Outside 'standard' magical items (like cloaks or vests of resistance, magical armor, stat boosters, etc.), some low cost items that I am specifically interested in (either now, or later!) are:

Lugging around the body of a large creature is more difficult than it looks - also, in the desert, it would have started to stink fairly quickly :-/
At the low cash levels Noor would be interested in the usual boosting items (cloak/ring/amulet)
Otherwise, an agile breastplate (magic if available), doubt she will have the money for a magic falchion or magic bow.
Given how much Noor dislikes monsters, and those who can turn into them, I wonder how she would feel if she was told that she shares her name with a particularly nasty piece of work: Noor, the Red Sultanna, a CE Gnoll :-P
Yeah, I have since seen that. :-) But the inspiration was more the Queen of Jordan.
Alright, well, according to my calculations, we each get a tidy 2520gp; Noor, Tarik, get spending ;-)
I will opt for the Giant Scorpion Armor (450gp), and the Formulae book (2050), which, after selling my existing Breastplate, leaves me with a net total of 126.1gp remaining.
I will work-out whether there are any small things I am after, later...
Calculations sound fine - and no need to ask re: availability of vanilla magic items, they are available.
DMVoV - should we have purchased items with Level 3 wealth rather than Level 2? Just looking at the wealth the main group has now. I only spend 1k.
Kytana - level 2 wealth was the start point. Don't worry overmuch as you'll not be lacking that far behind for too long. The next few loot drops will be tailored a little more towards yourself and Grynbarl with respect to the major items to get you to catch up to the rest.
Tarik is after +1 armor and +1 Cloak of Resistance. Are these fine?
DM - Voice said that 'vanilla' items were available :-)

DM - Voice: Instead of the formulae book (which I do, really, really, want at some point!), is it alright if I take a +1 Mithral Heavy Shield?

Setesh - you can revise if you like... though I'm a little confused as to why the claw/claw/fang blender is after a shield?
Because there is the whole 'additional limbs' vibe going as well :-)
By level six, Setesh will have four arms, a gigantic adrenal tumor, and bat-like wings ;-)

More seriously, I see it as being in line with how Setesh has played-out thus far - a steely will trying to retain control of a mutable, corruptible body; he is someone who is not afraid to experiment upon himself to find the correct 'mix' to optimise existence... Firmly believing that it is the essence, and not the shell, which defines a man...

Wow. 11, 10, then 5. I may just have to sit this chase out lol. Dwarves are not meant for speed and quickness, especially when they have only average physical scores apparently.
Yeh - I was faced with bull rush or climb - my strength is 8, I figured I had no chance at succeeding and decided it was time to hope my saviors were actually saviors.
Don't feel too bad Grynbarl - it's basically been my experience with chases that someone ends up continually failing on the first obstacle :)
As an aside - I'm also open to reasonable applications of other skills that you think fit the obstacle. So for example you could use a Knowledge Nature to try and figure out a way to make the bullock shy up and slip through that way.
As long as it's reasonable and doesn't come off as an attempt to Acrobatics through everything I'll most likely run with it.

Yeah, I will have to pass too. I play in a number of games, but I can only maintain that due to them all being Pathfinder and HeroLab building and advancing all my characters. Too much work otherwise to get into another system. But thanks.

As a personal resolution I've finally started to put a decent update through to the Campaign info page. At the moment it has a woefully inadequate list of people and places, though I've added a reasonable summary of the adventures thus far.
If anyone would like additional information / specifics to be put on there, please let me know.

We've mothballed in thread over the last couple of weeks and I can think of a few reasons (no clear party authority for decision making, people are busy IRL, etc.) but I just wanted to clear the air and get some feedback?
Am I not giving enough information for you to rationally make decisions?
Has the game gotten boring or away from what is making you a happy and intrigued player?
Do you want to finish up with all this city stuff and get back among the gritty sand?
I'm still here, willing and able to be your guide - but I just need a bit of reinforcement from my players that the game is heading in a direction that you'd like to travel.
my guess is a rampant case of spring fever :) I also think folks tend to put posting off unless they are in the middle of combat... maybe throw in a colossus attack!
I've just been distracted by IRL things lately, besides gearing up to run a game myself. I think I'm hitting that place where I'm getting into too many games to remember to consistently post in all of them. I'll try to fix that.

He's been working a lot lately, and there was his b-day on Saturday, so I imagine he's been dead tired most days. He said he was gonna get back to his PbPs after the birthday though, so we should see him back tomorrow sometime if not later tonight.
No problems - hopefully he'll have a chance to get back cracking soonish. I don't think he'll object - so I'll forward the plot a little.

Probably an appropriate juncture to do a cross-post to my DM'ed PbPs about an interruption to my posting schedule that is imminent.
My wife is about 37 weeks pregnant, which basically means that the bun is fully cooked and ready to pop at any time. This means that at some point in the next 1 day to 4 weeks I will suddenly and without notice disappear completely from the interwebs. I can't say when or for how long, but it will probably knock me out for up to a week or so before my wife and I get back on our feet and I'm of somewhat sound and untired enough mind to jump back online.
So if I do vanish, please don't fret as I shall return :) I would just ask for some patience for a while as we adjust to the new baby floating around. I'll get ourselves sorted at home first, then recommence with the DM'ing once we're all squared away and back in some sort of a new-born 'sequence' again.

Grynbarl - it may have not been absolutely clear, but the 'nectar' was another type of tabac on offer... That's what I've run with in the follow-up post at any rate.

I've ruled that since your initial inhalation was intentional, that voided your ability to save against the narcotic effect... but the other two saves requested will impact on whether you have a good trip... or a bad trip...
