"Little Tik Tik has found prisoners and requires a distraction. I can be very distracting. Come."

Thogg leaves immediately without further discussion or even looking to see if the others will follow. He, perhaps foolishly, has no fear of whatever he will encounter at the court.

As Thogg leaves the patron look at him, and it seem they all want to say "What is he about to do?", but none of them attempt to turn him around.

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

The human wizard does not move from his seated position. Thogg, is it? We should not attack the defenders of this town unprovoked. It might be that we few here are enough to trouble this dragon and the leadership will release their prisoners at our request.

Keffle's voice lowers, but his eyes remain fixed on the barbarian. We are guests. We should offer our help before we force it on them.

Thogg pauses outside the door. "You tchamek and your words, your permissions. I am a free man and they are not. I am strong and they are not. I cannot make them strong but I can make them free, free as all men should be under the sky. I am Thogg Smashes-What-He-Hates. I do not need permission."

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Keffle does not stand, but his voice takes on a challenging tone. There are good people in those cells, Thogg. Someone might get hurt that does not deserve to be. There are soldiers that know nothing of this count's unworthiness. Is there sport in killing men who cannot contend with you? Save your ire for the dragon. Unless you feel the need to practice your mettle.

"If they cannot contend they should not fight me. If they do, they have made their choice. I am going to knock on their door. Loudly. With luck, this will give Tik Tik the opportunity he needs. If you wish to talk so much, talk to whoever opens the door."

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

Kaz watches this exchange between the two men I think giving Thogg a chance to be a distraction is not a bad idea , the problem is Adreris these people are to afraid to act because this is where they live we might need to step in on their behalf he looks directly at Adreris losing any sort of humor in his tone The moment they took someone I know they made it personal he gets up from the table to follow Thogg, then looking back at the table with his previous demeanor Plus, this ruined my holiday so I think watching Thogg thump some people might be a little fun.

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

::It's decided then!:: The still mist-like dragon thinks. ::I can get them out, but I think we should talk to them before they leave. I've already asked about whether or not they have a place to go outside of the city.::

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

The human allows his furrowed brow to relax. His eyes light up a bit as he considers Thogg. A demon will be a demon, he thinks to himself before speaking.

Very well, he says. If we are to take action tonight regardless, please allow me to speak to the authority that first engages us. If he will not hear us, Thogg becomes the distraction and we free those unjustly imprisoned. If any challenge us, we will claim the captives as our price for helping with the dragon. If nothing else, the conflict will bring us face to face with the rulers of the city earlier rather than later.

The wizard stands and straightens his leather coat. He looks up at Tik Tik expectantly.

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

::If you have the means to follow me to them, then by all means you may help.:: Tik-Tik thinks to the group. ::But I am going through tiny spaces to get to the prisoners, and only in this mist-like form can I do it. Follow me.::

Tik-Tik floats back over to the door and slides through past it, waiting for the others to come out before leading the way to the Court.

The building is a not all that big. It has double doors, and when Thogg arrives he sees a town guard leaving the building.

It looks like this building, but a little bigger.

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Keffle steps forward at the opportunity, looking sidelong at Thogg to announce his intentions. He hails the young soldier.

Young sir, I greet you from the far corners of the world. We, here he gestures to those with him, are each invitees to the planned wedding for today. Our arrivals were too late to prevent the calamity you've endured, but we would speak with your leadership and offer to set things right. Where will we find them?

Diplomacy 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15

I blame any failure on whatever Thogg does or says next. :b

The solder responds. "I don't know who is in charge anymore. Saleno is supposed to be in charge. He is probably at the brothel. His advisor, Eldran Tesh is nowhere to be seen. Ya to those things walking around with scythes, but I would not advise it."

"Maybe we'll go to the brothel after this is done. You can talk to this Saleno and I'll use the place properly." Laughing at his own joke, Thogg walks directly to the buildings double doors, unslings his earthbreaker and uses it to "knock" on the door three times.

damage: 9d6 + 75 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 6, 6, 3, 6, 2, 6) + 75 = 111

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Keffle takes a step towards the door after Thogg speaks. He turns his head to call to the guard over his shoulder.

