Karinna thanks Agerron and Whiskeyjack with a nod, guiding her horse to the other mounts, smiling briefly at Tyr, while hearing Big Ern and Agerron 'discuss' her being there.
She tends to her horse, unsaddling it, giving it some oats and taking off the pack-sacks. When she brings her bedroll to the campfire, she has a short-sword in hand, carrying it at the blade, not the handle. The bow she left behind with her other things.
She sticks her short-sword into the soft ground, unfurling her bedroll when she speaks up again: "So, you want to hear a story? I thought your dwarven companion would take over that part... He is clearly better at it than I am.
And... I think I heard of your group a bit differently.
I heard of you pointing at Agerron, you Big Ern and you Majet, but you Tyr don't exactly look like the description I heard of ... um she's thinking a second ... Devlin. And you Nero are most likely not the elf I heard of."

You easily spot twine and wires, a small wood-saw, a hand-drill and shovel, and other things that come in handy to build traps, as well as knifes and such to prepare those pelts in her pack-sack, as she pushes things back in.
When she's done with preparing her stuff to have it packed for the next day again, she walks back to her bedroll, not looking at or even near Big Ern.
Taking a sip out of her waterskin, she settles down, then thanks Tyr for helping her.
She turns to Agerron again, speaking: "Except for that charter-thing? I heard that you helped Oleg and Svetlana defend their trading post. And that you took on the bandits at the camp downstream. That's all I heard, been some time since I've been to Olegs.
Oh, and there was talk of you helping Kobolds?"
Her voice is level as she speaks, making that last sentence as much a question as a statement.

Nero Vendel Thelaris |

Nero settles in for his watch as everyone else settles into their bedrolls. "Don't mind Ern, It's taken me forever to get him to stop calling me 'ELF', well that and staying upwind." he says with a chuckle, "If you don't mind mybe in the morning i could look over your pelts."

The night goes by without any further interruptions. When the morning comes, Karinna is quick to rise and pack her stuff, mounting her horse without much of a word and just says a quick "So long!" when leaving the camp.
Pharast 28th, Sunday
Maping the other half of this hex will take about until noon, maybe a bit less.
Right now you are about a day's ride away from Olegs.

"Think you might have cost us an ally, there, Ern. Might wana work on those people skills."
Back now!

Big Ern |

Big Ern snorts in derision, with a hint of snot flying from his nostril. "I've had enough of chicks who won't tell me what they're doing, or who pretend to not speak my language, or who act in a million other crazy ways. If I was king, I'd post a big sign at the border: NO CRAZY B$&@$ES. It'd probably make the most popular king ever, I bet."

After you break your camp as well, you ride out to map a bit more of the lands. Again, most of the time spent mapmaking is rather boring for some, as it's just a tree here, a tree there, (oh!) a game trail, another bunch of trees and some more trees, (beware!) a hedge, surrounded by even more trees.
Late in the morning (around 10 am) you see a figure up ahead between the trees. As you ride a bit closer, the plants on the ground around you seem to become alive, wrapping around the legs of your steeds.
Ref DC 12 to not be entangled

Tyr Thordinsjon |

Tyr grimaces as his mount whiny's and attempts to buck against the grasp of the now animate plant growth. Leaving the beast struggling, he slides from the saddle, ignores the weeds grasping at his legs and feat and draws his sword.
"So? Any one annoy a Druid of late? I thought we fixed that temple?" Tyr calls.
So, dismounting and weaponing up should be everything Tyr can do this round.
Ref:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Well...he's definitely grabbed by the plants, which is not a surprise. Str Check to break free in round 2?
Str Check:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Agerron |

"Son of a bi... I'm getting a little sick of these damn plants! It's enough to turn me vegetarian out of spite!"
Agerron also dismounts and draws his blade.
Reflex 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Completely ignoring the plants' feeble attempts to grab him, he begins striding towards the figure.
"RELEASE YOUR MAGIC NOW, OR I WILL MOUNT YOUR HEAD ON A STICK ON THIS TRAIL AS A FUTURE WARNING AGAINST STUPIDITY!!!" he bellows, clearly enraged at the attack.
Initimidate 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25

Tyr Thordinsjon |

Hoping to hear how Tyr's strength fares against the aggressive weeds.
Tyr, normally quiet and reserved, cannot resist the comment.
"Um...you think...?" To Nero.
"So, in case it's not a Druid, is there anything else people can think of that might want to help people work out on their physique by animating pants to entangle us?" Tyr strains against the foliage (And hopefully moves some distance)
"I mean, it's not like they dropped a fire-ball on us. Now that would be unpleasant..."
Sorry Nero, I couldn't resist the comment. Which is not to say Tyr is jumping in with the conclusion it's a Druid. Lots of other nasties roaming around in the fantasy world. (^_~)

As it is with magic, it doesn't always work uniform, affecting some of your horses more than others. While Tyr and Agerron get off of their horses, Nero grabs his bow and arrows, and Big Ern even spurs on his horse to ride towards the figure.
Tyr: You break free of the grass grasping at your feet
The figure up ahead does nothing threatening in response, but stand between the trees. Something about her seems pretty familiar to all of you, and now that you had a bit of a look at her, you think it might be Karinna, the trapper that was with you last night.
When Nero looses his arrow at her, she dodges the projectile in the last second, laughing at your attempt to hit her.
