Drakr |

"Woh!" Drakr starts with surprise as Rakish launches his attack!
If sleep works
Drakr takes his holy symbol in hand and with a quick prayer casts sacred flame, but doesn't unleash the fire, readying to set it on Ellison if he makes a hostile action.
Readying to cast sacred flame on Ellison.
If Sleep doesn't work
Drakr steps in front of Glenda and with a quick chant, holding his holy symbol out in front of him, he summons roaring golden flames that rush up around the Dragon.
Sacred Flame (Radiant Damage) (Dex Save DC13 for no damage) : 1d8 ⇒ 8

Rakish |

That was fantastic, Seraphyna! Sleep gives advantage and auto crit if it hits!
Rakish will put away one axe and grab the other with both hands in a move posed to chop off the dragon's head.
Attack, adv: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Crit: 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 2 = 10
Rakish slams his axes into the flesh if the beast with the intent to use them to climb on its back.
Use the above two rolls as the attack rolls, if they hit:
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Damage 2: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Athletics for Climbing: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

The drakeling snarls in fury and curses in response to Seraphyna's guttural speech, then his eyelids droop. He blinks once, twice, then flops to the ground in a heap.
Ellison, shocked and taken aback, stands defensively but does not attack, So... what now?
He seems to have a hand on a scroll, as if ready to cast, but his heart is clearly not in it...
He watches, but makes no move as Rakish severs the head of Rythnax with one sweep of his axe!
So... what now? ;)

The dragon was the one that forced ya to do this, was it not? Glenda says to Ellison.
Come back with us to Phlan now. You're safe. No more blood need to be shed today, Glenda tells him.
And you better, because Rakish's axe will take yer head off as quickly as he did the Drake's! Glenda says.
Not sure if I need to roll Persuasion again, but if so..
Persuasion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Advantage for Glenda: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
It was the Cult... Ellison softly corrects, I... am done.
The scribe collapses to the stone that he was sitting one before you arrived.
Ellison fully surrenders. He has one remaining scroll on his person, and one remaining book, Lords and Lineages of Phlan, wrapped in a bloody shirt at his feet.
Just realized that I didn't change the map. It is updated now.
There is a small crawlspace under the huge boulder by the campsite that Ellison will tell you is Rythnax' hovel, if asked.
Rakish notices, oddly, that there is a little harness on Rythnax, that holds a little metal case to the drakeling's chest.

Glenda Huckleberry |

Glenda crawls into the lair. Dragons must have a hoard right?
She emerges and informs the rest of her findings.
Plenty of coins in there. Some armour, a magnifying glass and a scroll. I think Sera deserves the scroll she says.

Rakish |

Rakish, dripping in swamp water and dragon blood, says to the man, Thief, you will tell us what else you have stolen and where you have taken it.
Meanwhile, he cuts down the metal case and hands it to his companions.

Ellison nods at the case. Within, Krissina finds the missing pages about the Pool of Radiance.
The scroll is of detect magic.
You are essentially done. Is anyone a Harper or Emerald Enclave? Anyone want to do anything else before I wrap up?

Rakish |

Rakish is Emerald Enclave. It's why he attacked the dragon so quickly.
Since Rakish promised to return stolen goods, he wanted to know if the thief stole anything else so he could return it.

Ellison shrugs his shoulders, That is all I took, everything else I had was lost in my backpack when the carrion crawlers set upon me.
I figured that Rakish was, but if anyone else is, they will also get the extra renown. :)

![]() |

Okay, it is pretty easy to copy the info, if you want the extra renown, if you don't really care then you can just take the one.
I will be figuring out the totals, and if anyone wants me to update the logsheets for them, either link them here or email me at noelmock@gmail.com

Glenda Huckleberry |

Who put you up to this? What do they want with the Pool of Radiance? Glenda asks.
The party brings back Ellison to Phlan and let the authorities decide what to do with him.
I guess Glenda is one of the Harpers

![]() |

The Cult of the Dragon... They sent me to find out all that I could about the Pool of Radiance from the library. I don't really know why they want to know. The Whisperer does not share what he does not feel we need to know, Ellison shrugs, It does not matter much now. We all know how justice is done with the Black Fist anyway.

Sera seems conflicted between the happiness of a job well done, and the sorrow over killing such a rare beastie as a dragon... until she realizes she just help KILL A DRAGON! She soon is bouncing between her companions retelling the story of what they just saw like a small child. And then Rakish went... and then I said... He was all oh no!.. and KERSPLAT!
Sera pays the scroll a little mind, instead looking over the dragon corpse. Hey Rakish? Any chance your carving thingamabobs could turn a few of these teeth into a necklace or something? I feel the defeat of my first dragon deserves a bit of a trophy.
When Ellison comments about justice, she chimes in We were just told to bring back the books. I don't recall anything having been mentioned about the thief? If you have anything that might convince us, we may be persuaded to, oh I don't know, thoroughly examine that lair over their for a good few minutes...
What? she's chaotic... :D

Glenda Huckleberry |

Glenda shakes her head. If you hadn't killed that scribe, the outcome might be different. I'm for turning him to the Fists, but a murderer is a murderer. He might not be able to resist the lure of the Whimperer... oh I mean, the Whisperer again, and I think he might have more clues as to what the Cult of the Dragon is up to.

![]() |

Ellison's shoulders slump as Glenda mentions the murder, utterly defeated. Yeah... the librarian.

Drakr |

"I'm with Glenda. " Drakr says gruffly, " If you didn't want to face the Fist you shouldn't have turned to crime!"
The Dwarf takes some rope from his pack and binds Ellison's hands behind his back. " We took the job and we're going to do it right. "

Rakish |

While his companions are interrogating the thief, Rakish starts cutting out teeth from the wyrmling.
At some point later, he spends his time carving pictures into the teeth, like scrimshaw on a whale bone.
He carves a dragon on each one and rubs the carving with pitch. He wipes off the remaining pitch with turpentine, leaving the etched lines to be darkened black while the teeth remain a natural yellow-white.
He then personalizes each one:
The first he carves a small woman with a fish flying towards the dragon.
On the second he carves a young woman with magical sparkles around her, and he uses blood to die her and her sparkles pink.
On the third, he carves a woman with horns playing a lute.
The fourth he carves a dwarf; a hammer in one hand and a shield in the other. The shield faces the viewer, and on it he carves the symbol of Torm.
On the final tooth, he carves a lizardfolk, bow and arrow knocked and pulled, water splashing around his legs.
These dragon teeth bring strength. You will speak with a jeweler to turn it into a pendent with chain, or a weapon Smith to attack to a pommel for a dagger, or simply keep it with you. May it bring you memories of the time you stared down a dragon, and the dragon blinked.

Krissina |

Krissina leaves the others to take care of Ellison.
- - -
She admires the tooth when handed to her, "I thank you, this is amazing, though I'm not sure I really deserve it, I was just along for the ride - I wasn't much help." she leans over and gives Rakish a a kiss on the cheek.

Glenda Huckleberry |

Never got something like this before! Thank you! I'll treasure it! Glenda says. She admires the craft of the carving.
And I thought he was going to eat you, Fynn! Though at least that would mean getting rid of you!

Drakr |

"Not much help?! I'd be crawler food in the sewer if it wasn't for you Krissina! You have my thanks! "
