Ok, I chenneled for 2 once, just want to make sure all the bandits that are still alive are tied up before I start healing everyone. Don't really want to use CLW on her. Also might want to wait until we deal with the other bandits if they have raised the alarm.

Male Human Bard 4

Bronwyn smiles, relieved that the battle seems won. "Well, sadly it didn't work out that well, it seems these bandits do not quite like the clink of gold coins. The way they charged for Lukan it looked like he was a elven maid wearing only gold and jewels."

Lukan continues to charge after the last bandit which is running to his allies. He wants to make sure that Jameson doesn't get overwhelmed by the rest of them at the camp.

Going to roll my attacks just in case I get close enough to attack one of them before Jameson kills them all =).

Nod, I am attempting to ride down the runner. By the looks of the conversation I have 4 or 5 turns to do this. ;)

I was following James on horseback and going to cast sleep to stop the guy if necessary. Everyone else has been bound. I think that Lukan is also following on foot.

I'm tying up the bandits with Cambyl. I figure if there's trouble the others will come back or my latest perception check would let me know to start making my way to the outpost to help them out. If its the latter I'll spend my next turn to run through the forest at 4x speed and depending on how close I am I'll either run some more or shoot someone with my bow.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Okey, well I've said earlier the sleep spell failed and the AoO from Jameson hit, but didn't take him down.

I mounted my horse in Round 3 I thought after the sleep spell went off and ride as far toward James/the last bandit as I can.

If I get within 30 feet. I will cast Acid Splash.

Seeing how far the bandit has made it Jameson waits for the others to finish with the sleeping bandits.

"Hurry fellows, we're about to have company."

"I think we should wait on waking Kressel up. If we have to deal with more bandits, we don't want her escaping."

Round 4, Init 4

Lukan has been running for 2 rounds.

Lukan rounds a tree and stops in his tracks, next to Jameson. "Thought you could use some company." He prepares for the next wave of bandits.

Just so I'm not confused, how long does it take us to tie everyone up? Do I need to do heal checks to determine if the bandits are alive or dead? My channel will stabilize any that are dying. The priority for tying them up would be the magically sleeping ones first, Kressel next, and then any unconscious ones.

Human Ranger 3 / Rogue 2

I'm guessing its either a standard or full round action to tie up an enemy. It's part of the grapple action so it wouldn't be any longer. If that's the case, I'll tie up a third bandit so you can spend this round channeling. Looking back over the posts, Jameson has attacked twice. If this is still the same combat session that gave Cambyl and I 2 rounds to tie up bandits.

Ganit can tell by the looks of the camp that alarms had been raised. "Cambyl, toss me that rope and heal yourself. I'll rope that last one. Expect trouble soon.

Male Human Bard 4

Bronwyn mounts up, and looks at the distance to where the bandit ran.

"These bandits we faced are only servants of the shadowy Stag Lord, and he surely has a bigger camp elsewhere. I do not wish to take the chance the surviving bandits could run there and warn everyone of our approach.

The knight moves toward that path, and suggests:

"We should mount up and finish the bandits in Kressel's camp rather than waiting for them. All bandits are cowards at heart, and the defeat they suffered here will probably make them avoid us and seek strenght in numbers, instead of trying to attack us with their numbers reduced."

"Go, secure them! I will make sure these here do not escape. I will follow after and help as I may when these are secure."

Yeah, ditto.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

Just been outposting me. Catrina is too far away as we decided earlier that since it's difficult terrain everyone moves at half-speed so can't get that close. Shame, those were great rolls.

The bandits all run into battle with blades out and screaming.
"For Tha Stag Lord!" they all run in, however such a distance they don't get off a charge.

Lukan lifts his scimitar high above the sleeping bandit's neck with the point bearing down upon it. He thrusts it deep into the dirt beside the bandit and pulls a rope from his backpack.

"You are lucky there are so many bleeding hearts around... I'd have your head if it was up to me."

Bending the bandits' arms and feet into truly uncomfortable positions, he goes about, tying the men up. With gruff, uncaring demeanor he pulls the rope tight against their wrists and ankles.

