Sorry for the disappearing act. There have been a stack of changes at work: our group was re-org'd, got moved to a new department - which doubled our area of responsibilities, and we acquired a new Director with 'big ideas'. I went heads down to knock out some critical objectives hoping that I could come up for breath in just a couple weeks *hollow laugh*. Unfortunately, more stuff keeps getting tossed on my plate faster than I can clear projects. At this point, I'm going to be working like crazy until some time in May - at a guess.
So, I'm going to have to drop out of every game for the foreseeable future. If you've already replaced my character or dropped me... that is totally fine and I apologize for the inconvenience and for not digging myself out of this work pile earlier to let you know my situation. If you've been generous enough to NPC my character in my absence - thank you for keeping the faith and I'm doubly sorry that I can't come back to pick up where I left off. You have every right to berate me, so feel free to scourge me via PM. I won't put up a fight, I've earned it.
Again, I'm quite sorry for leaving you all in the lurch and I'll hope to play with you good folks again at some point in the future.

Having said that, my current joblessness and subsequent return of work PC has left me with spotty forum posting the last week or so.
Tomorrow I promise to update. Home PC set up now.

OK gang, potential bad news. With everything going on in life, I just don't know if I can give you the game you deserve. That said, I really don't want to shut it down but I also don't want you to be disappointed in how this game is going.

I joined the game in July of 2014. In the nearly 2 years since then, I think I've gained 1 level and 1 mythic step, and those at the same time.
I don't mind a leisurely pace, but this has been a bit glacial.
Just my opening thoughts.
Agree. Would like to advance, especially since you had the plan to level us more slowly due to mythic power.
Fair enough. If you don't mind waiting until the beginning of next week, at which point some situations of mine should resolve into having more time in front of a screen again...I would be more than happy to keep this open. I just wanted to open a dialogue with ya'll to see if you're still game.
I can wait... I really like the characters and the DM.

Hey all, sorry for the tardy...travelling for work and have not had time between meetings and flights. Most likely be this weekend before I get time to update.
All, I am traveling starting tomorrow morning for 2 weeks and will be in Greece. I hope to have some connectivity while traveling, especially during the first week of the trip, but please bot me when needed to move the game along. During that time my posts may be shorter as I may be posting from my phone.

In the interest of keeping everyone in the loop...
I approached Arc about taking over DM duties from me. I'm just not able to make this happen like you all deserve with your wonderful characters and it isn't fair to you all to have to drudge along like I've made you.
Arc wasn't completely comfortable taking the reins at this time and is a little too busy as well to allow committing to it.
So, would anyone want to take over or know someone that would? I really, really didn't want it to come to this but I just can't reliably be here with the baby, the new job, and the writing gigs I have.
Sometimes it's best to just end it, and there's no hard feelings.
I think in that case we should close the books. I apologize, again, and I was really looking forward to seeing your characters develop and be confronted with some of the choices I had lined up for each of you with regards to gaining mythic power.
