DM Frogfoot |

Suny's wolf struggles to break free, but fails, whining! Escape Artist: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Initiative:
Caln and Arthur
Wolves
Suny, Jaxx, Arwen, Oozula
The mistwolves circle your party, growling, and concentrate their attacks on a few deputies!
Arthur, you get an AOO on wolf #6, as he approaches Caln hungrily.
1 attacks Suny as she's grappling with its packmate!
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
3 go for Caln (your spider gets an AOO):
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
1 for Arthur and Arwen each:
Attack vs Arthur: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Attack vs Arwen: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
And 2 go for the kobold bard:
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

.Suny. |

"Wheeee!" Squeals Sunny as her doggy bucks and spins. (^_^)
Even the snapping jaws of the other canines can't dim her enthusiasm.
*Continues to giggle and laugh exuberantly at the fun she's having.* (^_^)
:( Sorry I am that Sunnny be havin' so much fun while ta' other doggies are nippin' away at every one. :(

Arwen McLyntier |

Crap he says after being bitten.
Round 1
Rage (swift)
Spirit Slam: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 151d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Negative Energy
Pa Longsword: 1d20 + 10 - 4 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 10 - 4 - 1 - 2 = 171d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Arwen will stand up taking an Aoo

Oozula the gold kobold |

Oozula will take a 5 ft step back, and cast Glitterdust on the two wolves that attacked her. (Dc15 will Save or be blinded for 4 rounds or the save is sucessful. Save or not, they are surrounded by light that gives a -40 to stealth. No sr.)
there. Can't hide, and hopefully, can't see.

*HUGZ* Wishin' ye all'a very bestest fer gettin' better! (^_^)

DM Frogfoot |

Initiative:
Caln and Arthur
Wolves
Suny, Jaxx, Arwen, Oozula
Will save:
Wolf 1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Wolf 2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Both wolves fail their saves, howling and bumping into each other when Oozula's spell blinds them. When they do, you notice their forms insubstantiate and break apart slightly, their forms merging. The two wolves are becoming a single, larger wolf!
As Arwen stands, the wolf standing over him snaps at his face, leaving a bright red cut across his forehead!
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 2 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Caln will back out from where he is being surrounded and adopts a defensive stance, warding himself from wolf attacks. Meanwhile, the spider he summons will attack the nearest wolf, but miss:
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

.Suny. |

Suny continues to squeal, laugh and giggle as the wolf caught in her glomp/embrace continues to be snuggled. (^_^)

DM Frogfoot |

On the wolves' turn, the two wolves in the process of merging together throw their heads back and simultaneously howl in raspy, shuddering voices. The other wolves retreat into their misty forms, and all the fog about you congeals around the chimera wolf. The fog surrounding the creature obscures the transformation within, but also reveals the large room in which you stand. You see two large windows on the left wall, opposite the wolf-cloud, and a door on the wall to the south. Outside the windows you see a cold, wintry mountaintop looking down into a snowy valley.

Arthur Cogsworth |

On his turn, there is an electric hum as the power in Arthur's gun shoots its invisible beam into another wolf, as he 5ft steps up a square.
3d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5) = 15Fire damage
2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11Sonic damage
DC 17 fort for half fire
DC 17 reflex to not be on fire and take 1d6 fire in subsequent rounds.
DC 16 fort for half sonic and to not be dazed for a round

.Suny. |

Awe...where'd my doggy go?
Assuming Suny's doggy is also going away she 'moves' to be beside Oozula for 'flanking' and other defensive bonuses etc.

Arwen McLyntier |

Round 2
Arwen, still shaken, will face the wolf in front of him (taking a 5ft if necessary) and attack it.
Spirit Slam: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 241d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Negative Energy
PA Longsword: 1d20 + 10 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 10 - 1 - 2 = 181d8 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

DM Frogfoot |

Fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Do I roll two separate Fort saves?
DM roll: 1d100 ⇒ 11
Fire spat from Arthur's cleverly-constructed machine engulfs the fog cloud. You hear a scream of pain from inside the fog - it sounds like a ghostly wolf, but you detect an undercurrent voice in the scream that sounds almost like a man. Meanwhile, Caln casts Bless on the party: +1 to attack rolls and vs fear effects.
The fog whirls and pulses like a giant, angry amoeba. You can hardly see the wolf shape in the center anymore. An angry roar followed by a red glow in the center forms, and a blast of fire is fired in a straight line! Oozula, Arthur, roll a DC 16 Reflex save for half damage, and take Fire: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 6) = 14.
Meanwhile, angry spirits surround Arwen as he enters a state of calm fury. Images of his own failures continue to haunt him but he finds strength in his ancestors as they rage against the fog-beast. His longsword-strike goes wide but it disperses some of the fog with the force of his swing.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
The fire barely phases oozula, her fire heritage resisting much of what she didn't dodge. (4 fire resist) she throws the tar bomb at whatever the creature is. (Touch attack)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
1d4 ⇒ 2 (fire damage) if it hits, the creature catches on fire, and takes 1d6 every round until it makes a dc 15 reflex save to extinguish the fire as a full round action.

.Suny. |

Suny experiments...and shifts her position to float upside down and see what the effects are...

