yep, that's pretty much what i was afraid of out of the goblins!
Criek moves across to get a better shot at the maniacs on the tower, lobbing an alchemist's fire of his own onto them --

Sho moves on the orge and literally disasembles it. an orc mysteriously reappears. The battle stops for an instant and the behemoth collapses, the dark energy powering it rendered inert.

Criek restarts the battle wit an accurate bomb on the tower, killing both goblins with a loud blast, followed be many secondary blasts turning the tower into a beacon.
The doors of the fort suddenly burst open with a cry of FOR THE LIGHT! and two figures in full plate burst out, cutting down the shaman and another orc. A figure behind casts a spell and a spectral long sword kills another. less well armoured figures burst out from behind, attacking.
The orcs break and rout. Most of the remainder are killed as they flee.
Three goblins who were about to ambush creik look at each other and say nope! and stealth away, unnoticed.
The battle is over.
One of the armored figues steps up. You notice his armour has seen had use, with blood stains on parts. He nocks his visor up, revealing the face of a handsome young man.
