With that information we have our split. We each get 8875 gold and 5 silver.

Wand of cure moderate wounds (35 charges) - Party, but who holds it?
Wand of invisibility (15 charges) - Seren
Bag of holding X2 Type I - Party. Who wants to carry each?
5 potions of cure serious wounds - One each?
3 potions of lesser restoration - Segang will carry at least one
2 potion vials(bulls strength) - Segang
3 flasks of alchemist fire - - Party, but who holds them?
Wand of Magic missiles (CL9 w/18 charges) - Seren
Wand of Dim Door (3 charges) - Seren

The only issue I see is that we are currently planing to sell the Wand of Magic missiles (CL9 w/18 charges). Hmm. I missed the increased caster level when I calculated the value. It would be worth 7140 (sell for half0 at a 7th level caster. At 9th level caster it increases to 9180 and sells for 4590. The question remains to we keep or sell this wand? Its at 9th level caster, allowing one more person to travel with each use.

If we keep it the cut becomes 7897.5. I recommend we keep it. Dim Door is just too handy.

Keep the dim door wand or magic missile? Dim door definitely keep. I could see selling the magic missile wand as needed.

Note that there are two dim door wands. You had already claimed the one with 3 charges. I say we keep all three wands. Just too useful.

I didn't address it in the game thread, but assume you had access to trainers for the desired feats, either through other PCs, Vencarlo or Trinia. Like buying and selling, there's plenty of downtime to account for oddball requests.

I think Segang will purchase a headband of Havoc for 8k. It does two things for him. It increase one range power by 4 levels (which can be another +1 on will saves, +1 damage vs casters, or +1 Natural Armor) AND it lets his start rage as an immediate action once a day. So, if he has to make a will save, he could rage first and gain +5 to that save. Or if he is attacked he could rage first, increasing both his AC and Fort save.

Thoughts?

Mel, he already has a +2 cloak.

I'm thinking of a belt of incredible dexterity +2 and a headband of inspired wisdom +2.

Not a very impressive boost on either one, but better than nothing, and I can't afford +4 items. Not to mention, I need whatever boost I can get to my Will save.

If there's a cloak of resistance +2 going spare, I'll have it!

No +2 cloaks in the loot, only Mel recommending that we each buy one.

I considered upgrading my +2 belt of con to one that gives +2 con and strength. That would be 6k,but this headband seems more thematic.

I can use the Dim Door wand.

Ah, then Mel can certainly use party gold to upgrade her cloak! Ab, those are good items to nab, especially the belt. Headband for will saves? A cracked Pale Green Prism ioun stone will get you +1 to all saves for cheaper, I think.

Jarha will probably upgrade his cloak to +2 and get a +2 CON boosting belt. He will sell his Boots of the Cat, since he now has always on feather fall as a kineticist. I'll have to see if there is something else he wants to buy with the left over loot funds and proceeds of boot and +1 cloak sales. Probably will just save it.

I see that you can us the wand if Dim Door, which is excellent. Since Seres is getting other goodies I’d recommend you take the wand with 17 charges. I am not that familiar with the witch spell list.

As far as party gold goes, I believe we have sold and split the gold out. 7897:.5 gold each.

Never heard of those. I will mention that I am not sure what books are available for item purchase and that our GM balked when I tried to buy things like air bladders and fins.

I'm pretty open to all Paizo core products. A lot of their "splat" books, however, have feats and gear that are built around the themes of the subject race, religion, region etc. But if they aren't given specific prerequisites to that theme, anyone can take them for the mechanical benefit, even if it doesn't make any sense on the fluff side.

Do you at least recall DM NomadSage when you balked at my mundane swimming gear in the first book? I forget what resource it came from, but I had it loaded in Herolab so it showed up to me.

Jarha is also going to buy some potions of reduce person, which, if I am understanding correctly, for 50gp each will give total of +2 to hit and -2 to AC, without any negative consequences to his kinetic blast damage. Am I missing anything? Any more efficient option than buying potions? I couldn't find any appropriate magic items (and couldn't afford anything fancy anyways).

No, it's Reduce Person that gives the advantages to Dex, to hit, and AC. Enlarge is a great boost for melee fighters, but the opposite of what Jarha needs.

Yep. That is a standard trick for casters. In the right size town you could buy a wand of it and perhaps use UMD or get a caster to use it on you. But potions are more handy.

My understanding is that such a wand would be available locally, given all the other stuff that is available. I guess if I have 750 gp available that would be a lot more cost efficient than potions, and Jarha has +9 UMD and both Melianthe and Seren could use it on Jarha. I just need to do my accounting...

Referencing Segang's question, here are the Harrow Point uses in this chapter (if you remember to use them). You each start with 3 points. They can be spent any time as a free action.

Brutal Strike: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to gain a +5 bonus on damage rolls with all melee or natural weapons for the duration of one combat. Alternatively, brutal strike allows the PC to ignore an object’s hardness for 1 round.
Mighty Thews: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to be treated as a creature one size category larger than normal for the purposes of attempting grapple combat maneuver checks, wielding weapons, lifting heavy objects, and determining whether a hungry monster can swallow her whole; this adjustment lasts for one encounter (but no more than 10 minutes).
Strength Rerolls: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to reroll a Strength-based check. She must abide by the new result (although if she has additional Harrow Points remaining, she can use them to attempt additional rerolls).

I was in Costa Rica a few years back for 10 days. We were with Gate 1 Tours and had a great time. I highly recommend that company.

I think you mentioned Gate 1 to me before. My wife and I have looked into them and were definitely impressed with their offers. We are looking to scuba dive on this trip so that may limit what we can do on organized tours but were hoping to fill in with some non dive days.

Any highlights from your visit?
