Knowledge Planes to identify: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Brynn takes a five-foot step back towards the exit and aims her bow at the fire elemental just a few feet from her. She channels her magical powers into her bow (using a pool point to make it +1) and fires a pair of arrows at the creature, the first of which is icy cold! (Ranged Spell Combat to cast snowball and fire an arrow. Delivering snowball with Ranged Spellstrike).
Ranged Attack (snowball): 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 - 2 = 14
Cold Damage: 4d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 2) + 1 = 14 (If hit it needs to make a DC 13 Fortitude save or its staggered for 1 round.)
Magic Piercing Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 8 + 1 - 2 = 17
Magical Piercing Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

DM Nex |

You are right! I just misread it. Well here is your extra fire damage
Fire damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Brynn is not quite sure what these are, though they look very similar to something that Grilnik summoned earlier.
Brynn's first icey arrow misses the creature through the arrowhead. The second arrow strikes true though
The arrow freshly pushed into the creature it steps forward and swings its firey fists at Brynn, but misses the quick archer.

Vors curses. "DAMMIT! How the hell am I to fight fire creatures with a fire rapier?!"
Then, an idea!! The roguish cleric takes out his waterskin, advancing on the monster attacking the dwarf and squirts it at the fire creature.
It's worth a shot?!

Bethany Carpenter |

I am confused there was nothing near me on the map. I moved up to where the creature is and took the damage anyway.
Having been caught leaning on a sarcophagi Bethany does not react quickly but when she does the familiar rage takes ahold of her. As her muscles strain she brings the hammer around, a smile growing on her lips.

Grilnik Urist |

It was a trapped floor that hurt Bethany and Grilnik
after that the probably-fire-elementals attacked

DM Nex |

Yeah the first fire thing was a trap. Waves of fire flared all over the room. Everyone who was standing on the dragon on the ground got hit
Bethany charges at one of the small fire spouts and crushes it. It poofs into smoke and goes away.
Vor's dumping of water seems like it just sizzles a bit onto the creature. You are not sure if it hurt it at all.. Maybe just cooling it down a bit was enough.

Grilnik Urist |

beard searing nightmare...
"Vors, duck."
Grilnik swings his hammer over Vors's head, uncomfortably close to the height it is when he's standing tall.
Attack (A2): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 let's see, 14 was a whiff, right?
Damage (B): 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 3 = 7
Swinging too high, Grilnik once again misses the short elemental.

Bullseye Brynn |

Brynn nocks an arrow and takes a step to the side. Then she waits.... ready to fire if she has a clear shot on the elemental.

DM Nex |

Bethany crashes down onto the elemental and it bursts in a flash of fire and disappears.
The hall goes quiet again.
The 3 north small rooms remain still. Black pillars with dozens of small urns.
4 sarcophagi to the south. As well as another small room to the south with another staircase heading down.

Bullseye Brynn |

Brynn re-examines the pillars, curious if the danger of their summoning magic has passed, or it might reactivate again later. Detect magic
Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

DM Nex |

A quick scan of the pillars shows all of the urns. They look to have names on them. You can also tell that these fire elementals where bound to the pillars. Not quite a summon, but more of a bound creature. Since they are destroyed it is unlikely to happen again.
Though with your scan of the room you do get a better look at the dragon marking on the ground. It is a active trap that seems to recharge every minute or so. Which you think only has a few seconds left before everyone in the main room gets flashed with fire again.
Though as you all have a second chance to look around. You do notice writing on the floor now, glowing faintly.
"Red Azramo—Give the Dragon Her Due."
Azramo is a name of a dragon slain by Tula and her mercenaries.

Grilnik Urist |

Grilnik looks at the glowing writing on the floor while tapping a finger on his Potion of Resist Fire and steps off of the area that spouted fire just moments ago.
Please don't be money...
"What's a dragon's due? Think it could be fire?"

Bethany Carpenter |

While the others look around Bethany catches her breath. Sure, there is a magic way to do this but she feels she her feeling of exhaustion is earned and enjoys it.
"Dragons due? Seems they always want blood and gold. I guess fire might be what it wants."

Vors Orcblood |

Knowledge (history): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
"Don't know. Maybe."
With waterskin still in hand, Vors squirts his waterskin at Grilnik, to put out any soldering beard hairs.

Grilnik Urist |

smoldering? :P
Grilnik jumps in surprise at the squirt of water, then he remembers.
"Thanks... anyway, it can't hurt to try some of my lamp oil. Maybe on the dragon art?"
Grilnik puts his hammer away, retrieves a pint of lantern oil, and waits for the others to step away from the red floor art.

Bullseye Brynn |

Brynn tells everyone to get off and away from the dragon mosaic.
"Not sure I want to find out what it wants," Brynn replies to their talk. "Let's forge ahead, shall we? Before the dragon feels like breathing fire again."

