldanona
Sweet, we're back on. Welcome back, Vord! Can't blame you on the Tomb Raider front. I've LOVED the last two games.
Fethryth Teldanona
Going to finish up a post in the morning, too tired to get it done tonight :(
DM Vord
Glad to see you as well Feth! Yeah a friend of Cromlich and mine unfortunately got the first one for my birthday, so that's how that addiction started. I'm glad the third one isn't out until September. My wife and teenage daughters pretty much enjoy watching me play so they can laugh when I get Lara killed and "help" with the puzzles and what-not. Good times!
DM Vord
I'm trying to get the 6 Summer morning group scene up for you all, but just having a bit of constraint with both daughters being in a school musical production that finally closes out late tonight. So in the meantime you have the individual evening scenes to run as little or as much as you would like.

I'm sorry it's been a while since I've responded, my Grandma has been having some serious health issues that have been keeping me occupied. She's doing well now so I'll be around more.
Fethryth Teldanona
I'm dealing with some family stuff atm, my grandma had pretty serious surgery on tuesday, so feel free to bot me to keep the game going
DM Vord
Not a problem - in general I am eager for those of you who can post to take the opportunity to truly ask any questions you would like to know from her perspective. Gale's meeting with the constables is essentially the boon for completing that particular investigation thread, and so some questions you have may very well be answered if in her purview.
Please review the 'Summary of Clues' in the campaign header if you haven't done so recently, just to refresh yourselves on the journey you've come so far in this adventure!