DM Frogfoot |

Oozula's tar bomb falls through the fog without hitting any creature, and you hear the jar impact and shatter on the hard stone floor. Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 The fire is quickly extinguished, and the creature makes to leap forward to attack...but tar coats its feet, and it is prevented from moving its full speed.
With a snarl, an enormous wolf lunges out of the fog and bites Arwen, the nearest target within reach! However, Arwen skillfully deflects the wolf's jaws with his blade.
Monstrous bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Oozula and Suny, you both feel an incredible windstorm forming outside the castle window, and you begin to float toward the window without intending to. You're being drawn outside the castle.

Arwen McLyntier |

Round 3
Seeing the large beat blinded Arwen will aim his sword thrust toward its massive head
Longsword: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 10 - 2 = 201d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Spirit Slam: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 101d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Negative energy

.Suny. |

(O_o)
"Eeeek!" Suny squeaks as the 'phantom wind' begins to pull her towards the nasty things outside.
Will Save:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Suny floats as quickly as she can to/at the big mist doggy.
CMB:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
And attempts to latch onto the biggest thing she can see.

DM Frogfoot |

Arwen's longsword strike is enough to elicit a keening wail of pain from the mistwolf. Staggering, tripping on the burning and sticky tar that Oozula had thrown and blinking the flashing lights out of its eyes, it roars and throws itself at the wall opposite from all of you. Arwen slashes at it, but it ignores the blow and bursts through the stone wall of the room that you're in. Wind whistles through the hole, which reveals another large room filled with waterfalls, and only Suny's tight grip on the window keeps her from being blown out. However, with the mistwolf down, the wind outside similarly subsides. Level up to 5!

.Suny. |

I dun't like this place! It's creepy!" Sunny exclaims, even as she floats over and hugs Oozula for moral support...or, given their state, any kind of support.

DM Frogfoot |

Arwen gathers himself, his armor settling into a more comfortable position again now that he's out of combat. Suny, when you were blown nearly out of the window, you saw that the castle just ends in clouds below, with no sign of support you could see beneath the mountain.
Through the hole that the mistwolf punched in the wall during its escape, you see a small room containing nothing but a large chest, off to the side, and before you, what appears to be a massive cave with waterfalls everywhere. You count at least 10.
Under the sounds of rushing water, you can hear the faint sound of music - a lute.

Arthur Cogsworth |

"Ah!"
Expecting the hissing to be some mist snake or something, Arthur spins around and has his science blasting gun aimed directly at Caln's chest, he quickly lowers it when he sees who it is.
"Oh! I uh. I uh. Thanks. I mean uh. Sorry...."
Arthur looks away, biting his lower lip as his face turns bright red.

Posting from phone
At the sight and sound of cascades of water, Suny's large blue eyez seem to grow even wider in awe and wonder. Quickly she 'zooms' off, flitting into the newly revealed space and looking about in wonderment.
Perception:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

DM Frogfoot |

Suny runs out into the underground cave that appears to be connected to the wall of the castle. All around you are tall flowers with stalks as thick as tree trunks, and you can't run 20 feet without your feet getting wet in a brook of some sort. The bizarre scene is made even stranger by the etherealness of this place, and you see Suny bouncing somewhat higher than she ordinarily would as she explores the immediate area. Suny, you're mostly distracted by the sights and sounds all around you, but you're able to see scorch marks on the ground and smell smoke smell lingering in the air.

.Suny. |

Here... I thought I were still all 'floaty'?
Will Save:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Suny laughs brightly as she gleefully skips about, clearly enjoying splashing about in the water which is so abundant.
Her random wanderings slowly taking her closer to what ever it was that might have caused the scorching and the burnin'-ation.
Perception:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 (^_^)

*Continues to giggle and splash about in the water...Including splashing any one in 'reach' randomly.* (^_^)

DM Frogfoot |

The chest isn't locked. Inside, you find a softly glowing golden light that surprises you. You brandish your longsword at it reflexively, and something strange happens. When you hold the longsword out, the light seems to wrap around it from inside the chest. You feel a slight tugging on the blade - nothing to cause you to drop it, just a light tugging. Suddenly, the light subsides, retreating to within the confines of the chest again, and your blade feels lighter, stronger, more supple, with runes all along the blade that weren't there before. They glow with a soft blue sheen.
Mechanically, your weapon "ranked up" as a magic longsword. If it was a regular longsword, now it's a +1 longsword, if it was a +1 it's a +2 now. I tried to remind myself of whether you have a magic longsword yet but I couldn't recall :)
You also see that your armor has changed in appearance. Where before you were wearing a light hide shirt, mostly unadorned, you now bear the crests of eagles and a flowing cape that doesn't impede your movement. In fact, the additions to your armor are ethereal themselves. No mechanical change to the armor, but you look quite different.
Outside, you can see Suny gazing at black scorch marks on the ground. Suny, it looks like a huge bonfire burned here, but you see no traces of the fuel that might have caused it or any sort of fire pit. It's as if a bonfire sprung out of nothing, burned for awhile, and disappeared again.

.Suny. |

As in 'Magic'?

Caln |

Caln shakes himself as if awaken from a horrible dream. This place must be affecting me...it seems like days have passed but it was just minutes.
Caln follows Suny into the waterfall cavern. He looks around to see if there is any sign of where the burn marks come from...

Oozula clambers past Arwen's magical transformation into the cave. On her way down, she spots an enormous canine footprint in the loam. The prints lead back toward the castle after bursting through the wall, and around the corner of the outer wall beyond your sight. You can detect nothing else of note in the cave.