We've come to rescue your town. Best if you tell the guard that our intervention is a good thing.

The door explodes off the hinges

Two young men(dwarves) pale skin similar to the young lady that was at the gate are staring at Thogg, and they don't appear to be happy. They are also holding scythes.

One of them looks at Thogg saying "Surrender your weapon and stand down. There will not be a second warning."

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

Knowing that this is his chance, Tik-Tik slips back through the window he went through earlier, immediately looking around to see if the guards that were here are moving toward the entrance.

Perception:1d20 + 19 ⇒ (13) + 19 = 32

"Drop your weapons and run away from this place screaming that you have been defeated by Thogg Smashes-What-He-Hates or I kill you where you stand. Decide quickly; your time is short as my patience is limited."

Intimidate: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30

They drop their weapons and quickly exit the area.

The entrance area into the building seems to be an area that people would go to in order to report crimes or address or grievances. Directly ahead is a door with a sign that say "authorized personnel only".

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

Kaz Steps forward heading toward Thogg and Adreris "It seems that you just made us Authorized Personnel, shall we enter?"

Thogg calls to the fleeing guards, "don't forget to scream how you were defeated by me. I wish this town to know my name."

He turns back to Kaz. "Yes, let's go. Maybe the next bunch won't run."

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

"Let hope they don't I would like to see you in Action.

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Searching his repertoire for disabling magic, Keffle retorts, None in this building will serve as a worthy challenge. Best to remember that we are here to help, and that the men we find here have families. We will overcome them without doubt, but the real enemy is the dragon and its attendant conspiracy.

Thogg advances through the next door, smashing it off his hinges. He likes to make an entrance.

Thogg charges into the next room to and find himself in the area where the prisoners are held. There are two more of the pale looking people holding scythes.

One of them says "Surrender your weapons or surrender your lives."

"I will crush your bones beneath my boots and kick the dust around. Leave and live. Stay and die. I will have these prisoners freed and you are in my way."

Intimidate: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19

The dwarves do not appear to be impressed by Thogg's threats. They don't reply but it is still obvious what their intentions are.

Roll Initiative :)

I was hoping I'd fail one of these Intimidate rolls!

Initiaive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Balls. I bet they're dead before I get a chance to esplode them.

Initiative for the bad guys: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Thogg did anyone go in with you? I thought Adreris Keffle was there.

Kaz and Keffle were right behind me. Looking back, I don't think Mouse or Arefan have posted since March. Did we lose them?

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

As Thogg Said I was there and Rolling Init now.

Initiative: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23

I will send them PM's. I may have to start recruiting since I already had the bad guys made up for a 5 to 6 man party.

In order to keep things going I will start the combat.

Init:
Kaz 23

Bad guys 23

Thogg 10

I will have a map up shortly.

I just noticed Keffle did not roll initiative. I will shoot him a PM also.

Link to the map

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

Just let me know if/when the prisoner's guards leave.

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Sorry...we had long moments of not posting so I went into surgery. I come out with nine posts. : }

Initiative 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Initiative total is actually 1. Tried to correct it but Paizo and my computer just don't get along.

Tik-Tik it seems your party members are about to try to kill the guards. :)

Init:
Kaz 23

Bad guys 23

Thogg 10

Keffle 1

I just recruited a cleric for the party. As soon as the crunch is approved he will be joining.

Round 1:
Kaz you are up.

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

Kaz will move into the room from outside Moving into the room drawing black blade and stepping in front of bAddie 2 "you should have listened to my friend, we didn't want it to come to this I am sorry. he then smiles wickedly and strike the man with Keeper

Kaz is going for sub dual damage this first round with his attacks hoping to not kill unless absolutely nesecerary if he knocks ou baddie 2 he will shift to baddie 1.

