Krosk might even be switched to a mite or kobold, all the better to terrorize my Kingmaker players... And I also plan on having them encounter some of my characters. They might hear of a pirate lass making all sorts of trouble off the coast, the cavalier's horse will come from a particular breeder in Mendev... And of course, a certain bard will have to make an appearance.

I'm just gonna wipe the slate and assume that Noro has a really embarassing phobia (of, I dunno, sock puppets) that showed up in her dreams and Asuriel picked up on. There, problem solved. My headcanon states that Noro is afraid of sock puppets.

I bought my mum a milk frother, and will be looking for a bottle of chai syrup. She's become hooked on chai lattes, so now she should be able to make her own instead of spending $50 a week on them. It just hurts my unemployed wallet >.>

Ugh, don't even start. Between the laminating, the data entry, and the disease-ridden monsters that are five-year-olds, I'm over it. A kid was suspended today for punching a teacher on the bottom, and his mother is convinced he did nothing wrong. It's f&*!ed.
Mine are 6.5, 4.5 and 1.5. I get repeatedly get punched, kicked, jumped on and generally assaulted daily:). I love chai and spend $50 a week on them as well. I get one daily. Hmm maybe it's about that time actually.
Well, yeah, but they're your kids. What would you do if one of them bit their teacher? Or pulled a Gandalf in front of a school bus? Or got down on the floor and started licking the teacher's shoes? (This was all one child, by the way. He's a real... delight, I tell you.) Not attacking parenting methods or anything, just getting all annoyed and ranty about some of the terrible parents at school. Like the mother of a year 7 boy who was suspended for "sack-tapping" another student, and she was furious that such a "trivial matter" had been brought to her attention, and that "the school should be putting more effort into educating children than being efficious over minor incidents". She makes me feel all punchy. >:(
I've seen my mother buy $30 of chai lattes in one day. It's a terrible thing. I sure hope being able to make them at home will stop the 8 pm Maccas runs.
It's nice to know that public education is consistently screwy in Australia and the US.

Oh, the kids are terrors because the parents are total head-cases. I'm well aware of this. But unfortunately, we can't do anything about the parents - all we can do is discipline the kids, and hope the parents get the bleedin' message.

I honestly have no idea how to figure out Horatio's alcohol tolerance. I mean, my boyfriend (who's about the same height and build I imagine him at, though with a bit of a gut) pointed out to me that he can drink a carton of stout over the course of eight hours and be buzzed-to-tipsy. But that's one example of one person I know, and not the abstraction of life that is the rules of the game. I figure, drink until the DM calls for a Fort save. Or wait for the morning and cross your fingers.
