Seems like the site is stable again. I have just gotten back from Dragon con and wanted to report in.
I know the website meltdown(s) really drained momentum across my PbP games, but most have managed to recover in the last week or so... except this one. What can I do to get people posting again?

I am here and ready to post daily. But Segang is sort of in a support role at the moment. He cannot detect magic or disarm traps. So he cannot do much to lead things forward.
I have a trip coming up that will have me traveling out of the country starting the 19 that will last through the end of the month. I can post while traveling but will be dependent on internet in hotels so it might be spotty.

I am around and checking daily other than weekends. I have been holding back a bit because Jarha isn't the leader or our most skilled scout, but maybe I'll play him a little more assertively until we back into a groove.
Dungeon crawls are notoriously bad for PbP. I usually try to fan things out and use flex time to keep things moving, but this labyrinth has a peculiar mechanic that counters that tactic. I don't want to hand wave it and say "you solved it!".

Yeah, I guess I figured last round it would have been 3 actions to (1) turn invisible, (2) open the cage, and (3) move to Jarha. So it didn't seem it could move to Jarha last round unless turning invisible was a swift action. Anyhow, obviously you know the full picture and I don't, but that's the source of my confusion. I wouldn't have even inquired but for the fact that it did 70 HP damage in one round and the party is in a tight spot...

For me good GMing often has you thinking things are more dire than they are. :)
So I, as a long time D&D player, think I may know what we are fighting. Given the heavy Vudrani/Indian influence, the shape changing, voice altering, flying, spell and weapon resistant creature gives me a pretty good idea (plus a relatively recent DDO run).
Any way we can have those data points tie together to get a knowledge roll for our characters?

Up to NomadSage of course but it seems reasonable to let our characters make a knowledge roll based on what they have perceived.
By the way, can Seren use curing wands? Probably not, but if so he could come forward and use the wand CMW on Absinthe and Jarha could return to attacking the foe with kinetic blasts.

Gotta get you healed up first! Jarha can do it with the wand, but it would be great if someone else can use the wand so he can return to damage dealing...

Mel, I think I recall that you can use a harrow point to reroll a knowledge roll. Seems you are the only person with Knowledge Planes.

It's really frustrating how I keep missing this guy… Could someone hit me up with Cat's grace if he survives to the next round? I'll make sure to buy a Dex-boosting item if we make it out of here. =_=

So even with you helping me and a flank, I need 14 or higher to hit... and I keep missing that magic number.
Any chance our spellcasters could see whether he's packing enhancement spells and Dispel them? ^^; I hate to be pushy about it, but he's kind of kicking our tank's butt and I'm just not cutting it.

Yep. I have missed a few times by one or two. If the hound archon would attack to assist it could make a difference.

HP:1d7 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
He gains +1 BAB, +1 Reflex saves, +1 Will saves, and Extreme Endurance increases to Resist Fire 3.
He gains a new feat. I'll research this some. Thinking about Extra Rage Power to take Beast totem (+1AC/4 levels)m so I can take Greater Beast Totem at 10th.
He picks up 5 skill points and takes
Acrobatics +1
Intimidate +2
Perception +1
Swim +1
Also, I'd like to discuss training out of Cleave to pick up a feat that is more useful. Cleave just really never worked out.

How much did we make off this dungeon crawl?
I have 230 gp, so I'd only need 220 -- and I promise the investment would be worth it. It'd allow me to start taking ranks in Duelist and Shadow dancer, starting next level.
