Its ok, thanks for letting me know. I've been busy on my end and I can sense some general busyness as well as Kip's absence. I'm essentially waiting for discussions to end, a loot split to be done (if at all), a map update by Malthir and once the group appears to be ready, i'll narrate how the tourney goes.
I'd like to know-
Who among the PC's will be participating.
What events are going to be run (be specific please).
And i'm going to make some rolls and handle it all in one narration, as once the tourneys out of the way there's not much else that needs to be handled except the magical raising of certain characters, anything I personally have planned and the kingdom building turn.
Malthir Al Dagon
Malthir plans to participate of course and any of the other Guardians who wish to.
So I have a suggestion for the grand into and some of the rest of the tourney.
Basically the Guardians who wish to participate arrive on the scene flying in from the sky. Malthir and Kalev land, larger than life due to the enlarges that have also been cast on them as well.
Casimir can into the tournament, he is probably our best public speaker.
Fenna can announce the events as they come up as well as tend for the injured.
I am not sure if we really want a single elimination tournament or just a show of arms though?
If not a "true" tournament the we could have Malthir and Cas go back to their old days and putting on a duel, Kalev could fight several Hellknights by himself or even Ricter?
Or we could truly do like a bracket and fight for subdual until someone wins? Any prefernces Fenna it is your tourney afterall.

Sorry all... I am finally back from my extended long weekend out of town. Will post up some stuff later this evening.
Casimir
I'd like a bit of feedback on my Leadership cohorts
So far, my thoughts are:
1) a middleaged female human diviner - possibly a harrower.
2) male half-elf druid - human father a druid from Sevenarchs, mother an elf.
3) male human Pathfinder (class undecided, probably some fighter/rogue mix) - old buddy of Casimir's from the Restov dueling schools gone off to Absalom to join the Pathfinders.

Ok, so Kip and Casimir aren't going to participate in any tournament events.
Who is participating, and in what events.
My understanding is-
Event 1- Jousting
PC Participants- ???
Event 2- Strongman
PC Participants- ???
Event 3- Archery
PC Participants- ???
Event 4- Single Combat Elimination Tourney
PC Participants- Ricter, ???
Give me some clarity and i'll put a large post together. Probably the only event that we'll go into detail with is single combat, i'll be handling the others quite abstractly.

Malthir will try his hand at Jousting and the Single Combat

As for the loot split... I believe we are only talking about the treasure discovered in the troll fortress yes? If that it is the case, there is only coin and valuables to liquidate and divide... unless I am missing something.
The list as I read it is:
83 sp and 201 gp.
502 sp and 188 gp.
A small statue of a dragon carved from exotic wood worth 200 gp.
A gold necklace with a jade pendant worth 250 gp.
Several pieces of minor jewelry worth 225 gp.
Two medium quality gemstones together worth 150 gp.
Three bottles of fine wine together worth 27 gp.
An engraved silver tankard worth 50 gp.
184 cp, 1,205 sp, and 152 gp.
Giving us a total of 184 cp, 1790 sp & 1443 gp.
Divided 7 ways equals 7 cp, 9 sp & 231 gp each including the group party share. (With exchange... and if my math is correct :)
If this is agreeable, I will add it to the treasure spread sheet... (and update the almanac while I am at it. ;)

"Welcome to the Strongman competition."
"All competitors must leave their belts at the door."
For this reason Ricter will be steering clear of strongman and limiting ihmself to single combat. I would have liked to have a crack at jousting but I seem to have missed out on putting ranks in ride, so that would probably not end well.

No magic tricks, eh...of course not. Wouldn't be a fair fight otherwise - said the lightly armored 3/4 BAB bard facing the full BAB fighter with a tower shield and a boat-load of combat feats :-P
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to outmaneuver him...oh wait, 25x25 ft enclosed area with no terrain features.
What can I say....challenge accepted!
Casimir
A couple of questions before I make my first single combat move:
1) Am I allowed to inspire myself?
2) Is there any way for me to alter the terrain of the combat area - make some of it difficult terrain, put physical obstacles between my opponent and me, that sort of thing?

I thought it might Joana :P. They didn't build a roof over him at least :D.
Well, as for your complaints Casimir, trust me when I say Signifer Grachius is suffering at least as much if not more than you are from the lack of spellcasting allowed, as a medium BAB character who is used to spells like divine favor, shield of faith etc. bolstering him!
1- Bardic music would count as magic so you'd be on very iffy ground rules-wise.
2. Other than possibly sundering bits of the fence and scattering them around or grabbing spectators and throwing them over the area, not particularly.
The single combat tourney was really styled off a typical medieval grand melee and frankly, with the lack of input I had to work off, I don't think i've really made it so harsh for anyone. Sorry if you feel i've been intentionally penalising some people over others, because that was not my intention.
In the interest of getting the game plodding on again, I made a lot of calls to be able to run this smoothly without spending months of RL time on it.

I've decided I feel more sorry for Malthir :P.
It would be nice to see some people posting today. Trying to get the pace up again- I know it was a weekend when I made that long post but now its a bright, sunny monday- clearly great weather to sit inside and type, yes? :D
Edit: Okoya, I spare you from the whip of PC nagging. I saw your message in SS, sorry to hear work has you working crazy hours!
Edit 2: Edit ninja!

Sorry for my lack of posting... In the middle of a big project and working stupid hours for the last couple of days. I am either eating, sleeping or at the job site. Should be done by Wednesday. Please DMNPC Kip as needed. Thanks. And Sorry again.
Edit: Thanks. :)

Sorry for the delay, I was away for the weekend, and I've been pretty tired by the time I got back somewhere I could've logged on.

I'm always hesitant to go into too much detail about things outside of my own character, to avoid stepping on toes. Sorry if I ended up leaving it too vague, but what you've done is great and fairly in line with what I had in mind (except the location; I figured that the ground beneath Edric's monument might be a bit steep for our purposes, but I might be underestimating the scale of the map).

I'd also like to add that any tones of complaint in my post were firmly tongue-in-cheek, and were in no way a critique of Alex. I'm having a lot of fun with my duel so far, especially since it forces me to get creative with the combat rules.
I already said as much and more to Alex over msn, just wanted it on the record here.
Great job, GM AK.

I believe that Kalev has the edge on this tourney.
He is a little more of a straight-up fighter with feats built to that vs. the builds like me and Ricter that relay on our special abilities to really buff us up or magic like Cas.
No complaints, just summing up for the odds makers :)
Now I wish I would have gotten to the natural armor bonus Malthir is wanting to get :)