Keeper Attack 1 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 20 = 38

Keeper damage 1 1d8 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 26

Keeper Attack 1 confirm 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37

Keeper damage 1 confirm 1d8 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 26

Keeper Attack 2 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26

Keeper damage 2 1d8 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 26

Keeper Attack 3 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Keeper damage 3 1d8 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 20 = 21

knowledge check for Keffle:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Keffle can not really identify the exact creature type, but he does seem to think they are undead.

Kaz you may redo your actions, but keep your rolls since you would have known this.

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

Just apply those as full attacks against one if that kills him move it to the next one I'll keep it simple for the first round

Kaz your last attack was also a possible crit.
possible crit confirmation: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
damage if crit is confirmed: 1d8 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 27
not confirmed.

Kaz's 1st and last attacks hit for 73 points of damage.

They both eyes seem to wander for a bit, but you are unable to get an attack in. They then tell you that you will die.

They go after Kaz(AC 36)

Monster 1 takes a 5 foot step
Attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34
scythe: 2d4 + 22 ⇒ (4, 1) + 22 = 27

Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
scythe: 2d4 + 22 ⇒ (2, 2) + 22 = 26

Monster 2 takes a 5 ft step to complete the flank

Attack: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (10) + 21 = 31
scythe: 2d4 + 22 ⇒ (3, 4) + 22 = 29

Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
scythe: 2d4 + 22 ⇒ (4, 2) + 22 = 28

Despite the flanking they are unable to hit Kaz even once. The frustration is evident on their faces.

edit:changed name. :)

Male Fighter 5, Mag 10, HP: 143, AC: 36 Tch: 16, FF: 34 F: +18, R: +13, W: +13, Init: +14, Per: +16

You meant Kaz not Keffle

"Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Thogg screams his rage at the two creatures that have dared to challenge him. His muscles swell and for a moment you would swear the image of the biggest bear you've ever seen is superimposed over Thogg's form.

If you were able to look close enough, you'd see Thogg's skin hardening and his body hair growing thicker and more coarse. His fingernails elongate and harden forming serviceable claws.

As he swings, his Earthbreaker erupts with flame and from any wound comes the sizzle of acid.

Power Attack 1: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (3) + 24 = 272d6 + 2d6 + 1d6 + 31 ⇒ (1, 3) + (1, 2) + (5) + 31 = 43 That's 2d6 acid followed by d6 fire in case of resistances

Power Attack 2: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (8) + 19 = 272d6 + 2d6 + 1d6 + 31 ⇒ (2, 1) + (2, 2) + (3) + 31 = 41

Power Attack 3: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 202d6 + 2d6 + 1d6 + 31 ⇒ (5, 2) + (4, 5) + (3) + 31 = 50

Raging (1/32), Elemental Rage (Fire), Lesser Elemental Rage for this round (acid)

Thogg seems to grow in size, and his weapon becomes coated with the elements, but it seems his anger has gotten the better of him. He is so out of control that every attack misses.

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

Might as well join the fun. Initiative:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

::Okay people,:: Tik-Tik thinks to the prisoners, ::on the off chance my friends can't beat the guards, we need to get you out of here.::

Are the prisoners secured in chains in their cells?

Tik-Tik you can go ahead an act this round, and still keep your initiative for the next round.

They are not chained or bound in any way other than being locked in the cell. They are marked on the map with a "P".

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

I'll slip into cell that has C-3 as a part of it and use my standard action to end my Gaseous Form extract.

Male Human Conjuror 7, Malconvoker 8

Seeing the presence of undead, Keffle's demeanor changes dramatically. It seems almost as if the air around him thickens and heats up. He moves into the room with narrowed eyes and, barking a few foreign phrases, stretches out his hand to point at the pale dwarf near the western wall.

moved on the map. Target one opponent with four rays from contagious flame. CL 14.

ranged touch +8 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21; damage 4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 6) = 14
ranged touch +8 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19; damage 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 1) = 13
ranged touch +8 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19; damage 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 2) = 12
ranged touch +8 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14; damage 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 5) = 17

Also, I will make an effort to finish all of Keffle's stuff today. I forgot he wasn't done. Sorry!

They don't have SR so you just have to make your touch attack rolls. IIRC contagious flame works like scorching ray to a large extent.
