Karas Argentus |

Yay healer :)
I hope noone is getting annoyed at Karas's breakdown. I think we have a band of wonderfully weird people lol

Bimbur Longstrike |

Thinking sacred weaponry for bimbur
Alter self comes with +2 Str for medium creature, so you melee builds may like going reptile man with three natural attacks, +1 natural armor, and +2 str

DM-Salsa |

I find it kinda funny you guys look after the lady and totally ignore the men. :D

Karas Argentus |

I would like to have a sacred weaponry scale too if we can use that as the double. Would probably help my claws.

Ulfr Uggason |

Youall must be talking warpriesty stuff because I just got a little lost. Cloudwalking?
Edit: always read both threads first...
I'll take whatever scale is left over. :)

Tehina Muunokhoi |

Cloud walking would probably be the best for Tehina. Sacred Weaponry is rather pointless and the disguise can be put to better use by others. Resistance would also be useful I guess, especially since she probably is the squishiest of all at the moment.
As for healing, eventually Tehina will be able to throw around Infernal Healing with relative impunity. Not yet though. She'll actually be packing quite a few spells that could make her goodly allies flinch and won't hesitate to summon a devil or even a qlippoth to fight a demon. That's all future stuff though.

Neile Vass |

Not tiring so far. She's actually doing a good job of convincing Ulfr that she's a seer or shaman.
Haha. Yep, that's going to get interesting...
Good to have you with us, Tchirash! We all make mistakes, but you're here now!
Salsa, this avatar works fine for Neile. It doesn't have a floppy hat, but it's pretty close :p
I'm a big fan of flex-time, Rakeesh. It works well for these kinds of things. And Neile's a curious kid, so she'll be asking a lot of people a lot of questions.
Depending on what spirits she picks up, Neile might be able to remove conditions (I think the Desert enables that). And the Occult Adventures hardcover might have a healing spirit among the 54. We'll see what happens. She could fill multiple roles - it's just that right now, she's channelling The Beating, so she's an unarmed fighter today. To,or row, she might channel the Rabbit Prince and fight with a dagger. Who knows! (And it'll be interesting to see if she ever racks up 4 influence with a spirit and loses control...)
As for scales... I don't know. Since Neile doesn't really have a niche, just give her what's left. She's too mad to know the difference anyway :p

Karas Argentus |

Any token works for me Salsa.

Tehina Muunokhoi |

For a token just use my avatar here.
As far as odd stuff goes, Tehina's familiar, Merular, actually isn't a bird but a Paracletus Aeon molded into one by Tehina's patron, a far more powerful Aeon. As such it suddenly finds itself not only able of speech, which it normal form isn't, but also able to feel emotions, a very interesting thing to have if you normally are baffled by it. It also developed a gender identity associated with it's form while it itself is genderless.
Expect sudden mood swings from the little bird until he returns to his true form.

Karas Argentus |

I'm feeling a pretty large personality spectrum so far lol. The only one I cant quite pin down is Tehina though. :)

Rakeesh Sah Tarna |

This is nice. If Raakesh's personality stays like this he'll end up being one of the forces pushing Tehina towards neutrality. I like it.
I must be missing some facet of Rakeesh's personality, that you are picking up on...

Tehina Muunokhoi |

I'm talking about the zealot in Rakeesh, he is quite frantic and aggressive it seems so far. That'll be great in showing Tehina the damage the forces of good can do if pushed.
As for her personality, she is mostly kind and caring and in search of who and what she is. Her past lives range from monastic scholars to generals fighting armies of qlippoth and she has seen visions of all of those. She has no idea how she fits in though, or what her patron expects from her exactly. All she knows is that she needs to learn more to figure it out.

Rakeesh Sah Tarna |

I'm talking about the zealot in Rakeesh, he is quite frantic and aggressive it seems so far.
Guess I'm still missing it... *shrug*
Aside from a little racial prejudice against Karas (which seems perfectly reasonable to me, considering circumstance), he's been excessively polite to almost everyone. I was actually going for an old-world, genteel style. Guess I whiffed. I'll redouble my efforts.

Tehina Muunokhoi |

Well, part of it comes from you following Ragathiel, the Empyreal lord who only has to let Vildeis go before him when it comes to zealotry. Vildeis whose urge to self mutilate is enough to make a Kyton jealous.
The other part is your prejudice against Karas based on nothing but his appearance. Treating him like he's demon based on his ancestry seems wrong to Tehina though she can understand it. She has been like that before, when she wasn't who she is now.
Muunokhoi for instance, her most recent past life, was a Tian La warrior who defended his people from marauders. He was so blinded by his hate for that tribe that, when he got the chance to retaliate, it was only by hand of his second in command that he did not murder the entire tribe. Tehina remembers the feeling of shame and defeat he felt when he realised that prejudice almost made him become his most hated enemy.

Karas Argentus |

I see Rakeesh as very much playing up the Lawful good is not lawful nice end of the spectrum.

Karas Argentus |

I am not fast /Baymax
lol

DM-Salsa |

Awesome movie ^_^
And now I know what I want to play if I ever get a chance to play Iron Gods. :D

Karas Argentus |

Lmao Fat android ftw. I am running IG tabletop currently. its interesting.

Rakeesh Sah Tarna |

I see Rakeesh as very much playing up the Lawful good is not lawful nice end of the spectrum.
This is going to be interesting. Not only not especially "nice" (although, in fairness he's pretty polite!), but not especially willing!
He's kind of like Jonah. He's there. But, it took getting thrown overboard and being swallowed whole by a whale to get him there!
If you haven't read his background, give it a look. He's not as sanctimonious as you might assume! :)

Neile Vass |

Neile has mixed feelings about a lot of the party. She doesn't understand a lot of things, like why Rakeesh doesn't like Karas just because he has scales, or why he doesn't like her because she hears things. (I, of course, understand there's more; she, however, doesn't get the nuances.)
In contrast to Tehina, she desperately wants to be good; she just has forces pulling her in the other direction. Rather than seeing how dangerous driven good can be, she strives for it, sees it as an ideal to work for in an attempt to overcome the influence of her spirits.
She doesn't understand why people don't like Karas - he seems nice, he's just sad because he lost someone. She likes Tehina and Ulfr, because in different ways, they seem to understand a little. She's a bit scared of Rakeesh now, knowing how he hates demons and thinks she's hosting them.
It's going to be interesting to see how it goes.

Karas Argentus |

Woops lol ignore my first post. updated for the map.

Tchirash Suntouched |

Salsa, you can edit the campaign info with the url so that the map link shows up in the header of every page. I've done that with games I'm running and it works great. It allows the map to be accessible from any page in the game.

Karas Argentus |

The suspense is killing me! :p

Karas Argentus |

They most certainly do. But I don't know if even they can help with our crazy stats.
I'm running it sporadically in tabletop and just finished book one . I'm glad we're not following the book encounters but we really couldn't with our stats lol.

DM-Salsa |

The original fight was against 2 giant maggots. I replaced it with 4 abyssal larvae and gave them all max HP. I guess this means I don't have to feel too bad when I throw the really crazy stuff at you. :D

Karas Argentus |

Karas is basically a glass cannon though. The joys of 13 AC while raging lol

Karas Argentus |

I'm sorry if I'm posting too much. I'm just bored at work and have a lot of time to check for updates. If I'm doing too much tell me and I'll cut back.

Bimbur Longstrike |

After seeing a demon destroy a dragon, I think Bimbur is expecting significant opposition. It turns out his 1d6 damage rolls can't keep up with the others, but he can excel at defense.