DM Nex |

After a few seconds out of the range of the dragon mosaic it bursts into flames again for a short second. You can feel the heat, but you are out of the main path of the fire.
The room goes quiet again. You know it will reset in about a minute, then trigger a few seconds after walking on the floor. Not sure what the words mean what do you want to do?
There are stairs to the south, in another little room. These lead farther down.

Grilnik Urist |

"Right, let's get going before my braids come undone."
With that, Grilnik jogs across to the southern stairwell.

Bethany Carpenter |

"Stairs sound good."
Bethany quickly follows behind Grilnik.

Bullseye Brynn |

Satisfied that the proper people -- anyone but herself -- is in the lead, Brynn follows the others down the stairs and deeper into the tomb.

DM Nex |

As your group quickly moves over the floor again, you can feel the trap activate at this point. But you are able to move past it fast enough and down the stairs.
You enter another small room. Near the east wall of this oval chamber is an alter, the front side of which is carbed to resemble a winged eye. A chalice and a small leather-bound book sit atop the alter.
This is an ancient alter to Aroden, the dead god.
It does look like the chalice and book would be worth something.
There are also a set of double doors heading north from this room. That is the only exit out of this room.

Bullseye Brynn |

From her place near the entrance, Brynn examines the area with her magical sight. Detect magic!

Vors Orcblood |

Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
"Wow. Aroden stuff." Vors says as he walks around the altar. "That could catch a decent copper in a bigger city."
The half-orc scans the room for any more religious iconography.

"The dead god Aroden? By my beard..." After taking a look for himself, he gives Vors a look. "Also, let's not sully our beards by trying to trade it for 'decent copper', confiscating ill-gotten gains is one thing, but grave robbery is another. Let's stick to what Bassy said could help us..."

Bethany Carpenter |

At the mention of being a grave robber Bethany blances. Well... I had not thought about this that way. Grilnik is right. She simply nods and follows the others, hammer at the ready.

DM Nex |

There is no magic in this room, but the two double doors to the north show the rooms continue.
As you open the new room (carefully and checking for traps of course).
The floor of this great, domed chamber has a coppery metallic sheen, save for three mosaics of blue dragons made of polished blue glass. Chiseled into the north wall is an inscription, and the air smell slightly of ozone.
The message on the north wall reads "Baesterogh, Alamitatus, and Vernegash - each dragon slain by Lady Tula of Belhaim and the Slayers of Nazilli, Battle of Blue Note Hill, 3668 AR."
There is a door to the West that can be seen.

Vors Orcblood |

Vors taking in the mosaic. "Nice."
The half-orc then examines the double doors for traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Vors Orcblood |

As soon as Vors notices the floor, he immediately barks, "No one move! I need to check the floor!"
The half-orc then carefully examines the floor for traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Bullseye Brynn |

Brynn contemplates taking the prayer book anyway, but decides to leave it be. It wasn't worth the argument. With a shrug she follows the others.
Did she see no aura with her detect magic spell?

Vors Orcblood |

After an examination of the room, Vors postulates, "Well, the floor appears to be electrified in some way". Looking up to the dome, the caydenite continues. "I wouldn't be surprised if the dome holds the trap mechanism... or the doors." Audibly sighing, Vors gingerly walked back over to the doors, taking special interest in the door's hinges.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Grilnik Urist |

While Vors looks for hints in the doors, Grilnik wonders aloud.
"Hmmm, I wonder if we can jump from dragon to dragon...
If all else fails, I can give at least one of us protection from electricity."
Eventually, Grilnik decides to skim the book for clues.

Bethany Carpenter |

"If I ever get to make decisions on towers, lairs, tombs or anything like that there will be less traps. This all seems a bit overkill."

Grilnik Urist |

Giving up on Vors's investigation as well as his own, Grilnik begins rummaging through his things.
He finds the party's ten sacks that he's been lugging around in hopes of hauling more treasure, and has an idea.
"Hey, think these sacks will be thick enough to protect us from the floor? Vors, you want to test it out so we can share any discomfort fifty-fifty?"
I kinda wish I knew if it was a reflex save or not xD
Also, feel free to ask for that electricity resistance Grilnik mentioned if Vors doesn't feel like relying on RNGesus xD

Bullseye Brynn |

Sorry, is the entire floor that's electrified, or just the dragon designs?

Grilnik Urist |

I'm pretty sure it's everything but the dragon designs xD
The blue bits are glass and the rest is copper, so...

Vors Orcblood |

Vors tests a theory and leaps to land on one of the dragons.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

DM Nex |

With a small running start, Vors jumps and is able to land on the blue dragon in the center of the room.
