Though the villagers shy from Kryssa's incoherent threats, most listen to Chamius, and a few give cheers as they look upon the dead owlbear.
Then, suddenly, a bloodthirsty screech comes from the north, followed by the sound of riders approaching. Emerging from the night comes another group of bandits, this time led by what surely must be the leader of the Thundering Eclipse.
Perched on the back of an armored axe beak rides an imposing tengu clad in steel, his feathers dyed crimson where they show through his armor.
They charge towards the village along the road, but veer around to the west, heading towards the breach in the barricade. Having regained some morale, the village archers loose arrows but the bandits raise shields defensively against them.
Everyone can take a round to move or perform other actions before the leader rounds the village and nears the western barricade. I'm not going to roll initiative here, we're just going back and forth.

The bandits round the northwestern corner of the village and pass among some trees. Villagers fire arrows and one of the tengu falls from his horse, but the rest continue on with determination. At the front the bandit reigns his strange mount to a halt just before the barricade. There he raises his sword and spins it in an impressive display of skill.
