MAP

Once the grindylows are all dead, the group returns to the rigging to continue to assist the rest of the crew as the storm has appeared to redouble its efforts of sinking the ship this night. The whole crew works through the night and as the sun slowly starts to rise the storm slowly starts to let up. However, before anybody can really see their surroundings the ship lurches to a sudden stop with a loud crack and boom.

Plugg catches himself on the rail Mes check the dang ship for any damage downstairs, Scourge take some men and check the outside of the ship for damage.

Scourge takes his brigade with him and they jump over the railing. Scourge continues to bark orders at the remaining crew to check around while he goes to find some maps to try to figure out where they are out.

Balthe you immediately realize that you cannot find Sandara, and come to think of it you do not see Crimson either.

After "interrogating" several sailors Balthe finds out that nobody really knows anything, as everybody was so busy and preoccupied.

Everybody roll survival or perception or nature. Mes roll me a Craft(ships) or Profession (engineer) or (sailor)

Mes if you get 15 or higher:

to surmise that although the ship is not in immediate
danger of sinking, she’ll eventually sink unless repairs
are made, even if the bilge pumps are operated 24 hours
a day.

15 Survival or Perception:

Upon searching for clues you find Sandara's holy symbol stuck in the railing and it appears that at least her and possibly Crimson were taken overboard.

15 Nature:

You are certain that the grindylow's took crew members as that is what probably fueled the ones to attack the ship and look for more sailors to attack.

After emerging from the hold he reports to Plugg.

Ain't too good, Cap'n. The hold's busted up and even if we man the bilges all day and night we won't be able to sail away. She needs repairs and that's a fact.

Done with his report, he walks over to Balthe and puts his hand on his friend's shoulder.

I'm sorry Balthe. I found her medallion stuck in the railing. With her and Crimson missing I can only guess that she was lost overboard.

He puts the medallion in Balthe's hand and sighs.

I don't know if we'll be able to find her with the ship busted like this and us so far from where she was gone. She had to go overboard before the grindylow's attacked, there's no way she would have missed that fight.

When he sees Plugg, Holgur gets right in his face and points out the corpses of the grindylows. "Them other things like that took Crimson and Sandara. We need to get them or be shortened even more hands than we are now. Plus, it will encourage them to attack again while we are stuck here."

I don't care about them, they couldn't defend themselves then it is their own dang fault. Now you 5 go get the water barrels below deck and fill them with water from the inland, you have 24 hours before the repairs should be finished and we will be taking off with or without you.

Plugg turns his back from the group and walks away barking orders at the other pirates to start dismantling part of the deck to repair the boat.

Jasmine you also realize that when Sandara and Crimson were abducted that you could not have been too far away from island, and you feel fairly confident that the grindylows have taken Sandara and Crimson to their lair, probably to their master for either food or sacrifice and as long as you get their in time, they should still be alive.

I do not have access to my laptop and therefore no maps about what the island looks like or where you guys will be landing on the island. I will get to those tonight.

Do you think this island would be where they are? We'd need maps and better reckoning to find out which direction we went in to make sure there aren't any nearby islands.

That was my metagame reason not to attack Plugg! Do we refill our HP/Per day items at level up? Also, could I sabotage the remaining water casks so there wasn't anything to drink for Plugg and Scourge except grog? Or are there no water casks down there besides the ones we're filling?

Mesdoram speaks quietly with Balthe as he prepares to disembark.

Maybe we should wait and see if we can find Sandara and Crimson - right now the odds are even and we're down a spell caster - not odds I like personally.

I will say that HP is refilled but not per day items. They want you to 2 to 3 barrels to fill with water, as the wreckage as either spilled or destroyed what remains of the water supply. Also I made a mistake you guys have 48 hours before the ship leave.

Map's not up yet but I think we tore a hole in our hull when we landed on it. I'd bet sizable though, this has a part three feel of the AP to it since we're being given 48 hours to refill water casks which wouldn't take that long.

As you guys look out at the island, you see a fairly large island, covered with thick dense jungles and a mountain on the Northwest side that you would guess to be around 500ft high with steep sides and covered with trees. The waters around Bonewreck Island are crystal clear, but are also littered with corral reef all around the island, from what you can see. Making a quick scan you figure that the safest place you can land is a small open beach (C3), but you are unsure about the other side of the island due to the thick jungles that cover the island.

I am just going to post the actual map, as I have trouble getting the stupid location letter/number combo's off the map, I will trust that you won't metagame too much with the map lol. Let me know what you will be doing.

Four Skulls, I should not a few things, Mes would be fairly certain that there is no way the Man's Promise is going to be leaving before 48 hours due to the damage, and he was the one who saw it first hand. Secondly, as of right now there is no extra drinking water in the holds as the barrels were either spilled or damaged during the storm/wreck.

Taking his compass out, he quickly orients on the island and sites a direction from the Man's Promise so they won't get lost.

Nothing to do now but get started, and hope we can get some answers out of our friend here.

We'd better interrogate it on land however. Everyone get what you need and bring food, I'm worried about the island if there are grindylow nearby there could be worse things as well.

She would have made sure four Skulls has stabilized this creature so it would not die too quickly. With that she removes it's index finger. "Oh do stop your whining, it's only a flesh wound." There is a long pregnant pause. "See I'm what you would refer to as shaman and I can use your knuckle, flesh, and nail in my powerful magics." She begins to flay the flesh off the creature's detached digit. She precisely pulls the finger nail off and shows it to him before tucking it away in her spell pouch..

"Now we were about to talk about where you and your clan lives."

As your dingy approaches the island, you can see small, twisted “statues” made of the sinew-twined, scrimshaw covered skeletons of their prey. These statues lurk in the shallows of the sea, and hang from palm trees on the fringes of the jungle. No two are alike; each is the product of a twisted imagination.

Jasmines attempt to intimidate the grindylow fails, however when Balthe slams his fist the barely awaken grindylow shakes,

Upon landing on the beach you guys see even more "statues" hanging off the various trees and realize that there is one path and veering off that path may result in getting lost. The trees are extremely thick.