Ganit calls out to Lukan, "I hear Carina dyes her hair!" jk :p Nice crit James!

The weight of fear is lifted from Ganit's shoulders as he watches the horseman cut down the last bandit. We managed to incapacitate all of them so the chances of this getting back to the Staglord is lessened. Or at the very least delayed.

"I've used all of my rope and I'm not about to kill a man while he sleeps. The rest of these men are yours to do with as you see fit," he says as he scans his scattered teammates. He then focuses his attention to Lukan, "After all their fates are sealed."

He begins walking towards the most prized capture of the day, stopping by Carina to say, "Given your temper, miss, I would have never figured you for such a pacifist."

When he arrives at the slumbering bandit queen he drops to his knee so that he can look at her at eye level and shakes her by both shoulders until she wakes. "You will answer every question I ask you. The violence your Staglord is capable of is mere child's play to the likes of ours. Your only bargaining chip is the worthlessness of your name and life. The thought of your blood brewing rust upon my blade is enough for me consider letting you keep them. You will tell me everything," Ganit demands in quiet growl, each word deliberately clear and slowly enunciated. "You will tell me everything or I will drown you in the blood of your subordinates.

You suddenly see the Orc witchdoctor staring at you and speaking in the strange yet bizarrely understandable tongue. You kill the enemy, you never leave any survivors. He then walks to the sleeping dwarf in front of him and slices the warrior's throat. Prisoners will only get you attacked.

You suddenly see Carina's eyes go blank for a moment while she stands unmoving. After about 20 seconds, she comes to with a shake of her head and finishes tying the last bandit. You also see her mumbling something and faintly hear something about . . . never . . . control . . .

Male Human Bard 4

Good cop/bad cop?

Bronwyn hangs in the back for a moment, taking a couple seconds to remind himself of past experiences and a clever trick in particular.

He stands 30 feet away from Ganit and Kressel, and uses charm person DC 18 on her.

The knight approaches Ganit and the prisoner, touching the ranger's shoulder forcefully to push him back from the captive. He offers the man a quick wink, hoping against hope that he gets in on the scheme.

"No Ganit, not again. We need answers, not another episode like that one with Happs. Bloody mess, that was."

Bron crouches, leveling his eyes with the bandit's.

"Pardon my good friend Ganit here, his mother was killed by bandits such as yourself, and he tends to get a bit... bloodthirsty in these situations. My name is Bronwyn, pleasure to meet you, and I fear I'm your only ally in this camp."

He quickly takes a look at the bloodthirsty Ganit and Sir Jameson, covered in blood. Looking to his left, he gets his waterskin and offers a gulp to the woman.

"In the name of our bonds of friendship, I ask you to help us. My companions here all think you're a heartless killer, but I know better, and I can't say I would haven't done the same if I was in your place. Please help me prove them wrong and you are sure to profit from our friendship. Deny us and we'll have no choice but to execute us, though I'm not the Stag Lord and I'll show you the mercy honor demands."

I'll channel energy until I'm healed up.

Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 1 hp healed
Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 1 hp healed

Well, that's a couple of really bad rolls... total of 4hp healed including my previous channel

Adding some rp to the healing, since it will give a few hp back to kressel as well.

Cambyl approaches Kressel as he prepares to heal himself, listening to Bronwyn's speech.

"I may not be an ally, but take some of Cayden's blessing for your injuries. We did hit you pretty hard." He smiles at her.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Obviously, that will not work, so she will probably get a bonus on her will save against this.

Hoping to do so stealthily, Cambyl casts Charm Person on Kressel. DC 14

Male Human Fighter (Armor Master) 4

Ouch, no luck today... Cayden must be passed out drunk somewhere in Celestia or wherever.

Lukan drags the bandits together and ties them to one another. He stands over them and watches them carefully with his sword to his side. He retorts to Ganit, "Well Brevoy was kind enough to send a contingent to Oleg's. They can deal with these bandits now."
