Bad connection issues all weekend. Posting for Aramant to keep things moving.

Took me until 11 am PST today to get in from sometime last night. Seems to go down overnight, and take a couple hours to fix after Paizo gets in the office.

Aramant, we haven't heard from you in a few days. Hope everything is okay with you.

Perhaps we should move the camp 4 miles northeast?

Wouldn't that be pretty much where the wolf den is? Wouldn't it be better to move northwest?

The den is NW, not NE. NE is directly away from Phaendar.

I'm going to work on gettin a better map up later tonight.

GM: How do you feel about small characters using medium sized daggers? Would Eustoma be able to use the +1 dagger as a small short sword?

Yes, that's fine.

Hi,

I'm posting this on all my PbPs, as player or GM - I had a family emergency last Monday, due to an accident, and had not been able to post or even communicate of my absence. In parallel, as a consequence of the situation not improving, my undivided attention on such matter will be required on the months to follow and, therefore, I'm stepping out of most of my activity online. I apologize for the inconveniences it might cause and I wish you all the best, and fun on your games. Thanks all for the understanding and for the opportunity to play with you.

The Chess / adsapiens

I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope everything will be okay for you and your family members. Take care of yourself. :(

We could split up the woodchopping: 2 people work 2 hours, and one works one hour (Wulfram can work 2). Wulfram's got his Healing Hex to help us recover afterwards (once per day cure light wounds on each person).

Male Dwarf Geokineticist 17 HP 143(296)/325; AC 28/20/22 (defensive training) (+2 v goblins, +4 v giants); DR 13/Adamantine; 35% crit/sneak attack negation; Acid Resist 10 Saves +27/+19/+15; +5 init, +28 Per; 5/15 burn, 3/3 Internal Buffer

Sounds good to me. I can take two, no problem (Heck, I could likely take all 5 if I don't roll too high- but when has that ever been a problem ;))

EDIT: May as well roll for damage.

2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3

3 points? Hah, not even worth the Healing Hex. It'll heal on its own in two hours.

Let me know the NPC assignments for today and I'll make the rolls later.

I should have time tonight to finally update the map. :P

Male Dwarf Geokineticist 17 HP 143(296)/325; AC 28/20/22 (defensive training) (+2 v goblins, +4 v giants); DR 13/Adamantine; 35% crit/sneak attack negation; Acid Resist 10 Saves +27/+19/+15; +5 init, +28 Per; 5/15 burn, 3/3 Internal Buffer

So, question about raising wolves:
If we have Edran raise the wolves, and have an NPC Aid him, would that count as two people for the purposes of tending to them, or just one? As one person can raise up to three, would we need to have three more people raising the last pup (+4 base, +2 Aid twice to make a take 10 DC 17)?

Also, how long is it until Aubrin is back on her feet? She could also raise the pups fairly easily.

Edran and another NPC can work on raising all the wolves together.

Aubrin needs another 3 days to fully convalesce.

As promised, a better map. Updated link in campaign info tab too.

Male Dwarf Geokineticist 17 HP 143(296)/325; AC 28/20/22 (defensive training) (+2 v goblins, +4 v giants); DR 13/Adamantine; 35% crit/sneak attack negation; Acid Resist 10 Saves +27/+19/+15; +5 init, +28 Per; 5/15 burn, 3/3 Internal Buffer

Okay, as for jobs, I think it will be:

Edran (with Aid from Felicia) raising the wolves.
Job, Sadie, Connor, and Amy maintaining our flock

and the following pairs gathering more sheep:
Delvin/Reshell, Karth/Nyree, Giselda/Lisa, and Wendy/Jinny.

Kining is scouting, then Jet, Bereck, Farrow, and Cildon are foraging. If they can, Rhyna, Jace, and Karrga will work on building more shelters.

That look good to everyone?

NPC Die rolls:
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Survival: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Survival: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (16) - 2 = 14
Survival: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6

Not a great day. 2 more sheep, successful scout, 8 Provision Points, and only 2 shelters.

The location on the mite's map is not too far east of us (4 miles perhaps?). We should probably go there next. The question is whether we should move the camp again right away, or see what's at the map location first.

Sorry for the delay in posting. For some reason I can't connect through my home wifi network, only 4G on my phone (other websites are fine). Router factory reset hasn't helped. I'll make a gameplay post in 3 hours or so.

Paizo's website is still having issues. This is the first time I have been abke to connect today.

I've noticed that for the last couple of weeks the boards go down in he middle of the day or late on Sunday, and aren't available until about 10:30 Monday morning.

My guess is that something causes the boards to go down, and there isn't anyone around on the weekend. Then it take a couple of hours to restart everything on Monday after they get in the office.

Yeah, it has been rough. I'll try to keep up, but my current schedule leaves me busy most of the day, so if the site goes down in the evening, I may not be able to update....

The only way my desktop can connect right now is through my phone's Personal Hotspot. If I try to connect through my home wifi network, it just times out.

GM: How far is the Chernsardo Ranger redoubt from the location on the mite map?

We could move the camp east if we wanted to, which would bring it to approximately the location on the mite map. I suppose it could be a problem if there was a substantial monster presence at that spot.

It's about 8 miles south, in the little copse of trees just below the main part of the forest.

I'm able to connect normally!

OK, it looks like the mite map location isn't on the way to the Ranger's redoubt. Perhaps the camp should stay where it is, while we go to the redoubt.

Paizo says they know what the issue is and are working on it. Hopefully it's fixed soon. I'll be here and post when I can.

Please welcome Karla Teg to the game! She should provide the arcane support and social skills you need to round out the party. Assuming you can successfully rescue her from the hobgoblins, that is. ;)

Karla, when you're ready, you can start posting in the main thread. You're a bit tied up at the moment, but the hobgoblins didn't finish tightening the ropes completely, so you can try to wriggle free with an Escape Artist check.

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the selection DM. I hope I can contribute meaningfully to the group.

No prob; I just won't use Pushing Infusion. Doubt I hit anyway.

You did hit, actually, if only just. Right on the money for the archer's AC. :)

I will be out of town from Saturday the 17th through Friday the 23rd. I will try to check in and post if I can, but I probably won't be able to post a whole lot until I return.

Although Pele can touch Rogar to deliver a Healing Hex, Wulfram can't communicate with her easily to get her to do it.

I'm actually not that bad off, relatively. I was undamaged- I had forgotten to update my health last night, and after DR 2 (unless the Hobs are using Adamantine arrows), my health is still 7. Not ideal, to be sure, but at least I took the crit and not someone else. Barring another crit or everyone hitting me, I can survive another round.

Forgot to factor in the DR, Rogar. So only 19 damage.

Rogar is 10 feet away from Wulfram after the 5 foot step.

Karla is able to free herself this round, so she can join the fight next round.

Still need actions for Eustoma and Sia.

FYI, a game I'm a player in is recruiting. Zeitgeist is an amazing AP.

I can attest to that. This past year, we finished our tabletop Zeitgeist campaign after 5 and a half years of playing. I also had the privilege of doing the Pathfinder conversion work for about one-third of the adventure path. It is hands-down THE best AP we've played, and it comes with the highest recommendations.
